Absolutely fabulous stay! The grand lobby is incredible every time you step into it. Our room had a gorgeous view and hotel staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They even helped me with my Taobao packages. Breakfast buffet was delicious and we enjoyed it every morning. The location is perfect for walking or biking around to explore. The metro subway is practically at your front door. If you can, I recommend getting a room with a massage chair and don't forget to go for a swim, sauna, hot tub, and steam room! Our new group of friends played billiards/pool and ping pong one night too.

This hotel advertises itself as “7-star,” but my experience at the front desk was deeply disappointing. They couldn’t process my Visa card — something I’ve never encountered anywhere else in the world — and told me it wasn’t valid for international use, which is simply not true. I was asked to wait on the side, but no one followed up with me. I eventually had to go back and ask for help myself. The female staff member I dealt with was curt, unhelpful, and kept changing her explanation, which made the situation even more frustrating. For a hotel that claims to offer world-class service, this kind of treatment is unacceptable.
That said, I want to sincerely thank the housekeeping staff and the concierge team — they were all warm, polite, and professional. Their kindness helped ensure my trip wasn’t completely ruined. I truly appreciate their efforts. It’s unfortunate that such a big gap in service quality exists within the same hotel. I won’t be returning, but I’m grateful to those who did their jobs with care and respect.
Fantastic hotel. Staff were super friendly, and the rooms were really fantastic. Didn't have any problems speaking primarily English. Breakfast buffet is worth splurging for as well.
Excellent Chinese Hotel in the city of Wuhan. The staff, barring the language barrier, was courteous. The hotel rooms are fit for kinds and queens. The indoor pool is exceptional. I would love to be back there again.
