Sorell Hotel St. Peter

We stayed at this hotel when we visited Zurich for the first time. We arrived early in the morning and the staff at the front desk helped us check in ~10:30am while the regular check-in time is 3pm, which was extremely helpful after an overnight flight. The receptionists always guided us on the public transportation information and the recommendations on the sight-seeing, esp. William. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the gentleman serving us was very respectful and accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and would love to go back.

Warning: Do not stay here in the summer! Despite what the website says they do not have air conditioning! Expect your room to be 5 degrees hotter than outside. Also you can't open your window on any of the interior rooms because the courtyard is where all the smokers go. The hotel itself is styled like a Hampton Inn, the rooms are small and the beds are uncomfortable. The staff was unhelpful and they will try to add additional taxes to your bill when you go to check out. The only good thing about the hotel is the location.

I had an amazing experience during my first stay at this hotel. The service was truly impeccable, especially thanks to Alena ❤️. The staff are exceptionally well-trained and genuinely warm and caring people. I was so touched by the thoughtful birthday surprise waiting for me upon arrival. The room was spotless, and the breakfast was absolutely fabulous. I would definitely love to come back again in the future.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They let me check in early and even called me when the room was ready so I could come back from my sightseeing. The room was perfect with many amenities available. I loved having a patio as well. The location is great and all the staff were very professional. I also enjoyed the breakfast. This hotel set a high standard for the rest of my trip.
