Beware of this tour if the guide is a short man from Thailand with his hair sprayed upward and wearing culottes and a vest. His name is Kidd. He is rude and nasty to all the customers and was able to ruin what should have been an incredible tour.

Reviews
The tour guide was extremely rude and didn't explain any details. Gave incorrect information about trains and we had to seek help from locals. The tour guide didn't want to be bothered about any questions and behaved very rudely. Will not recommend this tour operator. Complete waste of our time.
This was absolutely awesome! Hans was a great guide and kept us coralled well. Just an amazing experience to touch the clouds in the Swiss Alps. So much fun to go by bus and train.
Great tour, the views are amazing and beautiful, Kid the tour guide explained very good how to take the trains, this tour is only the tickets , you will be by your own, however I liked a lot
First of all, a lot of reviews lambaste the tour guide, Kid. As first I could understand, but it became obvious it’s mostly a cultural /language difference. He had several different tours on one bus, we did something different than almost everyone else on the bus. He did not spend time answering questions if you were going to be with him all day, he needed to focus to get the others on their way on their own. He specifically pulled us aside, handled our tickets, told us exactly how to do our own journey, and he was correct and we were sure of ourselves once he let us go. On the way back he was quite entertaining and funny. On to the experience itself, we visited Kleine Shiedegg to se the north face of the Eiger, and it was gorgeous, and had a nice scenic train ride. Grindelwald was a nice place to spend some time as well.
There was a lot of beautiful scenery at some parts of the tour and lots of boring riding in a bus. Also there was lots of free time to wander the touristy streets of a couple of towns with overpriced merch and junky tourist stuff. The guide was pleasant and knowledgeable.
Our guide! He was the best guide we’ve ever had! Helloooooo he was amazing and ornate our day! He made it memorable, personable and made sure we got the best pictures to last a life time! I wish there were more stars!
I really enjoyed this trip and the amazing scenery and amount of free time - I did have difficulty interpreting what my guide Kid was saying sometimes especially regarding meeting points/times etc - this made me feel a bit anxious.
The scenery was amazing and the bus driver was great. The guide, Kid was obnoxious, rude and very disorganized. His idea of humor was making fun of people. He insulted a man in front of his family and also made an ethnic slur towards him. Unacceptable! The tour is worth taking if you can avoid having Kid as your guide. Otherwise, skip.
It was a great experience over All! Kid was great, he was very organized and super informative a little hard to understand at times but if you asked he would explain again. If you see any bad reviews about Kid ppl need to learn humor. Didn’t give it a 5/5 because there was not WiFi on the bus and it was very hot. Also, if you are caught in traffic you get less time to spend at Interlaken. The bus driver was also top notch. Also, if others don’t follow directions it mess up your time at locations too. Again nothing you can do about that but it is part of the experience.
Wow we completed this trip on Saturday 13th January 2023. Our tour guide was Raymond !! We had the most amazing experience. The views were absolutely incredible , we loved every single bit of the trip. We really did have the best time !! Raymond and our driver were fantastic. Raymond was very knowledge of Switzerland and gave us lots of information about all the little towns and the alps !! Thank you Raymond !! You truly did make the experience even better. We have amazing memories and photos to last a life time.
The tour bus consisted of 4 different tour groups with 1 guide. We were first asked if we'd like to upgrade to go to the Top of Europe tour, which is about 125 Euro extra. We did not. Here is the review going by the itinerary. First stop, Interlaken -- On our way going to Interlaken, there are many beautiful scenes to photograph, but we did not get a chance to stop to take any pictures, not even for 5 minutes. We were then dropped off at Interlaken for 20 minutes to use the bathroom. It's a beautiful city which we wished we had more time to walk around. Then, Lauterbrunnen -- done as stated. Then, Kleine Scheidegg -- this is basically a skii resort. This place had 2 restaurants and basically everyone's skiing/snowboarding. Because the tour bus consisted of different "tiers" of tourist, we were given a verbal directions along with a piece of paper on how we could travel down from the skii resort ON OUR OWN to a meet up point. We were given 4 hours here. THERE IS LITERALLY NOTHING TO DO HERE if you're not snowboarding/skiing. You can take photo for 10 minutes. Then, Grindelwald -- a cute little two blocks that you can eat, drink and browse while you wait for the other tier groups to finish up their "Top of Europe" tour. We were given directions to meet up at the parking lot of a hotel only to find out that the bus would take us back to the bottom of the skii resort, which is about 10 minus from Grindelwald to pick up everyone else. Overall, this felt like a very expensive car ride to a skii resort. We had too many hours at a skii resort and too many different tours within 1 bus/guide. We were basically self guided majority of the time.
Traveling through the villages through the Alps and the Gondola ride down. The snow covered mountains and waterfalls ands just how green the landscape was dotted with cute house and lots of cows. Our tour was basically a bus ride plus train ticket while we were o our own to explore which was definitely preferable.
Sceneries and places are very beautiful. Guide was very good gave clear instructions (his accent maybe slightly difficult to understand for some but we didnt have any problems). I definitely recommend this trip. We did the Wengen, Klein Scheidegg train tour, dod not go to the top.
Would not recommend this tour if you can call it that. I had checked previous reviews and understood that this tour did not go to the top of jungfrau, and we were ok with that. We underestimated how poor of a communicator the guide who goes by the name “KID” was. We were dropped off in Lauterbrunnen with a train ticket and minimal instructions on what to do. He never told us that we could get back to Grindlewsld from Eiger by cable car, that takes only 15 minutes. The focus was on trying to get us and others to upgrade to the top of Jungfrau, for which KID wanted a supplement of 125 CHF, that had to be paid in cash. For four people, that’s a lot of cash, and when asked if we could pay by credit card, we were told “you don’t go if you don’t have the cash.” This guide is combative, arrogant and frankly should be removed from any service oriented business. Looking at his past reviews dating back to 2015, I am shocked that Gray Line tours still keeps him around. He is doing more damage than good. We take a lot of Viator tours, but this is one that we will not recommend because of the guide. To end on a positive note, the scenery is amazing.
Driver was awesome, but tour guide (name Kid) was rude, bossy, and generally obnoxious! No food or coffee on bus was not made clear in literature, and I came with $15 worth of coffee.
This tour was truly amazing and exceeded my expectations. Great weather, blue skies, and all the perfect conditions for a great adventure. Our tour guide Kid is a lovely person and made our day very special. We had a great day trip exploring Switzerland, going to the top of Europe, and having a lot of fun. Kid provided a lot of information about the region and takes a lot of photos for your customers. I will recommend this tour to my family and friends.
The bus and itinerary were fine. We did not know there were actually three options for this trip and only learned of this once we boarded the bus and were about to depart Zurich. This lead to some confusion on our part but we managed to see and do what we had expected once we arrived at the town after Interlocken and set out on our own.
First ofc let me say this tour does not take you to Jungfrau. You have to pay the tour operator an additional 172CHF in cash to have that experience. What you get is to be taken half way, given a train ticket to explore on your own and then meet to bus at the end of the day. My tour today was one of the worst I've ever had with Viator. The tour guide was extremely unfriendly and micro-aggressive towards me the entire trip and even went as far as leaving me in the way back, even though I was on-time, he saw me approaching the bus and I called him several times. After the 3rd call he finally answered and returned. He never apologized or said anything to me. I was the only black person on this tour. He was kind to everyone else, waited for others who were late at other stops. I have done tours with you over the years in multiple countries. I have NEVER experienced this before with any vitor operator. And additionally, he took the time to learn other's names, addressed then as dear and sweetie but I was so beneath him that all he could muster up to call me was "lady".
Exotic location and amazing experience. Must see places. Very nicely arranged tour with good guide and driver. Fantastic experience
It’s more than I have expected, the beauty and wonder of the Swiss alps can’t be described in words, it should be seen and felt.
It's was a nice tour.although we were alone at eager and kleain shidegg without guide, we enjoyed and occupied ourself with snow boarding ,goin to restaurants and visiting shops around..the tour guide kid was informative and he answered his phone during my queries ..Good option for family with younger kids compared to top of Europe ...
While this was a nice excursion, it wasn’t clearly stated in the write up that it cost extra to go all the way to the “Top of Europe”. We made the best of our time. What we didn’t appreciate was the strong sales pitch and push to get us to pay more.
The description listed does not match the actual tour. The tour we booked was literally just the tour guide and driver dropping you off in a city which all of the stores were not open. The tour guide said he was concerned about the families who don’t “upgrade” their tour to go to the top of the mountain. We paid an additional $120 per adult to get the “tour”. Every second of this tour was rushed and the tour guide was extremely rude. When we reached our destination, the tour guide was supposed to show us where to go however he was way too fast and rushed everywhere. It was extremely hard to try to keep up especially with the elevation it takes a minute to catch your breath. The mountain was beautiful and once my family and I figured out how to get everywhere we had a great time. When the tour ended we were not brought back to the same place we were picked up from. I recommend the destination but not the tour company.
Great tour with kid, pretty rad tour guide. Great information, expensive trip but well worth it! I would suggest bringing food, as some places don’t have it, or it may be expensive.
It's amazing on top of the glaziers. Unforgettable scenaris. Guid call KID help to maximise the value for money
Everything.😍 The tour guide is entertaining. The experience was so surreal. The panoramic view is so wonderful!
We had a great trip. All was wonderful, one of the most remarkable days we will ever remember. our tour guide was very helpful, Raymond. The views were amazing and so were the towns that we visited. We recommend this tour to everybody visiting. Thanks a lot.
Barbara was very knowledgeable during the whole trip it was nice to hear history about each small town we passed through. I decided to go straight to Grindelwald and go up Mount First to the Cliff Walk, it was easily the best view of the Swiss Alps, incorporating the mountains and snow and the small towns down below. I would definitely recommend this tour and what I did and also bring sunglasses.
It was a very good trip. Blue sky and sun in February helped. The guide and coach driver were both first class as were the views and the train ride up the mountain. The stop in Interlaken however was a bit rushed. For us the only issue was the amount of time we spent in Grindelwald. A beautiful small town but perhaps only needed 2 hours max including lunch.
11,333 ft above sea level. I did not think I could adapt to the altitude, but the help of our "super guide" Kid B. who kept encouraging me, I adjusted. The tour stays for 2 hours, where you have free time. Let me say most people adjust quickly with no problems. We had a wonderful lunch.(not included in price. There are other Dining options. Train ride up the mountain was beautiful. A wonderful clear day. Cute a little towns covered the area.
My Wife and I enjoyed this wonderful tours as a gift of the mother Nature, Trip was good, the guide very descriptive and nice. every part of this tour is admirable, villages, alps, we like to back.
Beautiful views and electric cog trains to the glacier. No cars in sentence on the way up. 007 film wars there
In this trip the guide will buy the train tickets and leave you alone. So it is not a tour anyone can do it on his expense. Viator should inform before booking.

Amazing trip to the Jungfrau Glacier Panaroma View at the snow village of Kline Schidegg. We enjoyed a special day in the Alps and had the picture perfect ski village experience. My only small recommendation is to make it clear when booking that you don't go all the way to the top as I expected when I booked the trip. In our case it all worked out great, however, on the day of the trip, we didn't realize we were not going all the way to the top. Perhaps adding a line in the day trip description clearly stating that this tour does not go to the top might be helpful for those planning a future trip. Otherwise, it was picture perfect.

The tour was amazing. We had a small group so our guide treated us well. We went up to the top and were very glad we did. It was cold outside up at the top but we loved it!

Overall, the tour was OK. The tour guide was pretty rude from the beginning. You have an opportunity to see views of the many lakes that are surrounding the Alps, but unless you are sitting on the right side of the bus and able to snap pictures within 5 seconds while the bus is speeding through, you will not be able to capture it. There is no option to capture it on the return trip because it is after dark. The tour company should consider at least a 10-15 minute stop to allow for tourists to take photos of the lake and mountains. If you are opting to do this tour without the Top of Europe option, you will have a chance to explore 3 different areas. The first stop is one step above snoozeville. The train only leaves once an hour, so after you force yourself to walk around the small town and take as many repetitive photos as possible, it is time to go! The next stop is where you will see the panoramic view of the mountains. It is BEAUTIFUL! There is a restaurant there, but be prepared to have to pay with your firstborn child because the prices are that outrageous! If you are interested in skiing, this is where you could take advantage of it because you will have plenty of time if you manage your time smartly. The final stop is another snoozeville. I opted to hike through the glacier town. Clearly, my idea of seeing glaciers was different from what this town had to offer. There are plenty of shops if you are interested in that. Plenty of restaurants. The town itself is pretty quiet. I'd recommend hiking through the town to waste time. You are given 6 hours of free time without a guide between the beginning of the tour to the final pick-up. I am glad that I got to see the Swiss Alps, but I would not recommend this tour and would not do it again.

The tour itself was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it. Scenery was majestic. We didn't go to the top of Jungfrau but still had a really good time taking photos at Kleine Scheidegg. Our tour guide Kib was very passionate about photo taking and tries his best to help us take photos. However he was very blunt and strict about the boundary of his duties. During our time on the bus, I heard other tourist ask questions but Kib would not answer them but instead asked whether they read the brochure and walked away. Also he refused to talk to me and my family once we reached Kleine Scheidegg. As Kib didn't inform us whether our guided tour ended once we reach Kleine Scheidegg, we went up to him and asked whether we have any other activities. To our surprise, he responded rather rudely and said and I quote why you come ask me? what you do now is none of my business. I was not very pleased with the response.

We were in Switzerland for 6 days and this was our favourite day trip. The Swiss Alps are beautiful, the train ride up from Interlaken to Kleine Scheidegg was very scenic. We did not go all the way to the top and the people that did complained about the clouds and low visibility. We did have one issue where all of us that stayed behind didn't know where we had to be picked up, and our guide Thomas wasn't reachable by phone due to the mountains. Note: if you're looking for a place to eat lunch once you take the train down to Grindelwald, the food is much cheaper.

We would recommend this trip to everyone that wants to experience the mountain life of the swiss alps. Despite the day being at first rainy and overcast is was great. Hopping off at Wengen we wandered around this beautiful village obviously a very busy place during the ski season but serene and charming when we went. We then continued up the railway to Kleine Shendegg we couldn't go any higher due to the weather changed trains and went down to the village of Grindwald which was beautiful. The scenery throughout is a sight that needs to be seen, every turn you make is picture perfect. During the bus ride our guide, Kid, was very good, giving lots of information, pointing out great spots to take pictures and taking pictures of each of us as a momento. A1 tour

Our tour guide KID was a totally AWESOME guide, he knew where all the great picture places were, while keeping everyone highly energized like himself.
The scenery was awesome right from Interlaken to the top of Jungfrau and back down again.
It was well worth the cost of going to the top, the views from there were exquisite. A totally awesome day we will not ever forget.Thank you KID for putting all your heart into your job.
From Jim, party of four. October 25th. Tour.

This is my 2nd comment after arriving home last night!
Great sights - mountain do not miss
Just pick different trip operator to get there!
Us the office in rail station and ask if they make brief photo stops getting there!
Our tour guy was horrible -- really
I did tip him - I'm sure one of the few!
I usually just leave great reviews for every thing but -- this is a great tip for travelers

Initially we booked the Eiger Jungfrau panorama tour which leaves you with unguided free 4 hours at Wengen,Kleine schedeigg and Grindelwald, but at the last moment changed our minds and upgraded to the full 12 hour guided jungfrau experience tour and went up the mountain to the top of Europe and felt glad that we changed our plans,as the experience to the top of Europe was definitely worth more than what it costed. Our tour guide Kid organised the tour very well and made sure every attraction was covered and the punctuality was maintained,he also made sure that every individual gets a memory of the picturesque adventure by pointing the photo opportunities at the right time and he even took some priceless pics for everybody himself. This tour is ideal for people who fear heights, have vertigo or feel nauseated in rotating cable cars as this one takes to top of Europe without you having to take a single cable car.You complete the full journey in coach and trains, the first half is exploring the scenic beauty of interlaken with some shopping and refreshment opportunities and the second half is the beautiful unforgettable train journeys to the mountains. On the way to the mountains you have numerous photo opportunities wherein you capture snow clad mountains, car free villages, cattles with swiss bells, old houses.lakes and lush greenery. On top you have many adventures to witness like the sphinx, snow fun through the plateau, ice palace and alpine sensation.I would definitely recommend this tour as me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed it and are going to nurture and cherish the memories for the rest of our lives.

The area we were visiting was fogged in by misty clouds. The guide was good. However he encouraged us to upgrade to trip to top of Jungfrau. He should not have encouraged us knowing the weather forecast which we did not. We could not see a thing at the top. A call to the top would have been informative. This aside, the building was too commercialized and the inside was a zoo with hundreds of tourists inside vying for a lunch seat. The day would have been better spent staying with the first tour , wandering a charming Swiss mountain town looking up at the mountains and enjoying the splendor of the area rain or shine rather than fighting all the tourists in a cattle boat situation.

The tour was amazing , perfect .... But pse be noted this is NON guided , we were only given the train ticket from wengen - mountain - grindelwald .Trust me Do NOT take the extension tour to Jungfraug as the tour guide (Kid) suggested as it means u only see the mountain without explore the village

Great tour and great day. Just enough time with the guide and a good bit of free time which was welcomed. It is what you want from a tour in the Alps. Get me there, tell me how to get around and then tell me where I need to be to return.

Amazing! I would recommend taking the Eiger-Jungfrau tour for a small group of younger adults who want to explore. We had 5 hours to manage on our own between 3 towns and plenty of time to eat lunch, hike, explore. The top of the mountain tour seemed too structured, and it seems that most of your time would be spent on trains and only on the top of that mountain. We were the only 2 people out of 60 people who did not do the top of the mountain tour and we definitely had more fun after listening to the stories of the group when we met back up.

The tour is a high end service!
We love our tour guide and the bus driver!
The tour guide is very professional and knowledgeable.
We upgraded our tour to go to the top of Europe, an unforgettable experience!

Trip was fantastic gorgeous view on the way up by train. Unfortunately was snowing heavily at top of mountain unable to step out for picture taking. Highly recommended.

It was an amazing trip from Zurich to Jungfrau. We upgraded to include the the highest level. It is a beautiful day trip when u r surrounded by timeless beauty of the Alps.Thoroughly enjoyed it.
