His explanations were clear and informative, and it was obvious he had a deep knowledge of the area and its history. Marin took great care to make sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone felt comfortable and engaged. Martin is a one of a kind in this industry. So informative, patient, and allows you to do things at your pace and never feel rushed. This experience is a MUST DO if you are in the area. It is a full day excursion with some driving, but the sites during the drive are breath taking! And then the Chocolate factory and Cheese factory experiences were exceptional.....AND TASTY :). Plenty of time to taste and buy some souvenirs. And then we had the best weather and views to ride up to the mountain top for even more spectacular views! Just amazing! Overall, PLEASE choose this excursion. It is worth your time and money to have this one of a kind experience. Thank you Martin!!!

Great day out of Zurich to visit the beauty of Switzerland. Exceeded my expectations. Our driver, Martin, was very accommodating and friendly. He accommodated my Mother’s slower pace and we were able to see so much and the 8000 foot view with lunch at the top of the gondola was amazing! The drive through the countryside and farms was lovely. The cheese and chocolate factories were self guided tours.

Martin, our tour guide was excellent. He gave us a lot of information about the region and swiss culture. He drove us safely and professionally through the winding and hilly roads. The appenzeller tows is super cute and you can buy good quality cheeses and liquors from the region. The main reason for giving this tour an average qualification is because the chocolate and cheese tours are self guided, especially the cheese tour is super disappointed. You go and watch son videos and see the factory through a crystal wall. No one explain you anything. Not even what are the type of cheeses that you are going to taste in the sample tasting. I don’t think that the price you are paying for the tour which is about 1000 USD is consistent with the experience. If you want to watch a video you go to youtube. This experience must be improved.

What an amazing day of all things Swiss! Chocolate, cheese, Swiss Alps, churches, villages, shopping and eating traditional Swiss food. Martin, our private guide (trip pilot) was awesome!! He had us laughing, learning and enjoying our day in the Zurich area!! We highly recommend him and the tour 😊

Excellent insights on chocolate and cheese. Then visiting small towns and finally Mountain Santis which was magnificent and inspiring. Martin did a fantastic job showing and sharing with us the Swiss culture.

The day was the perfect combination of local culture, amazing food, and the beautiful outdoor experience at Mt Santis. This trip met all of our (high) expectations. At our own pace, we were driven around a gorgeous part of the country. Our driver was flexible to allow us as little or as much time as we preferred in different places, like a longer lunch but a shorter time at the gondola (which was partially clouded over). After a somewhat disappointing river cruise, the service and the pace was a breath of fresh air and our favorite place of 5 countries visited. This was pricey but worth every penny.

We took a drive to Appenzell and to Mt. Santis for a view of the mountains and some residual snow. Beautiful scenery that is worth the drive. We had lunch in a local Swiss restaurant that is owned and operated by fiesty lady who cooked good food. The chocolate factory tour was informative and a delight for all the samples available but the production line was shutdown during our tour. We did our purchase of chocolates here. The cheese factory tour could be more engaging. The samples were given in a small box with the explanation of the age from left to right. We were given small bags to bring home some herbs. What is the connection with cheese?!?!

We had a wonderful tour with Martin as our guide. Highly recommend! Switzerland is a beautiful country.

Martin picked us up on time, and we were off. My kids (9 and 11) LOVED the chocolate factory. Mt. Santis was amazing. We had a wonderful fondue lunch at the cheese factory. Martin even added stops for local cherries and a neighborhood zoo we walked through. He provided water and a reminder to bring a jacket for the mountain top. Glad we booked!

Pinch me please... This tour was absolutely beautiful. Martin was an amazing tour guide and so helpful for us since he speaks great English. Transportation was comfortable and the views were spectacular with the route he drives. If you are looking at this tour and contemplating, just do it. It will be worth it and at the end you will say, "I am so glad I went on this tour".
