Private 3-hour Ski Lesson In Zermatt, Switzerland

We had some fantastic family lessons with Timo! He is a great communicator and we highly appreciated his calm style. Our 5 year old daughter couldn’t ski before and within three lessons she made a lot of progress! For all our skill levels he had great advice, and we had a really good time while learning a lot. We would always recommend his lessons and we would certainly do it again!

It was a great experience to have Petr as a skiing teacher! I would totally recommend him, he is really experienced and emphatic. Even if our family had different levels he supported each of us in a great way. On almost not knowing on how to stand on skis from one day, he helped to overcome my fear and supported in a really save way to go from Micky mouse to blue to red on the next day. And on the other side an experienced skier from childhood who did not ski in a really long time. We had such a great learning with Petr that we rebooked his support for the next day. Thanks a lot Petr for facilitating us to have an amazing time and fun in the most beautiful location!!!

Plamen provided excellent instruction during my wife's ski lesson—he was incredibly patient, informative, and made the experience both enjoyable and educational. His guidance helped her gain confidence on the slopes. We truly appreciate their professionalism and expertise!

Everything about our experience was outstanding. Communication with the ski school and Directions to meet our instructor Lukas, were precise and easy. Lukas was a lot of fun! He took us to some great slopes and lifts compatible with our abilities. He offered some really helpful instruction and gave us skills to work on. It definitely started our first Zermatt skiing experience off in the best possible way. I highly recommend hiring them and would do it again.

Michaela was such a pleasure to work with. She kept me focused and made as much progress as humanly possibly for my 1st ski lesson ever. Thank you Michaela for keeping me upright and safe. I went back and to Sunnegga on Wednesday morning and Riffelberg that afternoon. By the end of the day I rode the rope to the top of the training hill multiple times and had the time of my life!!! Thank you for introducing me to this whole new world. We are already looking at more places for me to practice stateside before the season ends.

Radka was great as a tour guide. We covered as much of the mountain as we could. Very professional and nice to ski with. Highly recommend.

My 7yr old daughter had a great time in her 3hr private lessons with Bára. We had been skiing the blue runs in the days before her lessons started, and Bára did a great job of keeping her motivated, graduating her to the red runs, and giving her the go ahead to do black runs, which she wore as a badge of honor. By the end of the three days they were skiing all over the mountain, and my daughter had a blast. Highly recommend Bára at Family Skiing Zermatt-- we wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. SIDE NOTE: There was a tiny bit of confusion during the booking process when we wanted to add on an additional lesson, but it was easily resolved (and probably a result of this being one of the busiest weeks of the season). My impression is this is a small operation, but good people.

We had an amazing experience with Kristyna as our private ski instructor for 3 hours. Despite being total beginners, she helped us make significant progress. The session was incredibly fun and fulfilling overall. Highly recommend!

Excelent communication and great instructors, particularly Misha who I cannot recommend highly enough. Over 4 days my girlfriend and both her children (ages 10 & 11) progressed from absolute beginners to confident novice skiers. Thank you Bara, Misha and Petr.

I’m 35 years old and had never been skiing before, so I knew it’d be a good idea to sign myself up for a lesson and I’m so glad I did! Kristyna did an outstanding job showing me the basics and making sure I was comfortable during our whole lesson. I would definitely recommend!!!

As intermediate skiers, we had an amazing experience with Petr as our ski instructor. It started with the communication about the lessons, which was clear, fast and to the point. Petr is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and supportive, and helped us refine our technique and learn more about the fundamentals of skiing. He also taught our beginner kids some of the basics. I highly recommend Family Skiing to anyone looking to improve their skiing and have a great time on the mountain.

Petr was an amazing instructor for my family in December 2021. We had a range of skill levels and he adapted well to all of our needs. He would work with Our 5 year old in the morning first thing and then transition to pre-teens, improving their skiing ability. We found Petr to be an extremely reliable and professional ski instructor and would recommend him to any of our friends.

We've taken only a half of 2days lessons. On the day of morning, she kindly got in touch by Whatapp for how we could find each other, what we need to take with us, the exact meeting point. Our instructor was friendly for all ages, as we all adore her by her warm approach. we've improved incredibly fast along individual ability for such a short time lesson. In the end, we're able to ski independently. We've all absolutely enjoy skiing with her as we felt togetherness through out the lessons. She pointed out safety with her clear instruction. We also had a little trouble buying train tickets on the first day though she waited so patiently us to sort out too. We are hoping to take a ski lesson again in the future.

We just got back from our skiing trip to Zermatt in late March 2022. My family consists of me, my wife and two kids age 12 and 10. Our skiing was booked with Petr from Family Skiing for 5 hours a day for 6 days. We cannot be more content and happy with our choice! Petr has over 20 years of skiing experience and has wealth of knowledge from his travels around the world that keeps you engaged while using ski lifts or cable cars. As far as skiing is concerned, we were so happy that we could ski together as a family, unlike previous cases in Italy where the kids had to ski separately from adults. Petr knows the Zermatt slopes at the back of the hand and with his experience we were able to choose the slopes we need to ski on each day as the weather became tricky towards the latter part of our trip. We also got a chance to ski one day with another instructor named Misha. She was a joy to ski with and took us to many photographic places. The kids had a real fun time with her including a snowball fight. I would highly recommend Petr and hope to visit Zermatt next season as well!

I want to highly recommend Family Ski Zermatt. I ski with my two children and I contacted them really late notice and they were able to accommodate us. We had an amazing morning of skiing the resort stress free which is why I am on vacation. We are all good skiers but find it frustrating skiing new areas when they are so massive what is best for all our abilities. I loved having Gabriella being able to lead us around to the best skiing of the day. We are sure to book them next visit for an all day adventure to make my vacation truly enjoyable and stress free.

I booked a 3 hours private lesson in Russian language and had great experience! Peter gave useful tipps and gave a good overview of ski area and showed routes that only locals know. I would recommend Peter to everyone who wants to learn skiing in Zermatt!

Petr is professional and excellent ski instructor. He is very patient and always giving encouragement, especially since I'm just really starting to learn to ski. He first worked on getting me comfortable and confident, which allowed me to focus on my learning. I highly recommend Family Skiing to all who wanted to learn and enjoy this sport!

Petr made it possible that we could book some lessons at short notice during the high season. He is very flexible and accommodating. The lessons with Misha were fun, the boys learned a lot. Misha not only learned to ski, but also reported a lot about the surroundings. Thank you very much, we would love to come back!

Fast and uncomplicated appointment. We learned an awful lot in the three hours and wanted to be able to move more safely on the red slope. In the end we mastered the black slope. It was incredibly fun with our teacher and we were able to take a lot for ourselves. The family atmosphere then rounded things off. Highly recommended!!!
