Upon entry, soar up the cliffside Bailong Elevator, the world’s tallest and fastest, to reach the summit in just 88 seconds. From its glass cabin, watch in awe as thousands of towering karst peaks drop beneath you.
Your guide will lead you on a shortcut to the best vantage point overlooking the main star: the ‘Avatar’ Hallelujah Mountain. Then, navigate the cliffside trails of Yuanjiajie to admire nature’s finest masterpieces like the Back Garden, Enchanting Platform, and First Bridge Under Heaven. Lunch is intentionally left flexible. Feel free to pack some snacks to keep your energy up, or enjoy lunch at your own expense on the mountain. Dining options at the summit are limited, and local dishes can be quite salty, spicy and greasy. For a lighter, more familiar meal, fast-food spots like Dicos in Yuanjiajie and McDonald’s at Tianzi Mountain are better choices.
Board the park shuttle to less-crowded Yangjiajie to admire the spectacle of ‘Natural Great Wall’, formed by rows of pine-covered sandstone peaks dating back 380 million years to the Devonian Period.
Admire jagged sandstone peaks soaring into the clouds, including the Imperial Brush Peaks and Flower Fairy Peaks. Then, relax on a downhill cable car, taking in sunset over the expansive karst forest.

Our tour today was to the Grand Canyon and Glass Bridge and then to Tiananmen Mountain. We were picked up from our hotel in Wulingyuan and had a group of 9. The day was well timed with plenty of opportunity to take photos, eat lunch and take bathroom breaks. The views at both places were amazing. We were very lucky with the weather. What made the trip extra special, however, was our guide, Jiya. She was delightfully personable and made sure we were entertained with amusing stories and valuable information. She gave us a lesson in the use of chopsticks and now we are all experts! Jiya was patient, caring and accommodating of the needs of the group and made the trip a very memorable one.

We had a very good trip with our guide Laura, she knew every spot in the park en walked us through. It was the busiest day of the year (2 okt) and still she made sure we did not have to wait anywhere. She even had water and drinks for us. We highly recommend.
Everything went well and smoothly. Great experience. Our guide, Cristina, did a great job. She explained the program in detail and showed us everything. She also helped us book a laundry service and train tickets. Moreover, she handled a situation well with 2 customers with opposite needs. I loved the solo time with Cristina walking in the marvelous National Park.
