Etuktuk Private Tour - Best Of Zürich

Our guide, Daniel, was so knowledgeable and a real pleasure to spend time with. Being a Zurich native, he had a lot of history and insight to share with our family. The Tuk-tuk was a little chilly (it’s winter) but we had cozy blankets to keep us warm. We went all over the city and had a total blast. Highly recommended activity, especially as an easy introduction to this beautiful city.

Bruno was so knowledgeable & so much fun to spend time with as he showed us the sights & helped us see & understand Zurich!

The Tuc-Tuc tour was very pleasant our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided a history lesson about how Zurich came about. Rene was very friendly and a pleasure to be with. The tour lasted a little more than the time alloted and he dropped of by our hotel.

Daniele was a great guide! So knowledgeable and informative. It was raining but he had everything ready for us to still enjoy the tour!

A great way to get an up close overview of the city in a short period of time. It provides an overview of the city so you can go back to areas of interest at your own time. Driver was knowledgeable and entertaining. Just wish there were opportunities to stop to take dome photos.

Robby was an awesome guide! He took such good care of us, and we learned so much about the city of Zurich. It was a great way to get around and see all the sites.

What a disappointment. The tuk tuk was extremely hard to get in, and both of us ended up with bruises on our arms and legs. It’s not at all like the picture shows. Our tour guide brought along a dog, which normally is fine however, this dog was not friendly and every time someone would come anywhere near the tuk tuk to cross the street or whatever the dog would start barking viciously, and he had to stop and yell at the dog to calm him down not a wonderful experience. Not only was it hard to get into, but our visibility was completely obstructed by the bars on the roof and the plastic covering. We had to duck down in order to see anything, very uncomfortable. The first place he took us was an old military base that has been converted into affordable housing. Lots of graffiti and people sitting around outside and we felt very uncomfortable there. I have no problem going there but when you’re doing a tour, you would think that he would go someplace that he’s proud to show off and that wasn’t it. I’m not sure if we just lucked out on our tour guide and our tuk tuk, but it seemed to me that it was bought off of Temu and was not meant for the average size tourist. Hope you have better luck with your tour guide than we did. Look at ours compared to the one in the ad.

The driver was extremely educated with the surroundings of Zurich. He was very friendly and accommodated us vey well

We had some difficulty finding the meeting point, but Robby, our Tuk Tuk driver, called and came to us. This was a fabulous tour! Robby was very knowledgeable and worked with us to see everything we wanted to see. Our tour lasted not quite 2 hrs and Robby helped us get on the right train to come back to our hotel.

Our guide Rene is a lifetime resident of Zurich and so proud and knowledgeable of his city. We stopped and got out of the Tuk Tuk a couple times so he could show us interesting sights and explanations. A great way to see historical Zurich! Recommend!

Seeing Zurich by Tuk Tuk was amazing! We had 2 days in Zurich and this is a fantastic way to see so much of the city. Marco was fantastic, his love for his city and the people was palpable. Highly recommend.

Complaint and Refund Request – e Tuk Tuk - Best of Zurich Dear Viator Customer Service, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding our “e Tuk Tuk - Best of Zurich” tour booked through Viator via TripAdvisor. Tour details: Date: August 15, 2026 Scheduled pickup time: 1:00 PM Pickup location: Europaallee 7, Zurich, Switzerland Amount paid: USD $250.94 Tour: e Tuk Tuk - Best of Zurich We had a confirmed reservation and were provided with a designated pickup location. We arrived at the specified location and waited for the scheduled pickup at 1:00 PM. However, the transportation vehicle never showed up. We received no phone call, text message, email, or any other notification informing us that the pickup had been canceled, delayed, or that the vehicle would not be coming. In other words, the transportation provider failed to honor our confirmed reservation and failed to provide the booked service, while leaving us waiting at the designated pickup location without any communication. This was extremely disappointing and caused us significant inconvenience, particularly because we had planned our day in Zurich around this confirmed tour. We would therefore like to request a full refund of USD $250.94. We also ask Viator to investigate this incident with the tour operator and explain why the scheduled transportation failed to show up without any notification to us. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and let us know when we can expect the refund. I can provide the booking confirmation, reservation details, and any other documentation you may need. Fun way to see the city! Our guide Bruno was such a delight. Funny, personable and knowledgeable. We saw all the major sights and even a beautiful scenic overview of the city. Great way to quickly get oriented to Zürich and then you can go back and spend time at the sights that interest you. Bruno gave us wonderful recommendations for the rest of our stay in Zurich! He was very accommodating and drive back to drop us in old town so we could continue our day there. Highly recommend this activity!

Seeing the Zurich highlights from a tuk tuk was enjoyable and informative. Marco was knowledgeable and it was clear he is proud of his home city.

We loved this tour. Arrived that day at 8:00AM and the tour was at 2:00PM so we were doing it on no sleep but Robby was so interesting that we had no problem staying awake. The TukTuk easily goes in and out of tight alley spaces that other vehicles could not. The tour was 1 1/2 hours long filled with interesting facts and lovely views. My husband had recent toe surgery and wasn’t enjoying doing much walking so this comfortable, easy ride was a great alternative to a walking tour. Highly recommend!

Excellent tour! A wonderful way to experience Zurich, especially if you are on a short trip. Our tour guide was excellent. And an added bonus - he was Greek so our 88 year old Greek Mother was delighted to chat with him in Greek. Love exploring Zurich on this tour

Wonderful way to see Zürich old town with a glass of wine and Stavaranous filling in the gaps. The tuk tuk takes you where buses can’t go.

This tour was very informative, and Daniel our tour guide was very accommodating and flexible as he catered to my husbands needs - it certainly was a great way to see Zurich - hassle free and very interactive.

It’s a great way to get a feel for Zurich. Especially if you are jet-lagged like we were. I would have liked to see more of the Lake than the shopping areas. Great tour all in all.

Awesome tour of old town, both sides. Rene was a great tour guide, that we thoroughly enjoyed. He pointed out buildings, museums and history as we went on our journey. A little walk to the old Jewish quarter and the 1342 bay window, not far from 'Heidi's house'. (The home of the author of this wonderful book.) We went places on the tuk tuk that normally are for pedestrians and bikes, but this tuk tuk qualifies. Limits walking if the weather or physical conditions warrant. We stopped at university viewing platform for great photos. This tour gives you a sense of Zurich, a good overview and a starting point for more exploration on your own. Rene gave us great history stories, as well as interesting stories along the way.

We were only in Zurich for one full day, so we found this tour a great way to see the city's sites and hear its history in a fun way. Joe was a good guide and answered almost all of our questions. Thr one down point was that the link we received for our meeting place was not accurate on the Google maps app. But we called Joe and met him 1.5 blocks away from the specified point.

Our driver was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable of Zurich, and told us all sorts of things we didn't know about the lovely City. The ride was very comfortable, and enjoyable.

A little disappointing in that guide didn’t have much information when we asked questions, and was showing us office buildings that really didn’t mean much to us. Nice guy, but we were limited to what we saw.

This tour exceeded our expectations, Robby our guide met us at the meeting point next to Starbucks as scheduled. He was so pleasant and took extra time to ensure my wife who has some mobility issues was safely seated and comfortable. Through out the tour he was engaging and ensured we saw all the sights and provided insight into the different neighborhoods and pointed out good places to eat and things to see. This tour was the highlight of our trip in Zurich! Highly recommended without any reservations!!! Wow!!!

Marco was great. It was nice to see other areas of Zurich you normally would not go to and learn the history.

We met up with our guide on a damp day in early May 2026 - and he graciously provided blankets and the vehicle had a cover. Our driver/guide provided a decent ride nearby the area of pickup - be sure to Europaallee 7 (back side near where Starbucks exits mall) Overall it was a decent experience and the driver was funny

It was a wonderful introduction to the city. Our guide pointed out prominent sites & it was just the right amount of information; not overwhelming, but sufficient. His driving ability was superb as it was a very busy time in the city. I think any first-time visitor to Zurich would appreciate this tour.

This was our fist TukTuk experience and we loved it! The guide did a great job and we could next have covered this much of old city by walking.

Unfortunately it was a cold overcast day. Our tour guide was on time , knowledgeable and provided us with excellent detaills about sites we passed. If it had been warmer and we weren’t zipped in it would have been nice to get some pictures. Oh well can’t control the weather. We recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful tour with Joe, it was truly the highlight of our trip to Zurich. Not only did we learn about the city’s rich history and iconic landmarks, but Joe also took us to some incredible hidden viewpoints we would have never found on our own. His knowledge, storytelling, and enthusiasm made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

We were very happy with Bruno, our guide. The vehicle had a very low roof and made seeing out difficult.

I booked the tour with a request to go through the Kreis 4 Langstrasse. The tour guide was awesome he was very informative. We then went through the old city and tge Bahnhofstrasse. The weather was great too. Really worth the money 👏🏻👏🏻👍👍☀️☀️

It was extremely cold on the day of our city tour on the tuk tuk tour but Stefano gave us blankets which helped as did his interesting narrative. We enjoyed the overview of the city as we really had only the one day in Zurich.

We were late for 15 minutes & the tour guide gladly waited for us. He was very nice & funny. He took us around all the main areas, even recommended restaurants, chocolate spots. We had an reservation after our tour which gladly dropped us to (it was in old town).

Best way to see the layout of the city. See locations of shops , restaurants & entertainment venues.

We couldn't control the weather. Windy and rainy and cold. But the Tuk Tuk was covered and curtailed and very comfortable. Driver gave us a lot of details of Zurich. Great way to see the City
