As an opportunity to visit all 4 countries as part of a small group tour in one day which included Lichtenstein was what caught our interest. This tour included included a historic church visit, a castle tour, an opportunity to walk the streets of a vibrant village briefly in Lichtenstein. This was a full day and the fall weather and modest crowds made it ideal. Our guide was new and he was enthusiastic and patient with sharing highlights of each location and we enjoyed a pretzel along the way. 8 adults in a small van for long periods of driving was uncomfortable the driver's speaker was not clear Country side beautiful to see Rine Falls amazing but the usual free churches small town walks this trip could be much better needs a huge up grade

We really enjoyed, wished the stop in Austria was different as the Castle was so underwhelming but our guide John was friendly & great

The small group structure was just right for exploring the four countries. The pace was excellent and the sites amazing. Our guide was outstanding and took the time to allow us understanding and time to explore. Wonderful way to quickly see the four countries in their beauty.

Spent a wonderful day on our 4 countries in one day tour. From the magnificent Rhine Falls in Switzerland, the gorgeous churches in Germany, and the awe-inspiring castles in Austria and Lichtenstein, our day was spent with our wonderful, knowledgeable driver Matias, taking in all the breathtaking views.

We had a great tour with Matias! Matias was knowledgeable, warm, and filled with both fun and interesting quips as well as the best places to take photos. We had an excellent small group as well.

Long day so be prepared. Lots of things to see and learn, loved the experience. Matias our guide was great.

I really enjoyed this excursion. I loved the small group size- kept us nimble. I loved Rheinfall- we took a 15 minute boat ride right up to the falls. You might feel some mist at the front of the boat. Boat turns to get great views from all angles. Next was Konstanz. I liked having free time here- I was able to go see Rheintortum- the medieval gate on the Rhine. Really beautiful city, lots of shops and things to see. Next was Feldkirch, and the Schattenburg Castle. This was a beautiful castle. We didn’t really have time to see anything else in the area. Last stop was Vaduz. This is the stop I was most looking forward to, and was told we only had 30 minutes. This is my main disappointment in this excursion. I would have loved more time here. It might have been nice to have a little more commentary on the tour overall, but I get it- it’s a long day of exploring! It truly was incredible to visit 4 countries in one day.

Matias was an outstanding driver: warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating. He struck the perfect balance between sharing fascinating information and leaving quiet time to simply take in the scenery. Every stop was well chosen, and the drives between countries were never more than 60 to 90 minutes, so the day flew by. Seeing four countries in a single day felt effortless thanks to him. Wonderful tour that gives you a taste of four countries. A highlight was the lake in Konstanz and the Shattenburg castle. Beautiful weather and scenery.

I hesitate among several tours. The allure of visiting 3 other countries in one day seems interesting to me. But it does mean that we would spend quite a bit of time in the van. Our guide Mattias was friendly and attentive. He knows when to be hand off and let us explore. He manages the itinerary well. He took care of all the museum entrance fees. Getting us a pretzel as we arrived in Konstanz was a very nice touch. Out of the 4 destinations, I like Rheinfall and Konstanz the best. I also like the pit stop we did on our way back and capture magnificent views. The van was very comfortable in great condition (almost feel like new) and spacious. In my opinion, Small group tour is definitely the best way to do tour. I will use Switzerland Viva tour again for other excursions.

What a great 4-country day tour in small group. The pickup was just at the hotel where we stayed. The guided tour was excellent on discovering different cultures and landscapes arose 4 countries. We even had an extra stop at a beautiful scenic lake.

My brother-in-law booked the day trip for us out of Zurich. The hotel pickup was really convenient. Our small group consisted of 7 people plus our guide (Matias). Matias was fantastic. He is Argentinian and spoke excellent English and Spanish. One of the couples on the tour was from Portugal and spoke primarily Spanish. We truly visited 4 countries in our 10 hour day. For each stop, Matias was able to interesting history and facts about the countries, cities, and sites we visited. He provided excellent options for lunch. He also threw in a 5th stop on our way back to Zurich. It had amazing vistas making it a great photo stop. The vehicle we traveled in was full but quite comfortable for the 7 of us. We always felt safe while traveling. I’d highly recommend the tour (especially if you can get Matias as your guide).

There was a lot of time driving. 2 hours drive time for about an hour visit time. Very nice guide and knowledgeable when we asked questions, however we did not learn much about the country or the cities , the people, the culture. The value for the money was not there. It’s was more about going to 4 countries vs experiencing and exploring four countries

This is a buck list tour. The stops at the Rhine Falls, Lindau Germany, Austria and Vaduz Lichtenstein were once in a lifetime all in 1 day. John was our tour guide and great. He was so accomodating and answered every question clearly. I gave the tour a very good--HOWEVER be aware we were crammed into a tiny van. The front middle seat is not designed for a normal size adult. It is unsuitable for a 12 hour tour. That was my only complaint.

Our group packed a lot into a 10-hour day. The country visits were well-paced and enjoyable. John's calm and easy-going demeanor made it easy to engage with him and ask questions. Although we all brought our passports, we didn't end up showing them at any borders. We did a ton of walking, with a significant portion being uphill, so I would keep this in mind for anyone with mobility issues. This tour is a great way to visit four countries in a short window, and I highly recommend it.

This is an amazing way to see 4 countries in one day, our guide, John, was very knowledgeable, read the group well, we got amazing photos, time for a local lunch, the drive isn’t too long, you get a chance to see some beautiful towns and scenery in just one day. Definitely worth it if you only have one day! Oh, and you also get your passport stamped which is so rare these days!

You get to experience quick visits to all the different countries in one day. You can take a few pictures of each country and grab a snack or lunch. If you want to take a break from all the walking and have someone drive you around in a nice air-conditioned van and you do not mind a quick visit, then this is the tour for you. You will be picked up at your hotel and dropped off there too. You will get to see Rhine Falls and do a short boat ride to get up close. Have a quick lunch in Germany and walk through some nice churches, buildings and shops. Have dessert in Austria and then cross the border to have your passport stamped at Liechtenstein. Would have loved to stay another half hour in all those places but then it will not fit the day tour. Overall fun experience.

Matthias was a great guide on this fast paced tour. You don’t get much time at the location. Half the day is spent in the vehicle traveling from site to site. Definitely not worth the $430 USD

It is a full day packed with culture, history, natural beauty and good comradery.

The trip to all the countries is very nice and scenic. The trip itself is definitely over priced. Matias is a great tour guide and did his job and explained places and history well but to pay $900 for 2 people was very pricey for what was involved.

I enjoyed the concept of this tour more than the tour itself. If you want you be able to say that you visited four countries in one day, this is the tour for you! However, I need to be honest in my review because I book tours based on reviews, and I appreciate honesty and candidness. The tour advertises hotel pickup. Be aware that if you are staying in some parts of Old Town Zurich that the van will not be able to pick you up at your hotel because of local restrictions. We had to walk 5-10 minutes to a pick up location. The tour guides arrived promptly and were friendly. The two guides were nice, but were not very informative. As we began our day they told us that we would visit Rhine Falls, Germany, Austria, and finish in Liechtenstein. They also told us to ask them anything and they would answer. That part was true, but if we didn’t ask, we didn’t really get much info. I have gone on a lot of tours, and most tour guides give you information when you arrive at a destination. For example, when we arrived in Germany the guides got out of the car without saying anything and we followed them into a church without them telling us where we were going, any significance of the church, or a time frame for being in the church. We then exited and followed them into a church across the street again without any information. We left the second church and followed them onto the street. I had no clue what we were doing, so I asked them if we were supposed to be following them. They stopped at a store and told us to wait outside and the 6 people on the tour were clueless. They emerged with a bag of soft pretzels, one for each of us. They were delicious, but the timing wasn’t great because after giving us a big dough pretzel, they told us it was time on our own to go find lunch. I wasn’t hungry… In Austria they brought us to a restaurant and ordered cake for us to eat without considering allergies or dietary restrictions. One of the members of my group is diabetic and cannot eat cake. I don’t want to completely knock this tour because I did get to see and experience things that I wouldn’t have been able to do on my own in one day, but the guides should provide more direction and details. That one improvement would make this trip so much better. The highlights of the day for me were visiting Rhine Falls and Liechtenstein. Lastly, the tour operator had very good communication prior to the tour.

Tour was fine. Just very short time in each location. Lots to see, but felt rushed. It was an expensive tour. Over $900. Sat in the back seat of a passenger van so it was very hard to see the incredible scenery along the way. Our guide was very good. But if you can’t see what he is pointing out…for this kind of money it came up a little short. The sell point here was four countries in one day. That did happen. But spent so little time in each and add the lack of ability to see scenery caused this tour to come up short for us.

The guide, Ben, was top notch. The tour was fine but the time spent in each location was very short. Too short. This was an expensive tour. Over $900 for two of us. The tour was in a passenger van. The visibility from the back seat was very limited. The scenery was incredible but honestly we missed most of it because of limited visibility from the back seat. While it was small group, not seeing the beautiful countryside was not ideal. And the selling point was four countries in one day. We did that. But the time spent at each stop seemed short for that price tag. To me it was worth about half what we paid. Again, the guide was great. But felt like we missed a lot.

Was in Zurich a couple days early waiting for my Train tour and decided on this for something to do. My booked date was moved back a day due to issues with the minimum number of people going, but the offer to change dates was communicated to me and the switch in days was made easier. Tour started with a pickup right in front of my hotel. There were a total of 6 of us on the tour and Ben was an excellent guide. He provided commentary and information about the sites and locations when needed without being overbearing. 3 of the 4 sites were a lot of fun and I'm definitely glad I took this tour. The one exception was the stop in Austria. There wasn't much there with the exception of checking the Austria travel block off if you hadn't been there. Rhine Falls and Lichtenstein were the highlights of the rip for me.

We love exploring new places so when planning our Switzerland holiday, this tour jumped out at us. It was a great chance to visit multiple countries, each was a very pretty smaller town, none of which where overcrowded which made it even more enjoyable. Ben was our guide for the day, he was friendly, knowledgeable and had a lovely air-con van.
