3-day Private Zhangjiajie In-depth Exploring Tour

My wife and I had three days at Zhangjiajie national park. The itinerary was spot on and very full. We enjoyed it tremendously not only because of the fantastic scenery but because our guide “Rain”, a sophisticated and charming young man made it truly enjoyable experience. He was very knowledgeable, very helpful and stayed with us well beyond the usual itinerary. He also helped us book a wonderful cultural theatre show and even escorted us to our seats to ensure we didn’t get lost. He herbed with some excellent restaurants suggestions. In addition to his impeccable manners and great wit he showed us the best photo spots. Essentially he made all the difference in making our trip fantastic. Thank you Rain

We had a wonderful time in Zhanjiajie. Jet, our guide, was fantastic. He asked us what we wanted and adjusted the itinerary to our wishes. He was a very pleasant guide. Thanks to him, we saw many beautiful natural places. The glass bridge was beautiful, but the walk along the river under the bridge is even more beautiful. The views in the Grand Canyon and the hike are indescribable. So beautiful… This trip is highly recommended. We love Zanghjiajie.

The whole tour was amazing. The service was excellent. Our tour guide (Jova) was outstanding. The lenght of the tour was just perfect. Two days would have been too short and four days would have been unnecessary. You should consider the possibility to include a visit to the 72 Wonders at night, and extend the visit to the Tianmen Mountain to include the escalators to the top of the mountain (it is really worth).

I just finished my 3-day Zhangjiajie trip with Lucy as my guide, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. I cannot recommend Lucy highly enough as an English-speaking tour guide for our three-day trip in Zhangjiajie. From the moment we met her, her warm, friendly smile immediately put our whole group at ease. Her English is perfectly fluent, which made every introduction easy and engaging to follow. She shared detailed stories about the local geology and culture that we would have never learned on our own, and always took extra time to answer all of our curious questions patiently. Words can't describe the three days my father and I had in Zhangjiajie thanks to this service. From landing at the airport a day before our tour started to being dropped off at the train station, this group handled everything, but not only that, our guide Jett is someone my father and I consider family. That's how much care he provides to his groups. Last-minute changes needed? No problem. Need recommendations for night activities or dinner? They got you. He knew all the routes to significant viewpoints and attractions, and you never have to lift a finger during your tour days. We would highly recommend this tour. We asked to make a few changes to the original itinerary, and these were accommodated without any issues. Our tour guide was Xingxi (we hope we’ve spelled her name correctly). She was incredibly passionate about her hometown and eager to share it with us. Throughout the tour, both in the car and on walks, she pointed out interesting details we would have otherwise missed. She also took beautiful photos of us and even made sure we had the best spots at popular tourist attractions, which we really appreciated. We saw some truly incredible places, and we’re so glad we chose this tour.

Emilia (叶佳欣) was absolutely the best tour guide!! Right from the start, she impressed us – waiting at the airport holding a sign with our names. She took us to amazing spots in Zhangjiajie, always full of enthusiasm, sharing tons of interesting info, and smiling constantly! We also explored the Avatar Hallelujah Mountain in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and rode the world's longest cable car to Heaven's Gate. With this tour we saw all that we wanted to see; the days are intense but you have a lot of time. For 3 days don't think for the tickets, the bus and the organization is nice. The driver was really good and super punctual, but the star was our guide: she knows all about the places, she speaks very well and she is super friendly. I really appreciate the info about the time of travel (bus, cablecar,...) and the snacks that she gives us from her bags (like Mary Poppins). She was also very helpful with a lot of advice for the evening. Super Tour, super locations and Super Team.

We recently completed a 4-day private tour of Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang Ancient Town with Jasmine as our guide, and it was truly a memorable journey! As an ethnic Miao, Jasmine provided detailed and captivating insights into the history of the tourist sites, as well as the culture of both the Tu and Miao peoples—the predominant minorities in Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang Ancient Town. Gaby, Venus and our driver were absolutely amazing and accommodating. We wouldn't have been able to see or do as much if it weren't for Gaby whilst at ZhangJiaJie and Tianmenshan. The hotels they booked for us were wonderful and well-located near all the scenic spots, so we could there early! I would highly recommend booking with this company and would gladly do it again on my next trip to China.

It was an amazing trip! Gabby our tour guide was the best. She was very informative, excellent at English and lots of fun to hang out with. The trip itself is very well organised with all the things covered including hotel, flights, itinerary and breakfast. I also really enjoyed that we were in a smaller group setting, instead of a big tour - giving us more autonomy and feeling less rushed. If you would like to go to ZJJ as a foreigner definitely book this tour, as it would’ve been difficult to get around and gain the full experience without a guide.

We had the most amazing three days in Zhangjiajie with Gabrielle (Gabi). Our trip to Zhangjiajie in China was absolutely fantastic, all thanks to Tibet Vista Tour and our outstanding guide, Lucky. The entire experience was smooth and well-organized, which allowed us to fully enjoy the breathtaking beauty and unique landscapes that Zhangjiajie has to offer. The famous towering sandstone pillars and surreal landscapes looked even more magical in person than in photos, and Lucky made the journey even more memorable.

Jasmine was absolutely amazing. She did such a wonderful job that Zhangjiajie not only us a gorgeous and beautiful place in itself but it made it to the heart this city. We were taken care off well. Possibly a bit too much luxury haha. To bring it back, it is a wonderful place and our tour guide Jasmine took it to the next level making our tour very comfortable and informative. She even went out her way to help us find something we were looking for in the local markets.

We visited Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang with our guide Gabrielle. The sites we visited were spectacular! Gabby was very professional, nice, fun and accommodating! She very patiently accommodated all the schedule changes (we traveled with 2 kids under 12) negotiated on our behalf (such as to ensure we all sit together on an overcrowded train). The kids adored her and we all still remember the wonderful time we had there. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing time in Zhangjiajie with my guide Grace! She was extremely knowledgeable about the area and was very committed to making my only day at the park memorable. It was raining on and off throughout the day, but I could barely even notice because I was so engaged talking with Grace out on the trail just learning about all of the intricacies and facts of the area. The Zhangjiajie site itself was somewhat foggy, but I would say that it added to the mystique of the place and made for some really nice pictures of the peaks when the fog cleared out. Toward the end of the day when the rain really started to pour down, she recommended we use the remaining time to beat the rain by going to get massages at a local spot since I had not done a Chinese massage yet in my time traveling through the country. When we finished that it was by chance that we ran into some of her other guide friends that were finishing their day and they all invited me to join them at dinner. It was a great way to meet locals and interact with them in an informal setting to learn more about the local culture and things that 30 year olds like myself do in Zhangjiajie. After dinner Grace invited me to join their group to play Mahjong (the tile game) with them and I absolutely would have if it weren't for my flight out later that evening. Overall, Grace showed me the hospitality of a local welcoming guests and, more importantly, a new friend that I now have in China-- so thank you very much Grace!

I had had a really time enjoying Zhangjiajie ⛰️, my tour guide was TIM 💚 and he has been very very kind everytime, patient and he really made my trip the best that I done in china, he was so puntual, organised, charismatic and always tried make my trip unique, he was excelent, has explained me a lot about the history of the park. We had a great time exploring Zhangjiajie on this trip. We got to see all the wonderfully jaw-dropping sights and were provided with insights each time. This place is absolutely breathtaking. I had a great time there. Ronan gave me a great tour, i highly recomend her as a tour guide, she knows a lot of interesting facts about the area and i had a great time talking with her during the tour.

Ronan is like a family member during the trip! We treated her like our own and zero ackwardness! She is just like my little sister and brought us through zhang jia jie and feng huang gu cheng using her knowledgeable and experiences. The nicest tour guide I have ever met! The view of Zhangjiajie is amazing and you just don't see it in any other place in the world. Look at the view with my own eyes are so much shocked than photos. The tour guide, Jane, even took us to some good restaurants to taste traditional Xiang cuisine and Tujia cuisine. The arrangement is flexible and perfect timing.

On our recent tour of Southern China we were mesmerized by the beauty of Zhangjiajie National park the inspiration for the first Avatar movie.The landscape is unbelievably stunning and has an archeological and geological value as well.The Tianmen mountain is a must see here in this lovely city and is a natural marvel that carries you to an unforgettable elevation among the clouds.Thank you Grace,our lovely Guide,your presence made a big difference to our visit to this wonderful place with your vast knowledge,caring ways and very practical guidance.Wherever we went we were showered with the warmth of the friendly and helpful people and we enjoyed the delicious dishes both in Hunan and Yunnan provinces as the spicy food reminded us the food back home.Hope to visit this wonderful place again someday!

I really enjoyed visiting Zhangjiajie, but having our tour guide Yan and our driver made a huge difference to getting a lot in for our short visit. She met us at the airport and smoothed things out at the hotel front desk after our late arrival. the next three days we had really good weather and Yan took good care of us through the whole day until we got back to our hotel at night. I was really glad she would come out to dinner with us and help us order really good food that I would have missed out on if I tried on my own. I met some other fellow travelers that where doing it on their own and they said they wasted a lot of time back tracking after getting lost or taking the wrong buses.

We had booked our Zhangziajie trip online for 3 days private group trip, without having any prior links or references. We were very much surprised by the professionalisim and keeping our groups likes in mind for the team. Venus was our personal guide, who received us at the airport at midnight and made sure that everything was sorted out for the next day. Her English was fairly good and she was knowledgeable. Over the next three days she took us to various places as planned in the itinerary including the national park, baelong lake, yellow dragon caves and Tianmen mountains. Most of our group needed vegetarian food, which was difficult to find (also a surprise was no Indian restaurant is the city); Venus took efforts to get some descent vegetarian options from the hotels we went. She was there with us till the final airport drop off. Overall a great trip and would recommend to anyone looking forward to visit the place.

Very good organization and communication with the agency; we changed the day of the visit since the weather was better on another day, and they managed it very well and efficiently, so thanks to that we enjoyed a clear day with views. A fantastic day in Zhangjiajie National Park with guide Ronan. 👌🌞😁 Ronan is great!!!💚🤎🩵💜 Humorous, funny, talks a lot, gives you time to enjoy everything, not stressful. She showed us beautiful and quiet places. She became like a good friend! This tour is highly recommended!

We arrived in Zhangjiajie on the night of Saturday before the Golden Week holiday. We stayed close to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (less than a 10-minute walk). This was the first attraction of the trip. After climbing the Bailong elevator, contemplating the pointy rocks, the canyons and the lush forest required some physical effort, but it was well worth it! Especially for the fans of Avatar! In the evening we attended a show at Charming Xiangxi Grand Theatre (extra activity indicated by Sally, our guide, not included in the package) after passing in the hotel for a short rest. A beautiful local folklore production, full of choreographies, stories and circus numbers, plus an immersive setting. On the second day we visited the Yellow Dragon Cave, Lake Baofeng and the glass bridge. The cave is huge! Very beautiful and interesting, full of stalactites and stalagmites of numerous formats. The lake, surrounded by rocks of the same formation as the forest park, deserves admiration. The glass bridge gives the visitor a beautiful view, but the late afternoon light did not help much in the photos taken on the glass floor. By the way, the floor is in need of polishing, as it is well scratched, despite the need to use pantyhose to walk on it. On the last day we took the world’s largest cable car and climbed 1280 m to reach Tianmen Mountain. From there you can have an amazing view of Zhangjiajie and contemplate the beautiful Gate of Heaven, a huge rocky arch that sharps the curiosity of anyone several kilometers away! Another day admiring beautiful landscapes. It might be a good idea to visit Tianmen Mountain on the last day of your trip, as it is close to the airport. Sally, our guide, was totally transparent and attentive, before and throughout the trip. Punctual, kind and always well-humored, made our experience in Zhangjiajie simple, convenient and extremely pleasant. The package included transfer from the airport to the hotel, transfer to the attractions and return to the airport in a very comfortable van. I recommend Zhangjiajie without hesitation! Nice place!
