Tianmen Mountain(glass Walking Way) Day Tour

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Amazing Experience with Nina! Our experience visiting the Stairway to Heaven in China was unforgettable, and a huge part of that was our wonderful tour guide, Nina! She was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. Nina did an incredible job guiding us through the breathtaking scenery and making sure we felt comfortable and safe throughout the tour. She shared interesting information about the area and was always happy to help with photos and anything else we needed. The views were absolutely spectacular, but having Nina as our guide made the experience even more special. She truly went above and beyond to make our day memorable. I highly recommend Nina to anyone visiting the Stairway to Heaven in China. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sherry was a great guide! She was very knowledgeable about the mountain, and we had a great time chatting with her throughout the day. She’s funny and kind. We really enjoyed the glass walkway and walking the perimeter of the mountain. Sherry was great at assessing our ability levels before deciding whether to take the stairs or escalator. She also offered us snacks and was eager for us to learn about each other’s cultures. We definitely recommend this tour!

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our tour with Sunny! It was extremely helpful for Sunny to navigate us around the different paths of the mountain, the area is massive and we would certainly have missed key viewpoints without her. She also shared a lot modern and historical facts. Highly recommend booking this tour when visiting ZhangJiaJie!

Sunny was our tour guide: -she speaks very good English. -her and the driver were very punctual, and picked us up and dropped us off directly at hotel. -she was well informed about the mountain and local area history. -she was very nice, and very fun cheerful attitude, and very pleasant to spend the day with. -she took really good pictures of us. This was a very nice bonus. Highly recommend this tour! When we return to ZJJ, we will reach out to this tour company and to Sunny again!

For this tour we had Chris as our guide. He was very friendly and accommodating for us. Due to health issues, some of us were a bit slower then most travelers. He was quiet accommodating and seemed to know the best, less crowded route to take in the area. He was very knowledgeable. He offered to take lots of phots for us so we could all be in the picture. The company and Chris were kind enough to let us leave our luggage in the car while we took the tour so after our tour was done, he could drop us at the train station so we could continue on with our trip in China. It was a great tour and a great guide. Thanks again Chris for a memorable tour.

Today Chris made our day, the entire day was made easy thanks to him. He offered to buy us water when we didnt have wechat. He also helped organise my partner a power bank. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the tianmen mountain, including the Chinese peace tree, the music singer who live in a villa on the mountain and converted to Buddhism to the history of the buddha temple. He went above and beyond to take photos for us. He knew when to wait at certain places to wait for the clouds to disappear. He generally loves what he does and has so much passion to pass on his knowledge to tourists. Thankyou Chris for being the best tour guide I have had! You deserve a bonus.

Murphy was an super guide during our trip to Tianmen Mountain ("Heaven’s Gate"). From start to finish, he was patient and attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our group felt comfortable and enjoyed every moment. Thank you for an amazing adventure—we highly recommend him!

The experience was amazing. The day was very rainy as there was a typhoon but we made the most of it and enjoyed a lot. Murphy was the best guide! We talked to him, he explained everything and gave us time to rest and enjoy everything. He gave us advice very well on what to see and where to go, and on our way down, instead of waiting two hours, we came down walking there was no fog or rain and we enjoyed the wonderful views and landscapes. We definitely recommend the tour and doing it with Murphy, so grateful to him!

Tianmen Mountain is a must-see place in China there is nowhere else like it, the views are absolutely incredible. We did everything on the itinerary including the longest cable car up, the glass bridge, and heaven’s gate, which were all amazing providing stunning views. I was picked up and dropped off right at my hotel on time, and we were very lucky that the queues were not that long and moved quickly. It was a very smooth process and well organised. My tour guide Vicky bought all the tickets and waited for me outside the queues so I could just pay all together at the end. I had a wonderful time with Vicky on this half day tour of Tianmen Mountain. She was an extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly tour guide. She answered all my questions and ensured I knew where and when the next stops were so I was fully aware of the route. Her English is excellent and she is a brilliant photographer! She kindly took lots of great pictures of me so I have beautiful memories to look back on. Her passion for her town Zhangjiajie was really lovely and she made me feel very welcomed, and recommended other things for me to do. I would definitely recommend this tour, thank you so much Vicky!

We had a fantastic time with our tour guide Chris at Tianmen mountain. We were picked up from our hotel and brought to the cable car to bring us up the mountain. Chris made it so easy and guided us through the queues. When we got us, it was brilliant to have a tour guide to bring us all around and Chris provided us with loads of information and brought us to the key parts. He and his driver then kindly brought us to Furong Village after the tour, which was always amazing. Chris was absolutely fantastic, took so many amazing pictures for us and was very knowledgeable and kind. We would highly recommend this tour

Hands down one of best travel experiences i’ve ever had and one I’ll never forget. My guide, Lulu, was amazing. She knew her way all around the mountain, explained a vast amount of the history about it. She was a pleasure to talk to the entire time and helped me expand my Mandarin vocabulary. The first ride in the cable car up is a once in a lifetime experience and truly jaw dropping. The ledge walkways can be a bit unnerving at first, but you get used to them very quickly. Fortunately the weather was clear and the views from everywhere on the mountain were incredible. There is a Buddhist temple at the top that was very beautiful and I’d recommend spending some time there. In terms of logistics, Kelly was a great resource for my entire time in Zhangjiajie. I did the national forest and the glass bridge with her company as well. I would recommend her company to anyone traveling to Zhangjiajie!

Once in a very long while, you feel as though an experience has just changed your soul, forever. This is one of those experiences. Let's start from the beginning: My tour guide Sunny came to my hotel to pick me up at 9:30 in the morning. She was very courteous and very reassuring - the "reassuring" part is important because one needs to feel that his guide is well-experienced and well-informed, which Sunny very much was. Our driver took us to the cable car station where Sunny and I began our journey up the mountain. It was my first ever attempt to go up a mountain that high, and to say that it was exhilarating is stating the obvious. Also, there were quite a few stops to be made along the way, and every stop was a wonderful photo opportunities because the scenery was just extraordinary, literally out of this world. I won't give away all the details here, but if you think that famous cave (or "hole") in the middle of the mountain is quite a sight to behold (and it certainly was), I'll give you a little hint: that's just the beginning. More surprises await you! Forgive the cliche, but when we reached the top of the mountain, I did feel I WAS in heaven. We were well above the clouds. The irony was: I reached that place not so much by climbing, but mostly by escalators! I call that "going to heaven in comfort and in style" :)) Thanks to my guide Sunny, who in this case was also my superhero because I felt she rescued me many times, it was a hugely successful excursion of my wildest dream. Thank you, Sunny! To other fellow travellers: Please, take my advice. Do not attempt this without an experienced tour guide. This trip to Tianmen mountain is too important to be handled by the inexperienced.

Highly recommended and 5 stars service quality. We were a family of 5 people. The guide is very knowledgeable and super friendly. For what we pay, it was a Good value for thw great service. Pickup and drop off was well organised and also assisted us with other entry tickets. For those who don't speak Chinese, dont worry the driver/guide speaks perfect english. Definitely thumbs up and for sure will recommend to other family and friends for their trip to ZhangJiaJie.

Wonderful tour, it was a unique experience. Although it rained, we had a great day and the weather let us enjoy fantastic views. Murphy made the excursion very fun and interesting and left us time to go at our own pace and became interested in us.
