Ascot Loft Zermatt

We booked the upper floor which is a three-bedroom apartment that is a fantastic place. Two bedrooms downstairs with double beds and upstairs Master. Nice bathroom on each floor and a wonderful kitchen and living room space. The view of the Matterhorn and most of the northern southern end of town is fantastic. There is a guest laundry room in the basement which uses cost 2CHF in coin to wash and the same amount to dry. The vacation is excellent as you can see the oldest part of town from the balcony and it is just across the river for an easy walk. No more than a 10-minute walk from the rail station to here. Or you could take the green line bus or an electric taxi.

We recently stayed here and it was magnificent. The apartment itself is beautiful and boasts amazing views of the town and of the Matterhorn. Exceptionally clean and quiet. Very comfortable and the appliances were great.

My family and I spent Christmas week at Ascot and what an amazing experience it was. Can’t recommend enough. Best location in Zermatt. Shopping, dining, Sunnegga station, ice rink all within 3 min walk and don’t have to hike half way up a mountain to get to it. And can’t beat the view as you can see from this picture! Judith was extremely accommodating and communicative as well.

We just had a wonderful stay in Zermatt (family of 3 - from 20 to 23 May 2025) and it's made possible simply because we were very lucky to choose Haus Ascot as our accommodation! Prior to the trip, we were a bit apprehensive given the lack of feedback from people that stayed here before (this is relative since we read many other positive feedback at some other accommodation). Haus Ascot deserves more 5-stars reviews!! We have stayed in many all over the world but more often than not, came out disappointed because the pictures posted on the web weren't exactly what we experienced but Haus Ascot proved otherwise! My wife is very particular on cleanliness and this apartment exceeded her expectations! From the living room to the bedrooms and toilets, they are spotlessly maintained. The views from the bedrooms as well as the living hall were simply awesome! It is also very convenient to the train station which is about 7-8 mins of leisure walk and its very close to restaurants and a supermarket. The instructions provided were very clear to us and the check-in and check-out was a breeze. While we were also required to clear the waste at a nearby location on our final day, we happily did it so that Haus Ascot can continue to provide the value and cleanliness it offers. Anyway, we understand that certain waste has to be disposed in certain ways here in Switzerland. When we were travelling in Europe in the past, some of the apartments we stayed do not have lifts so lugging our belongings up and down was a struggle. However, we didn't have such issues with Haus Ascot and the lift is just right next to our main door. If ever you'll be coming to Zermatt for your next holiday destination, I strongly recommend you to book with them. It is indeed one of the best we have ever stayed in.
