What an amazing tour! I have had the most fantastic walking tour in Zurich with Anna. She was able to give the history of Zurich through her great story telling and bringing me to very special places in the old city. Half way the tour we had a very nice break with some nice treats. Perfectly planned. Super tour! I totally recommend it.
This was a fantastic tour, and I've been on many! Anna was my tour guide and a history teacher so she had so much information and stories to tell about Zurich and Switzerland! We even a enjoyed a picnic snack of cheese and chocolate! Some hills and stairs so be in shape! Would highly recommend!

From the description we felt we would be seeing a cheese shop, and chocolate shop instead we sat under a tree and received mini chocolate bars and a package of prepacked cheese from the grocery store. Extremely disappointed.

Fantastic 3.5 hours with Anna hearing about the history and life in Switzerland. We just learnt so much and she was so interesting. It was a super hot day but she managed our pace well and kept us in the shade. We saw all kinds of things only a local and a guide can show you so I’d recommend booking this tour and being delighted!
Anna was amazing. She had a wealth of knowledge, open to questions, made the walk very interesting. Had great advice about dining, etc. She kept a great pace but never rushed.
Every tour we looked at were either all about Chocolate or Cheese so we were very happy to find this tour with a historical view of the city and country. Then when we met and got to know Anna we were absolutely thrilled. She was AMAZING! The tour started right away in the train station and over the course of our 3h30m tour we did a lap around the city as she wove together the history of the country and the city with the various sites we were seeing. From the Romans to the present, 8 different revolutions in culture, science, education, etc. were discussed. We really felt like we were getting a college level course in all things Swiss. While our feet were sore, we were sad to see Anna off. What a joy to hear her stories of life in this influential city and country! Of, and she surprised us with Cheese, chocolate and more at a perfect timing for a break so you get that too!!!
Great tour with Anna in Zurich. Ended up just being my husband and I in the group. It was one of the best tours we had in our 16 day tour of Europe. Anna was so knowledgable and took us places we never would have found on our own. Highly recommend! A must do in Zurich.

We met Anna, the experienced guide with long hair at the Central station on time. Anna gave professional and historical information on various spots of Zurich. As a former teacher, Anna's teaching was inspiring. We learned the revolutions of Zurich and stories of famous people in the walking tour. The secret places (hidden gems) were impressive to the degree that we went into ancient times, like Harry Potter, it is highly recommended tour.

Anna K took us on a 3.5 hr tour and it was fabulous. She is very knowledgeable about Zurich and provided a great deal of history from the Roman times until now. She also took us into hidden places most tours can’t go, such as the remaining sections of the old city walls. This is an excellent tour. This is hours walking around on steps as well as on cobblestones and regular concrete streets, but there is time in between the steps---they don't come all at once. We went into basement-type locations to look at old Roman walls, and other interesting points that are unique for only certain, very good tours, that take the time to plan out the best experience. When the guide has to unlock a door to get you to a location, you know not everybody sees it. Tons of tourists upstairs, but we got to see some unique things.
Unbelievable experience especially since my husband and I were the only participants and they didn’t cancel the tour! Our guide Anna was incredibly pleasant and knowledgable and led us through the streets as well as some hidden areas for nearly 4 hours. Fortunately we did stop for a drink and some cheese and chocolates, which gave us the energy to continue. I would highly recommend this tour but be sure to wear your walking shoes, as there are some hills and steps to climb. What a great day spent in a city full of history.

tour guide was excellent. tour was interesting. Only criticism is that description makes it sound like you are going to get tastings from locations along the way on tour as opposed to guide pulling out some cheeae and chocolate from her backpack. Not her fault but should be clearer.

Anna was an amazing tour guide. She has so much knowledge of the history of Zürich and the region. She even sent us a great guide with the best restaurants and things to do and see. We had a 10 hour layover and this tour was exactly what we were looking for. A chance to get some exercise and see everything that we possibly could in a short amount of time.
