Discover the highlights of Zurich and the spectacular landscapes of Northern Switzerland on this full-day private guided tour. Begin with a sightseeing tour of Zurich, exploring the elegant Bahnhofstrasse, university quarter, and historic Limmatquai, known for its medieval guild houses and churches. Stop at Lake Zurich for photographs before visiting Fraumünster Church, renowned for its world-famous Chagall stained-glass windows, and continue through the atmospheric Old Town. Leaving Zurich behind, travel through the scenic wine-growing region of Northern Switzerland, passing traditional villages and the impressive Munot Fortress in Schaffhausen. Continue to the spectacular Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest waterfall, where you will have approximately one hour to enjoy the dramatic scenery and, weather permitting, optionally experience a boat ride close to the cascading waters. Entrance to the Rhine Falls Experience at Castle Laufen is included before returning to Zurich at the end of the day.
