During a short trip to Zurich, our group chose die Stadtflüsterer for their appealing itineraries and pricing. Shortly after booking, we received a welcome text that included the details for the tour. We were appreciative that the operator accommodated our request for an earlier start time. The day before the tour, we were advised that Jasmin would be our tour guide. On the day of the tour, Jasmin was punctual, welcoming, and ready to show us the sights! We’re so glad we booked our private Zurich tour with die Stadtflüsterer! A unique highlight was exploring the Ehgraben, where we squeezed through medieval sewer tunnels and learned about the city's fascinating history. Jasmin was professional and courteous, ensuring we learned about the rich history of Zurich. Adrian took us on a fast paced two hour walk on Zurich's streets, alleyways, and an abandoned sewer. A great introduction to the city. He was knowledgeable about Zurich's history as well as Zurich itself. I would do this walk again if I were ever in Zurich again.

We were in Zurich for one day and are so glad we did this tour. We saw way more of the city (and under it) than we would have alone. Thank you Adi for a great tour! Also good experience with a child— we had a 1.5 yr old and they were accommodating. Just bring a carrier (better than stroller)

He showed us secret and hidden spots and told us many funny and unknown stories about places, houses, buildings, people and historical details. We went to Zurich for a bike trip to Switzerland and decided to do a city walking tour before we caught our train the following day. We met our guide, Hans, at the train station to begin the tour group. We ended up being the only ones and so we had a wonderful and intimate 1.5 hr tour of Zurich, learning about the history and fun stories of Zurich. We even had access to parts of the city that are not open to the public. Highly recommend this city walking tour, especially with Hans! He made it fun and interesting!

We toured Zurich with lifelong resident Martin, and his enthusiasm and knowledge of this city were impressive. He shared the religious, political & cultural background of Zurich through the centuries, and we really felt like we were getting an authentic experience. Thank you Martin!

We were shown the beautiful city of Zurich by Martin and he was great. Born and raised right in Zurich, he gave myself and my wife a first hand experience of the city, its history, what he loved about his city and so much more. We loved every part of this tour especially the ancient relics of the old Roman spas and the hidden areas between the buildings. We were so lucky to have Martin as our guide.

This tour was a quick introduction to Zurich and the history that made the city what it is today. Martin was a good host, and did an admirable job even though he was new to the role. We learned a lot about how the city was shaped, and took some very interesting side trips to places most tourists would never have the opportunity to see. My only issue was the price seemed rather high compared to other walking tours we took with Viator. But then again, Zurich is an expensive town.

A nice 1.5 mile stroll around Zurich exploring the history of the city and its structures. Our guide Hans told many wonderful stories

My family really enjoyed this tour! The guides were very knowledgeable about the city and engaging (even for the kids). They even accommodated a last minute change in timing when our inbound flight was delayed. They take you to places you’re unlikely to visit in your own and, in doing so, help weave together a comprehensive picture of the history of the city..

Fun and informative tour. Our guide was Edu - he did a great job and told us stories about Zurich history while we walked around the city. He brought pictures to help describe the history and pointed out a lot of small details that we would have otherwise walked by without noticing. Edu pointed out places to us to consider visiting if we had time (including the police station and the observatory). He shared fascinating stories about the streets, back alleys, bay windows, and tunnels. We also appreciated that he was open to answering our general questions about Switzerland. He also mentioned a recommendation about visiting Bern, which we did and very much enjoyed. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, passionate about sharing his knowledge about Swiss history and culture and also offered to take photos of us. Highly recommended!

Eduardo, our guide, provided a fantastic overview from the central station to Lake Geneva. He added interesting nuances that we would not otherwise realized.

We enjoyed this tour of Zurich. We had a couple of special needs, and our hosts were patient and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone like us, who has an hour or two and wants an entertaining overview of Zurich’s historical center. Very engaging!

We had a great time on our walking tour of Zurich w Adrian. We learned so much about the history of Zurich and got to see so many cool landmarks and some places we wouldn't have found on our own. We had originally asked our hotel to arrange a private walking tour for us and they had suggested something vastly more expensive. We thought this tour was great and everything we wanted!

This was one of our favorite experiences during our Zurich trip! Jurg was very knowledgeable about Zurich’s history and had great jokes throughout. It was also nice that we walked a decent amount to see more areas of Zurich that we wouldn’t have seen on our own, and we didn’t have to stand in one area too long which was nice.

Our guide was excellent! We saw so much of the city and learned a lot about is history. The underground tunnels were a highlight, but the entire tour really gave us good base of knowledge about Zurich which was a great start to our stay. Highly recommended!
