La Vue - Zermatt Luxury Living Appartements

The apartments are great! You’ll find everything you need and more. Stunning views, a quiet location, warm and fresh interiors. I would mention, though, that sometimes late at night I could hear footsteps from our neighbor, even though we were on the top floor. Better sound insulation would have been appreciated. The idea of having breakfast delivered to the room is amazing, especially convenient when traveling with kids. The spa is very relaxing too. I loved the strong jacuzzi, as well as the sauna and steam room. The massage therapist (a lovely woman from Greece—I’m sorry I forgot her name) is a true professional and a very kind person. However, there were a few things that weren’t comfortable. Initially, LaVue announced that there was a free transfer to and from the slopes. After three days, we were told it was only provided to the slopes, not back. Considering that LaVue is located on a hill, this doesn’t seem well thought out for a high-standard place. Additionally, we were informed that only one transfer to the slopes was available per apartment, which wasn’t mentioned at the start. Since we booked a 3-bedroom apartment that could accommodate 6 adults and 3 kids (and we were a group of 6), there should have been more than one transfer available. Now, back to the good things! Zermatt is a beautiful and very clean city. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to leave your car in Täsch and use the transfer or train to get there.
