1-day Private Zhangjiajie Tour To Avatar Mountain & Glass Bridge

We had a great day! Our guide Cara took us in some of the most beautiful places on earth. She was very attentive and friendly and gave us lots of local insides.

Hi my name is Colette, my husband John and I booked a private tour with Viator, Mike was our guide. What an amazing person, from the minute we were picked up at our hotel promptly at 8 am, we could immediately sence his magnetic energy. Mike was the best guide, he's timing in missing queues was amazing he knew exactly where we needed to be at what time to keep moving. He's an extremely well spoken intelligent person who's insight and knowledge of the region which included the history, landscape and its people gave us a deeper understanding and more enjoyable visit. All our tickets were managed, we didn't have to worry about entry or queuing for tickets, he made sure that we were very well taken care of. Mr O our driver was always on time for pick up, no waiting. Mike went above and beyond our expectations, he suggested a show we could watch which was close to our hotel and eventhough he's shift had ended, still arranged VIP tickets, walked us to the theatre, made sure we had easy access and walked us to our seats. NOW THAT IS EXCELLENT SERVICE !! I would recommend Viator and specifically MIKE as a guide. We had the most amazing experience with him. Thank you Mike, you have become a true friend of ours .

We had an absolutely amazing experience! The tour was fantastic, with breathtaking scenery, beautiful locations, and unforgettable views. A special thank you to our guide, Syler Sun! He was incredibly friendly, polite, attentive, and made the entire day enjoyable and comfortable. Such a wonderful guy! Everything was perfectly organized, including private transportation with pickup and drop-off directly at our hotel. The entire experience felt truly personal. We especially loved visiting unique, less crowded spots away from the main tourist groups. No forced shopping stops, souvenir shops, or tourist traps. All our time was spent enjoying the beautiful sights! Despite visiting so many places, the tour wasn’t physically demanding, and we never felt rushed. Our guide Tantan was amazing and was very knowledgeable about the park, providing a lot of tips to avoid large crowds and the places for the best views. She was very flexible with the itinerary and was able to change the plans accordingly with the weather and our own needs.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Jenny as our tour guide in Zhangjiajie, and we cannot recommend her highly enough! She went above and beyond to make our trip smooth, enjoyable, and truly memorable. Jenny is incredibly fluent in English, making communication effortless, and she is extremely knowledgeable about the history and significance of every place we visited. What really stood out was how much thought and effort she put into planning our itinerary. She carefully designed our routes to help us avoid the incredibly long queues, which can apparently reach up to three hours, and even went the extra mile to contact the operators at each attraction to check the crowd conditions before we arrived. This made such a huge difference to our experience and allowed us to enjoy everything without wasting hours waiting in line. Jenny was also so thoughtful and accommodating when it came to our dietary requirements. She personally helped us order our meals and recommended an excellent restaurant where we could all enjoy our food comfortably. She also made sure we always had water stocked in the car, which we really appreciated throughout our busy day of sightseeing. When we felt we didn't want to walk too much, Jenny was more than happy to adjust our route to suit our needs, while still ensuring we didn't miss out on any of the highlights. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our comfort and wanted us to get the most out of our time in Zhangjiajie. Jenny's professionalism, kindness, knowledge, and attention to detail made our trip so much better than we could have imagined. She didn't just guide us around the attractions; she made sure we had the best possible experience at every step. We are incredibly grateful for all her efforts and would absolutely recommend Jenny to any friends or family planning a trip to Zhangjiajie. Lilian was our tour guide and she was very polite, patient, and had everything organized for us throughout the entire day. It was easy so all we had to do was relax and enjoy.

This was one of the best tours we had and what made it the best was our guide Tantan. She was excellent. She explained everything very well, she helped us get front row on the elevator, she got us in front of huge lines for all buses and experiences which helped us see our entire itinerary and had more time to do and see other things we thought we wouldn’t be able to. Even my children gravitated to her. My kids loved Tantan. When we made it back home my kids even told me how much they miss her and want to go back. What makes a trip and experiences memorable is the guide and she did not disappoint. She answered all of our questions, she took care of us, she played with the kids, took pride in her job, very young and intelligent, excellent communicator, I couldn’t ask for more. We even tried booking her again but unfortunately she already had her entire week booked with other guides. Thank you Tantan for the amazing experience and memories

We had an excellent one-day tour with Siddy, visiting the Glass Bridge, Bailong Elevator, Avatar Mountain and Tianzi Mountain. We were staying in the area for a very limited time, so having a tour offering all of these sights in one day, together with such a wonderful guide, made a huge difference. Siddy speaks excellent English and is extremely knowledgeable, and she was super friendly, patient and polite. She made sure we were comfortable, helped us navigate everything smoothly, and shared lots of interesting information along the way. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the whole experience was totally worth the money. We managed to see so much in just one day without feeling rushed. We would highly recommend Siddy to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie. An excellent guide and a fantastic experience!

It was a great experience, this Tour was amazing and I highly recommend you go with a tour guide because the national forest at ziangjianje and the sky bridge are very overwhelming and there are so many shuttles you must take and wouldn’t know which one to take if it weren’t for the tour guide, Cara was the best!! If you can reserve with her, she was very kind and patient and explained us everything!

Everything was excellent. The comfortable SUV, pleasent driver, great English speaking tour guide. Showed all the highlights efficiently. We visited during summer holidays so was a bit busy but no really long queues. All in all highly recommended.

My Zhangjiajie avatar mountain and glass bridge was great ! We had an awesome guide tour here name is Lillian . Even though our flight got delayed she gave us excellent service she waited for us checked on our flight delay and pick us up and dropped us off from airport she managed to still help us complete our tour she is very nice ! Overall great experience , incredible sightseeing view !

You could do this by yourself but why take the stress? It's a maze of queues, buses, cable car, lift, etc. Buses have multiple stops so you have to know where to alight. It's tickets and passports and face scanning. The glass bridge area is about 45m from the Avatar area and has separate admission, etc. BTW Tianmen mt is not on this tour. We thought it was well worth the price to have a guide. We got lucky w Amy who is the best guide we have had in many countries and many tours. She is friendly, funny and knows exactly where to go. The process was stress free.

Arianna was an excellent guide. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and allowed us to select specific activities that enhanced our tour (e.g. zipline, slide, and ferreta/cliff climbing). Tip for the slide - remove your shoes if wearing socks. Otherwise your rubber soles will slow you down significantly. The national park is spectacular. Lots of steps, shuttle rides on curvy roads, photo opportunities and snack options. Public restrooms are plentiful.

The tour was amazing from start to finish. A really nice car, there was so much to do in the tour and the guide Lillian was just exceptional. She was intelligent, multilingual, so well organised and she was kind and warm and attentive. She really made sure that we had a fun amazing experience and her descriptions and knowledge of the tour spots were perfect. Honestly probably the best organised tour I’ve ever been on. We had good viewing weather despite rain and the landscape (Avatar inspiration scenery!) is unbelievable and the elevator, glass bridge, cable car etc. are all exceptional.
