First thing3 The hotel is perfect for visiting the national park because it s in the between the park and city. You will need taxi to move but in china they are really cheap! The hotel was quite nice and the services perfectly functional. Praise must be given to Wendy. Not only she is one of the rare Chinese people I met whom could actually speak English, but she was also nice and give us brilliant suggestion like watching a Chinese show (that she booked for us) that was brilliant.
We spent 2 days in this hotel and it was amazing, the building is very new and clean and it has amazing decor in the hall, it looks like the Sistine Chapel in Rome. Unfortunately the indoor pool was closed.
What really stood out during our stay was how helpful and reliable was the concierge lady Wendy. She speaks amazing English which is so helpful and rare in China. She was the best, she helped me with planning and with reservations for the national park and Tianmen mountain! I will miss her help during our vacation in China.
An absolutely wonderful stay.. The entire staff was professional, but Wendy was a true standout. She went the extra mile to answer all our questions and was incredibly helpful in planning our tours. She even helped navigate my concerns about the food, making our entire trip smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
I am still shaking my head as to how a place this beautiful can be so cheap. I would easily pay close to $1000 to stay in a similar place in Aus. Clean, quiet, rooms and bathrooms are a good size.
Hotel offers a driver service which I recommend. It was cheaper than the DIDIs.
The star of the show was Wendy, the manager. Nothing was too much trouble, she even added me on WeChat so that I could contact her if I got stuck. All the staff were lovely. But Wendy stood out.
