This was the best tour I've ever been on, and i've been on a fair amount in my lifetime. It not only has to do with the beauty of this part of China, but more to do with my amazing guide, Eva, who taught me a lot about the history and science of the areas we were visiting. Not only is she super intelligent, but she's also a wonderful human being and it was awesome spending three days with her. Also, the manager of this operation, Andy, was extremely helpful and stayed in contact with me throughout my tour and also helped me with some other transportation issues I was having. He also just answered many general questions I had. I highly recommend you to visit this part of China.
This was a great experience! Vicky Liu was my tour guide and she was awesome, and always went above and beyond. She was very knowledgeable about each attraction and its history since she is a Zhangjiajie local. She was personable, and truly went above and beyond the tour. She gave me restaurant and activity recommendations within Wulingyuan for the evenings after, helped me book and interpret with my hotels massage parlor when i told her i wanted to try a foot massage, and helped facilitate securing me a driver the day after the tour since I'd need to get to the Zhangjiajie Railway station early the following morning (shout out to my driver since he woke up early to get me from Wulingyuan to the station). I strongly recommend this tour and Vicky herself! if you book this tour, youll have a lovely time in Zhangjiajie! Despite the weather not being the best for tianmen mountain or the glass bridge, Vicky made sure to let me know what to expect and try to get me in a position to see the best view/get the best picture.

We had a fantastic tour of Zhangjiajie and the Avatar Mountains with our guide, Zhenzhen. Everything was very well organized, and we always felt that we had the right amount of time to enjoy each place without feeling rushed. Zhenzhen was excellent throughout the whole experience. She spoke very good English, was friendly and knowledgeable, and helped us navigate the crowds and queues, which made a big difference in such busy attractions. She always made sure everything ran smoothly and that we could make the most of our time. Zhangjiajie is absolutely spectacular, and having Zhenzhen as our guide made the experience even better. We really enjoyed these days and would definitely recommend both the tour and Zhenzhen to anyone visiting the area!

Our 4-day Zhangjiajie trip was amazing and memorable thanks to our guide, Mira, and driver, Mr. Ding, who accommodated our family of six perfectly. They were flexible by quickly adjusting our schedule when dense fog rolled in or the Golden Whip Brook was closed due to flooding from the massive recent rain, ensuring we still got to see all of the famous tourist spots. The pacing was excellent for both our parents (60s/70s) and adult children (20s/30s). Mira knows the best photo spots and has a wealth of knowledge about the history and local traditions which provided a great experience based on our interests. Between Mira’s enthusiastic and helpful guiding in English and Mr. Ding’s comfortable and safe driving, our vacation was completely seamless and stress-free!
Aimee was our guide for the 3-4 day tour and she was great. Patient and allowed us to customize the tour however we wanted that day. She was very thoughtful and provided a cake and well wishes for my wife in her birthday, which she derived from our passports. Very unexpected but a testament to her service quality and attention to detail.
We had a wonderful tour with our private tour guide Amy who was really excellent. She met us the first morning at our hotel and organised all the transport and entry fees to all the major sites in the Zhangjiajie area. Although it is possible to do it yourself, having a personal tour guide is highly recommended as it meant we didn’t waste any time trying to look for the right shuttles to take or find the right entry queue to join so that the days were a much more efficient use of our time. Amy herself was very friendly and spoke excellent English and we greatly enjoyed her company. She was also very helpful in recommending restaurants we could try in the evenings after the tour was finished for the day. All in all an exceptional tour and one we would highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing! It is such a beautiful place to visit. It would have been impossible to organize and execute so much in 3 days with out the expertise of our tour guide Dora. She was so good to us. She catered to our every request and got to know our likes and then went out of her way to have what we liked before we asked

She was attentive, patient, and very detail-oriented throughout. The biggest “wow” moment: I lost my phone inside the park, and Nina handled the situation like a pro. I was truly thrilled with all the services provided during this 4-day trip. Even though our flights were full of surprises and we arrived one day later than planned, everything was reorganized quickly and smoothly. Highly recommend this wonderful 4 day value-for-money private tour - with the pick up and drop off options modified to meet our unique travelling circumstances and with the add-on of additional activities to meet our group's preferences. Looking through all the options in Zhangjiajie, it can be a bit overwhelming organising and arranging where to go over a few days. I ended up selecting this 4 day option since it met our timeframes and had received very positive reviews at a reasonable price - having a personal tour guide and driver dedicated for the entire tour. Andy was fantastic, where we started discussions about 3 weeks in advance of the booking, since there were some adjustments I wanted to make and some additional activities to cover off in our spare time. No request was too difficult and the pricing was transparent for the additional activities. We were also fortunate to be in the very capable hands of Arianna, our tour guide for the entire 4 day journey. Funny, knowledgeable, ready to adapt to the needs of our group each day (e.g. meal preferences, needing to sit down for a coffee to relax for a while, pacing etc), she was a delight and very ably helped us navigate where to go on each day, especially the different tracks and options to take through different parts of the national park. Throughout the 4 days, we learnt so much about Zhangjiajie, the local culture and had some amazing experiences. Request Arianna if you can! I booked this tour after researching Zhangjiajie online for my dad and I. What can I say… wow. Really there is little words to describe this experience. First to thank Jessie, our amazing guide. Nothing was too much for Jessie. We were greeted every morning with water bottles, many small touches that make a difference. This tour we felt was the perfect length, perfect pace and definitely enjoyed the private aspect of this tour. Things we liked about this trip : -#1 Jessie our host, she was an angel and felt like a friend. Her insights into Zhangjiajie were relevant and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, no over the robotic, rehearsed speech like tour. -Punctual and well organized -Incredible scenery ( truly unbelievable) It was truly a perfect trip, thank you 🇨🇳❤️🙏🥰

A complete tour of the highlights of Zhangjiajie, which made for a memorable trip. Our tour guide Rose was amazing throughout the trip and all accommodating through the changes in weather. She made for great company and was very informative at all the sights. Everything went smoothly from pick-up to drop-off, the VIP tickets were very helpful in skipping the crowds. We wouldn’t have been able to navigate through without Rose’s specialist knowledge!
Excellent service and transportation. Our guide, Jean, was the best. She listened to our interests and was able to arrange for us to get groceries, get us in to see a show (and came with us to intro to explain the stories) and even managed to schedule us for a traditional Chinese medicine treatment. She went well above and beyond.
Our experience was great. Our tourguide Max took our family of 4 (with 2 kids) through all highlights, showed us the best photo spots, lunch spots, viewing points…tried to avoid the crowds. We were very happy with his service! On the last day our kids received a small present from him, such a nice gesture !
The scenery was terrific albeit the huge crowds. Max is a wonderful guide who paid careful attention to all our needs. Including suggesting the perfect spots for photo ops, and answering every question we had with enthusiasm. He was also a great storyteller and filled us in on the rich history and mythical folk tales of all the landmarks we visited. He also surprised me with a birthday cake on the morning of my birthday, I was very touched by his kind gesture!
We had an excellent time with Vicky from Tour Zhangjiajie. Vicky grew up in the area. We couldn’t have done without her. We were a group of 5 with 4 people in their 60s and 70s, and Vicky was flexible and adjusted to our group’s needs. Vicky helped us navigate Zhangjiajie National Forest Park which is huge, and she helped us navigate Tianmen Mountain. She also helped us get good tickets to an amazing evening show featuring the area’s local tribe and its culture.
We love our guide Vicky and driver Mr. Yen. We are a group of 5 with 4 people in their 60s and 70s. Vicky was very patient and flexible, taking in everyone's needs and then expertly determining the best way to navigate Zhangjiajie's sights. I highly recommend her and her company, as we wouldn't have been able to figure out Zhangjiajie on our own (or we likely would've wasted several hours queueing or trying to figure everything out).
We were contacted right away by Andy when we first booked this tour, which put us at ease. Ronan, our tour guide, was waiting for us along with our driver when we arrived in Zhangjiajie on the first day. From start to finish, we were always escorted and very well taken care of. The VIP ticket for the Bailong elevator was well worth it, as it helped us bypass a really long lineup. Judging by all the confused looks on some other travellers' faces that we passed by, we knew that we had made a really good choice to have a guide by our side and we saw so many more areas that had few tourists...it was just perfect to have our own tour in such a beautiful, magical place. We never had to worry about anything during this trip, and Ronan was always so friendly, warm, and full of interesting information about the local people and culture. She was also very accommodating and we were free to spend more or less time in all the different places that we visited. Our driver was also great and he was very flexible in picking us up in downtown Zhangjiajie on the last day of our tour. All in all, I would highly recommend this tour and it is great for non Chinese speaking tourists Seriously do yourself a favour and book this tour, because it is not easy to navigate through the MANY buses and ticket gates that you need to get through all the key locations!
This tour was amazing! It hit all the main spots and had spectacular views after spectacular views. The tour included Zhangjiajie, Canyon, Dragon Caves, Tiamen Mountain, Heaven’s Gate, and Golden Brook stream walk. I highly recommend that you request Vicky. She was super flexible and added scenic spots to the tour even though they took over an extra hour. After the tours she drove us to lunch places and helped us order. Vicky also gave us great advice on evening activities, such as the Xiang Xi/ Fairy Fox Shows and 71 Stilted Qilou building.

I book a private tour and it was worth every single cent. Firstly, Andy was simple great. He was really good in arranging everything. His response to my inquiries was very prompt, quick and helpful. He also gave numerous suggestions depending on your preference. He made it very easy to communicate and change last minute plans. Chandler was my guide and he was an excellent. I truly enjoyed my 3 days with him. His English was really good and he navigated the places easily. After one day Chandler knew exactly what I enjoyed doing and suggested more ideas as to how to make the trip more fun and interesting. He also took me to places where there were not many tourists and the best spots for taking photos. He is someone cool to enjoy a conversation regards to life and other things. We booked a 8D7N tour with Andy. The itinerary was very well organised with good pace - not too rush nor overloaded. Andy had been great and very pleasant to deal with - very responsive, helpful and flexible, catering to our specific requests. Our chinese speaking tour guide, Ah Jun was also a delight to be with - always cheerful and tuned up ahead of time. He quickly learnt each of our preferences in terms of food, sightseeing spots, historical background, etc. Overall, we truly enjoyed our maiden trip to Hunan. The experience is magnificent. The views and the sights where magical. The tour office arranged it perfectly with our great tour guide Ann whose English was great as well as a very professional driver with a superbly comfortable van just for the two of us. Ann spoke excellent English and she was very helpfull in arranging everything we needed: tickets, VIP access, time and hussle reduction wherever possible as well as lunch. She provided excellent info on all the points of interest that we visited and she assisted in taking pictures and creating memories. Additionally she participated with us in our activities, be it rock-climbing or night out in Feng Huan. She also helped a lot with a little bit on medical inconvience we had. My girlfriend and Ann sung together in Chinese as well!. In Feng Huan she showed us to to all the museums and point of interest and gave us excellent backgorund stories on all of them. Over all we wish we could do it again.
Our trip with Jason was simply amazing, not only is he a great english speaker but also knows secret places. He became part of the group, has lots of patience and supported us with our requests. Recommended all the way!

Excellent service from the moment I reserved tickets to the end of our trip. I asked for a Chinese speaking guide, as I went with my Chinese-speaking parents, and we were immediately accommodated. Our guide, Feng, was very friendly, knowledgeable, flexible, and took excellent care of us. I am not completely fluent in Mandarin, but Feng was very patient with me and understood when I asked in Cantonese as well. My parents thoroughly enjoyed talking to her as well, and we learned a lot about Zhangjiajie's history, as well as the culture there. She was willing to answer our many questions about the Tujia (Miao) ethnic minority that she is a part of. Both my parents and I are very satisfied and grateful for Feng and her flexibility too - she helped us book tickets to a show late in the evening one night (after tour hours) because we expressed interest while walking by, changed some food orders since my mother cannot eat much of the spicy Hunan food, and took great care of us from arrival to departure when we had some scheduling issues with our train. Overall, I highly appreciate and recommend this tour, and specifically our tour guide Feng.
We booked a private tour with Tour-Zhangjiajie because we have a large group with two elders and a toddler. Travel agent Andy and tour guide Ah Jun went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Andy is an excellent communicator. He responded promptly and ensure our journey was pleasant and well organized. He also helped us settled our bullet train tickets, which was much appreciated! Ah Jun was not only caring and attentive; he planned the routes that would avoid the crowds while made them easier for the elders. He also recommended the young adults in our group to take the zip line and slides while he accompanied our elderly parents. The zip line was fun and we had a blast! Overall, we had a wonderful experience in ZJJ. ZJJ has amazing scenery that's unique to the world. We would definitely recommend tour-ZJJ to our friends. We had a wonderful 4 days / 3 nights in Zhangjiajie thanks to Andy, Ronan and all the drivers. Once we booked our flights, Andy helped recommend hotels for our stay. He also quickly answered any questions we had before we arrived in China. A day before our tour, Andy gave us the pick up details and Ronan’s (our tour guide) contact info. Although we arrived late at night we still received a warm welcome from Ronan and the driver at the airport. Due to the rain and fog, Ronan made adjustments to our itinerary to ensure we don’t miss any sights. On the 1st day we went to Baofeng Lake, Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, zip line, slides and walk at the bottom of the canyon. Because of the weather, Andy and Ronan booked extra cable car and elevator tickets (with no extra charge) for our 3rd day in case we missed the Avatar mountain. Luckily there were moments the fog cleared so we saw all the beautiful sceneries on our 2nd day. On the final day we went to Tianmen Mountain to see Heavens Door, Tianmenshan Temple, walk along the skywalk and take the cable cars. Ronan was warm, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. She taught us a lot about Chinese culture and Zhangjiajie and was able to cater the itinerary to our preferences. She also has awesome photography skills and knows great scenic spots 😊 Thanks everyone for the memorable experience!

Tour guide Jason gave us a good few laughs and some interesting background stories about the beautiful mountains. He gave us nice recommendations for restaurants taking in account our diets and preferences. All rides to and from the places were taken care of, the only small comment we would make was sometimes we needed to hurry to make it to other places. Andy is really helpful as well. Zhangjiajie tour is a must see for travelers!
Jason was our tour guide . The tour guide that had passion , motivation,very friendly,caring And funny. He speaks very good English, told us a lot of local stories . I believe some are true, some may not 😅 He tried his best to arranged the best schedule and routes for us (age 50+ group ) these 4days ware the most memorable time . We all miss you Jason!
The overall trip was pleasant, our guide Chandler was a recommended guide. He's very friendly with all of us and love to play with our kids. Not only he told us the story of the places we visit but he also shared with us the history of China. I'd recommend this trip to anyone who'd like to visit Zhang Jia Jie.
Our first trip to China in a while and we decided to go with Tour Zhangjiajie to see the famous Avatar Mountains. We spent a week with our guide David and driver Mr Luo exploring Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang. Both were warm and open - David shared his extensive knowledge about Hunan and helped us order food to our tastes while Mr Luo drove us carefully from place to place in a very comfortable car. We had authentic local experiences and stayed at nice boutique hotels. Our favourite was SULV Lianhua which was extremely elegant with great views of the river. Overall wonderful experiences and memories to keep, we look forward to our next visit to China!
It is a perfect tour for our family. Not too fast and not too slow. Very enjoyable. The view is really amazing in Zhangjiajie. From the time of booking, Andy is very helpful and thorough with the explanation. Our tour guide, Jason is very knowlegable and clear in explaining the itinerary and history of the scenic spots. He also personally take us to the town and explain about the local tea. Also helped us with booking cars and trains. We are really satisfied with the tour and will definitely recommend to our family and friends who’re visiting Zhangjiajie.
We had a very nice trip! Jason was very helpful and explained a lot about the history of Zhangjiajie (his English was perfect!). The hotel was okay (a bit old) and perhaps a little more initiative for suggestions outside of the tour would have been good as we were always finished quite early. But all in all, we were very happy with the tour!
