Itinerary
Starting at Plaza de Sas in the Casco Antiguo, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and weave into the old town. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city. The Basílica del Pilar soon fills the skyline with domes and towers above the Ebro. Riddles find the Goya frescoes and the two unexploded bombs still on display. At the Plaza del Justicia, trivia recalls the Justicia de Aragón, the medieval office that dared to check the power of kings. Then the Catedral del Salvador — La Seo — closes the circuit, a single cathedral wearing Romanesque, Gothic, Mudéjar and baroque all at once. Around two hours through Caesar Augusta's descendants. The final ranking is announced without a single cannonball.

Reviews
Fairly comprehensive and just the right length. Easy to navigate. Added something extra to the usual self-guided walk.
We (2 parents) did this with 2 kids (11 & 9) - as 2 teams. They loved the game & we got to do a walk and learn some history while we were all having fun. Absolutely fabulous 🙌
We visited Zaragoza with our two boys, aged 12 and 9. This was the perfect way to see the sites of the city by engaging the kids in the various challenges. The tour was just about the right length to hold their attention and appeared to take in most of the important landmarks. My husband and I enjoyed it too.
We did not fully understand the start which caused frustration. It was difficult reading a cellphone screen in sunshine. We did find out some interesting facts.
We truly enjoyed the scavenger hunt tour. It was a lot of fun and we learned some little known areas and facts about the city’s history. I would recommend this to families and couples alike!!
Our family loved this! We learned a ton and felt like we were able to hit the highlights well.we are definitely planning on doing more!
Cool, thanks a lot! We all had fun with the app and will definitely do it again. Also, its a really beautiful city!
This was a wonderful piece of technology. Well thought, very interesting content and fun to play. If I can find ones for other cities, I will definitely try it again.
What a great tour, we had so much fun! It's a great tour to know the city better, especially places, you wouldn't find without it. It is very informative and also lets you free to explore a bit yourself at times. Good balance between these two, we liked it!
So pleased we did this, it’s a great fun way of getting to know a new city. We enjoyed it so much we’re going to do both of the Barcelona tours when we get there.
The Basilica del Pilar looks like something that came out of a movie scene honestly. My kids had the time of their lives while me and my wife were capturing and enjoying this moment.
I was looking to do an escape game, when trip suggested me this experience. I had a great time with my boyfriend, very light experience.
Lots of fun! I was on my own while my husband was at a conference. This was the perfect way to wander around and experience the history of Zaragoza. I will definitely look for more in other towns.
The questions are actually very useful to retain the historical info, while enjoying the experience.
Smart choice for someone that wants flexibility and freedom. You can go in your own rhythm while exploring the city.
It's amazing how Explorial shows you different parts of a city you wouldn't see otherwise. We really enjoyed the experience.
Very fun and interesting
I would have preferred audio guidance Some errors in the result of the answers Nice discovery Simple to follow
First time doing self-guided tours; the good thing is that you go at your own pace. There were three of us girls and we stopped at every bar and even made a stop for lunch. All my future tours will be under this format.
One can certainly do that, however, we experienced a heatwave. It quickly becomes uncomfortable here, as the area consists only of stone slabs. However, it does cover most of the attractions in the city center. The tasks could, however, be designed to be more fun.
Nice to explore the city in this way and immediately learn something or history. Furthermore, you will also see details that you would otherwise never have noticed.
The puzzle tour is well put together, with clear instructions. The questions are doable and sometimes we had to consult the hints. Really nice! With a bunch of competitive guys, it was fun to make teams and compete within the family.
We liked the experience so much, that through the Explorial - app for the tour. We also did in Barcelona, Tarragona and Valencia. A fun way to get to know the city, better than tour buses, no doubt. A self-service proposal. You and your travel companion(s) should each have a smartphone. There is an initial tourist spot and from there we continue walking the streets of the city, seeing the monuments, etc. and answering quizzes (questions) on the topic. I found the idea amazing!
Fun way to explore the city. On foot well doable, even with children, no long distances to walk. The information is exciting for the adults and older children, a little too dry for younger ones. Perhaps recommended from about 10 years.
Es divertida. Aprendes algunas cosas curiosas. Pasamos una mañana entretenida porque nos "picamos" un poco con los puntos. Lo recomiendo.
Excellent city to visit, first to visit the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Pillar. Place where the Virgin Mary appeared while alive to the Apostle James to give him strength and strength to fulfill his mission. The City has many very interesting places to visit. The Palace of Alfajeria very nice, visiting it at Christmas has special charm for the lighting, the carol concerts, the Bethlehem as they call in Spain life size etc. Its gastronomy very good. Roman Forum very large auditorium
Horrible, a scam, impossible to do anything, no code works, hopefully we will be refunded the money. No phone worked to contact, from Switzerland it was
Horrible, a scam.Unable to enter any valid code to make the tour. It is also not possible to contact the service provider. Lost money. Not recommended. To avoid
Nos gustó mucho la experiencia pues nos descubrió un poco más la historia de nuestra ciudad, nos quedamos bastante asombradas porque no esperábamos que fuera tan entretenida. La recomiendo sin dudarlo
Perfect tour to do at your own pace and get to know the different places of interest in Zaragoza. Very interesting to do it with your partner, friends or family.
Zaragoza was on, just wa hot. Some questions were scotted because thirst was too big, so ff small cerveza go drinking.
My kids became fans, didn't they? Any pretext to use smartphones is always a win win. And in this case it is win for both sides, as this involves any generation to have fun and explore the cities. Top top, we love it!
The puzzles were great. It was an entertaining walk through Zaragoza. You can make it nice.
