Board a coach at the central Zurich bus terminal and savor the scenery as you drive approx. 100 minutes south through Switzerland's beautiful Bernese Oberland to Interlaken.
Arrive in Interlaken and enjoy some limited time before boarding the bus again. Continue with a short drive to Lauterbrunnen.
In Lauterbrunnen you'll hop on a cogwheel Train for a ride up the Alps via the Kleine Scheidegg mountain pass.
Climb up, up, up, savoring views of the towering mountains around you, until you reach Jungfraujoch. You're officially at the highest train station in Europe, at an elevation of 11,333 feet (3,454 meters)! At the Top of Europe, experience a breathtaking panorama of the Swiss Alps enveloped in eternal snow and ice for approximately 3 hours.
Overlook the Aletsch Glacier (Europe's longest glacier) from the sweeping Sphinx Observatory and spot the snow-capped peaks of neighboring France and Italy beyond. Grab a drink or a bite to eat at the panoramic restaurant if you wish.
Walk through the heart of a glacier in the Ice Palace.
After your time at Jungfraujoch, ride the cogwheel train down to Eigergletscher, where you will change to the V-Cableway Eiger Express. After approx. 15 minutes you will reach Grindelwald Terminal, where the coach awaits for the drive back to Zurich.
Arrive at the bus terminal Sihlquai en the evening.
Kid (our guide) was awesome, super outgoing, kept the group moving, motivated, high energy, a true character as well! The tour was amazing and Kid is a pretty unforgettable soul! Jungfraujoch can't be beat either, but the guide is who makes or breaks this type of journey! BTW, "Heeeellllloooooo" Kid! And no, I never found my ticket ;)
1. Kid is the best guide you can ask for on this tour. Request him if possible and move your schedule around to make it work. You wont regret it. 2. The transportation is easy and pleasant. The first coach to interlaken can feel long, be sure to eat and not drink too much as the coach has no lavatory. Water Closets/toilets found easily after that. Food and drink encouraged to start the journey. Coach is safe storage throughout. 3. If you have a fear of heights, you can still absolutely enjoy this journey. The mountain coach is easy, as is the train. Both pleasant and not scary. If the Eiger cable car ride at the end (15 minutes, brief and fun) worries you, get something for anxiety from your doctor. I’m petrified of heights and was able to enjoy the trip to the fullest because of it. All in all, a wonderful tour enhanced by a great, fun guide.
Excellent experience today with the tour. Timings was precise. Great atmosphere and our tour guide KID was exceptional. With the snow we couldn’t stay too long on top. But the time we spent was worth it. Definitely had a great time.
I've been traveling for many years, and this was easily one of the best tours I have ever taken. I joined with a couple of friends, and from start to finish it exceeded every expectation. The itinerary is spectacular: a stop in Interlaken, the drive to Lauterbrunnen, the cogwheel train up through Kleine Scheidegg, and finally Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe. The view of the Aletsch Glacier from the Sphinx Observatory is breathtaking, and walking through the Ice Palace felt like stepping into another world. Everything was well organized and perfectly timed. But what made this day truly special was our guide, Kid, from Thailand. What an extraordinary person. Kid made us feel welcome from the very first minute, shared the history and stories of the region with real passion, and looked after every single person in the group down to the smallest detail. Kid even took all of our photos throughout the day, so we came home with amazing memories from every stop without having to worry about a thing. I don't say this lightly: in all my years of travel (and believe me, I have traveled a lot), Kid is the best tour guide I have ever had. Kid turned a beautiful excursion into a memory I will treasure for the rest of my life. If you're considering this tour, book it. Excellent experience, worth the money. Our tour guide, Kid, was wonderful. Attentive and clearly wanted to ensure everyone had the best experience. He learned everyone’s name and took pictures at all the most scenic spots. He was constantly working the whole time, even on the train. If you get Kid as your tour guide, you are promised to have a great time, commemorated with plenty of great pictures.

If you want to go to the top, take a tour. The guide does an enormous amount of work to make your trip a success. It would be highly stressful to do it on your own.
It’s a full day so bring water, a sandwich and snacks because there’s not really much time to get food along the way. It was a fabulous day, our guide Kid was wonderful, funny, and took plenty of photos of us asking the way so that we got some great pics of our day.

It can be very cold at top of mountain, and warm at the bottom during summer time. Bring plenty of snacks and water and dress accordingly to weather forecast. GrayLine tour with Kid as the tour guide is the best.

Im sure if the trip went it would have been good, the customer support are heartless and do not refund you if you cant make the trip last minute to being stuck with bad weather. The cost is so expensive and its worth being aware of this with the increasing variability in weather that the company just want to take that as an opportunity to snatch your money and not even reschedule.

Very long time on bus. Only one stop! No toilet facilities on the bus, very bad experience. If you pron to car sickness stay away from this tour.

The organization, timings and experience were excellent. The guide, although he was efficient, was more interested in making sure we got photos of ourselves, almost "Snatching" our phones. As soon as everyone had been "processed" we moved on, no time to actually sit and take in the magnificent views

This is definitely worth the effort to experience an extreme environment in a safe manor. It might not be the best experience for very small children and you definitely need some cold weather clothing. I was grateful for our guide (Kid) and his prepared nature in helping us experience the tour well. I would have preferred a slower pacing to read the historical aspects of the cogwheel train’s development and to play in the ice palace longer, but this tour introduced me to “how” to prepare and plan for it. Definitely recommending!

This was a fantastic tour with fantastic scenery, led by a fantastic guide named kid. There were many facets to this tour and he managed us through them remarkably with Precision and finesse. He was also a fantastic photographer and got us all the pictures that we wanted. He knew exactly where we should stand and exactly when the background was going to be perfect, we couldn’t ask for anything more. He was friendly. He was funny and he made us all laugh. He was knowledgeable. He gave us background information on everything we were seeing he let us through Jungfrau like the seasoned veteran that he is. I would tell anybody not to miss this tour and if they were lucky enough to get kid as a guide, it would enhance their experience tenfold.

This was a fantastic day trip! We easily met the tour guide and group at the Zurich bus terminal. The bus was air-conditioned and comfortable. The first stop in Interlaken was very brief; we had time to run to the restroom and pop into a souvenir shop. Before we took the cogwheel train, we first took a regular train ride (so it's two train rides). The Sphinx Observatory and Ice Palace were amazing! We spent the rest of our time in the snow in Jungfraujoch. We had plenty of time for lunch, but it was close to 2:00 when we ate. The cable car ride back down the mountain was so fun. Our tour guide was Kid, and he was super organized, hilarious, communicative, and caring. Overall, this was a great way to get to the Top of Europe!
One of the best experiences of our trip. Mr. Kid was a phenomenal tour guide. We appreciated his hospitality and that he wanted to take pictures for us at all the best points of the journey and all the best overlooks. He was so knowledgeable about the area and Switzerland in general. For the tour being 12-13 hours, he was the best tour guide for that length of time. His energy is unmatched and he made the tour so much fun. The top of Europe should be on everyone’s trip to Switzerland. The views are breathtaking and almost do not feel real. For potential travelers, keep your fingers crossed that the weather is good and not foggy. This an absolute 5 star tour and experience.

Kim has a great sense of humor, which kept the tour enjoyable throughout. He communicated everything clearly and well in advance, ensuring everyone felt informed and comfortable. This is an all-day excursion from Zurich. It was absolutely amazing! We had a great, fun guide - shout out to Kid! - who took great care of the group on the tour. He gave a great narration and pointed out all the interesting sites along the way. Jungfraujoch was spectacular! Word of warning: dress appropriately and in layers. We went in the first week of May and it was freezing cold in the ice tunnel and out on the glacier. The views of the Swiss Alps, especially from the top, were spectacular! Highly recommended and one of the best experiences we’ve had in all our travels.
We had Kid as our tour guide. We only had 5 other people with us so Kid was able to provide incredible attention to us. He is very energetic and takes pictures for you of incredible views. Interlaken was fun watching the paragliders land, Lauterbrunnen was where we caught the train up to the Top or Europe Jungfraujoch.....spectacular views. Ice Palace ....we were blessed with incredible weather. Highly recommend this tour and Kid as your tour guide.

The whole trip was amazing. The Jungfraujoch is really something to see and experience is amazing. The train, the cable car, the glacier, the ice room, everything was amazing. Would have been great though if we had at least an hour more on Jungfrau, this was a bit tense. Our guide Xi and our driver Vojo were excelent, very polite, helpful and pleasant.
We loved seeing the alps. Raymond was our guide and he was excellent. He made sure that everyone had all the information we needed. Our bus driver was also great.
