Neues Schloss Privat Hotel Zurich, Autograph Collection

I had a pleasant stay at Neues Schloss Privat Hotel Zurich, part of Marriott's Autograph Collection. The hotel has a unique boutique atmosphere, combining modern design with the charm of a historic Art Deco building. One of its biggest advantages is definitely the location. It's just a short walk from Lake Zurich, and the Old Town, Bahnhofstrasse, restaurants, and shopping areas are all within walking distance. Public transportation is also convenient, with tram and bus stops approximately 6 minutes away on foot, making it easy to explore the city. As part of the Autograph Collection, the hotel focuses on offering a distinctive experience rather than the typical large-chain hotel atmosphere. One interesting concept is Mr. Castellan, the hotel's signature concierge experience, which emphasizes personalized service, thoughtful recommendations, and small surprises to make guests feel special. However, considering that this is officially a five-star hotel, I feel that it still lacks quite a few amenities compared to other hotels in the same category. There is no full fitness center or spa directly inside the property, although guests can access a nearby partner facility. For a five-star hotel, I would personally expect more on-site facilities and additional conveniences, especially given the price. That being said, the hotel offers a cozy and intimate environment, which can be appealing to travelers who prefer smaller boutique properties over large luxury hotels. Overall, I would recommend this hotel mainly for its excellent location, stylish atmosphere, and boutique character. It's a nice option for exploring Zurich, but if you're expecting a traditional five-star experience with extensive facilities, it might fall a little short of your expectations.

I had such a wonderful stay at Neues Schloss and cannot say enough about the incredible management and staff. From beginning to end, everyone was exceptionally friendly, accommodating, attentive, and genuinely kind. The level of hospitality here really stood out to me you can tell the hotel is extremely well managed, and every member of the team knows how to make guests feel welcomed and taken care of. The cleanliness was also outstanding. truly top marks. Everything throughout the hotel felt immaculate and very well maintained. The location is incredibly convenient for exploring Zurich while still feeling comfortable and peaceful. What I’ll remember most, though, is the people. The management and staff went above and beyond throughout my stay, and their warmth and professionalism made such a difference. It’s rare to encounter a team that is both so genuinely nice and so excellent at what they do. I would absolutely stay at Neues Schloss again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zurich!

What a wonderful experience! The service here is one of the best we’ve received while traveling across Switzerland. The rooms are very clean, and the hotel is in an amazing location. They also have a convenient parking spot right next to the hotel. What also made this stay special was the birthday celebration. The team went above and beyond to make it memorable. They signed a card and even brought a bottle of wine to help me celebrate my special day. I highly recommend this hotel in Zurich!

From the moment I arrived, the entire team made me feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to ensure I had a perfect stay. As they had availability, they were kind enough to offer me a complimentary early check-in and late check-out, which was incredibly helpful for my business trip and truly appreciated. The hotel itself is exceptional. The rooms are spacious, elegant, and very comfortable, the lobby is large and inviting, and there are several beautiful common areas where you can relax or work. Everything is modern, spotless, and maintained to the highest standards. One thing I especially want to mention is the air conditioning. During my stay, Zurich reached 39°C, yet the room remained perfectly cool and comfortable. Unlike many hotels in the city, the cooling system here works flawlessly, making a huge difference during the summer. A very special thank you to Mr. Castellan for his outstanding hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care. He and the entire team treated me with great respect and made me feel like a truly valued guest. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zurich, whether for business or leisure. Without a doubt, I will stay here again on my next visit.
