The 22 Summits Apartments enjoys a quiet hillside location, a 4-minute walk from the center of Zermatt and the Matterhorn railways. All apartments have a balcony and free Wi-Fi. The fully equipped kitchens include an oven and a dishwasher. Daily cleaning of the apartments is included in the winter season. An internet corner is at your disposal, you can buy drinks on site, and there is also a laundry with ironing facilities. In the wintertime guests can benefit from free access to the wellness area. It is open from 16:00 to 20:00 and includes a sauna and a steam bath. You can easily reach the 22 Summits Apartments via an elevator through a tunnel. The bus to the stations of the shuttle train, the Matterhorn-Gornergrat and the Sunnegga trains stops at the lower end of the tunnel. Bus transfers are included in the ski passes.

The reception provided excellent support and feedback for tour planning. However, the rooms have several significant flaws. There are no English TV channels and no channel guide. Opening the balcony door immediately lets in numerous house flies. General upkeep is lacking, specifically the overgrown grass on the balcony. The kitchen is insufficiently stocked with utensils. Finally, the absence of any climate control or even a basic pedestal fan makes the room uncomfortably hot during the day.

We stayed at 22 summits apartment for three nights in mid May. For a family of three the two bedroom apartment feels very spacious and comfortable. The interior decor is beautiful. Because it’s an apartment there is no daily cleaning but that wasn’t a problem for us. The apartment is well equipped with a kitchen and everything is provided. We noticed the sink and tub in the bathroom is a little clogged and drained slowly. We notified the front desk and it was resolved very quickly. The location is closer to the cable car, about three minutes walk, and about fifteen minutes walk away from the train station. Overall we had a pleasant stay and highly recommend it!

It was a real pleasure staying in 22 Summits Apartments. Clean rooms, nice view and a fantastic ambient. Located near the gondolas I just walked 2 minutes and was already there. 10/10 would recommend if you solo travel and like to relax in this beautiful mountain village or even with the family

Recently got back from 22 Summits. I phoned them up when we arrived at Zermatt station, they were extremely friendly and polite. The lady that drove us to the apartments was friendly and polite. The lady on checkin was friendly and polite. The room was great, the location is close to a ski hire shop and the Matterhorn Express. The breakfast was great and the ladies serving coffee in the breakfast room were, yes you guessed it, extremely polite. The only downside is that we only had 4 nights there. Would definitely like to return to Zermatt as it’s a brilliant place, and it would have to be at 22 Summits.
