What a fun experience! Marta is the best guide. Only the two of us, plus her, and we had a great time. She was very accommodating and always asked what we wanted to try. We learned a lot about tapas from her.

On this tour we will explore one of my favorite parts of Zaragoza, we will walk through its ancient streets to discover in them the heritage that Roman, Muslim, Jewish and Christian bequeathed us. In each place we will taste a wine of the four denominations of origin of Aragon, which are Cariñena, Campo de Borja, Calatayud and Somontano, accompanied by local products, from its best vegetables, to its best cheeses and Teruel hams. We will understand the importation of winemaking in the region.

Our guide was great, wish I could remember her name. Even though it was a wine/tapas tour she did go into the history of the town as we walked.
I had a delightful evening! Marta was superb. She gave an excellent overview of Zaragoza and the food scene in the old part of the city. She was knowledgeable of the history, the culture and the foods. I especially loved her personality, her positive energy brought the small group on the tour to life. Marta was also careful to explain the types of foods we were tasting and she made sure that food allergies were not an issue for anyone. I feel that she arranged a perfect evening for the group. By the end of the evening the eight of us felt like we were old friends.
Marta was fabulous! Warm, chatty and knowledgeable. Made us feel completely at home in Zaragoza. The tapas bar selections were well made and the wine choices were superb. We had a ball! The only regret is that we did this near the end of our holiday. If we had done it at the beginning we would’ve had more of a clue when choosing our tapas earlier in the week!
This was a great walking tour, the stops were all in a close proximity to each other. Marta made great recommendations, the cream cheese with anchovies and chocolate tapas was actually tasty. I’d recommend this tour!!
Great evening. Marta was a wonderful guide- so knowledgeable about the culture and history. Thank you!
We loved our tapas tour with Marta! She took us around to a variety of different places and had great food and drink recommendations for each one. Marta was a wealth of information about the history of Zaragoza - so interesting to learn more about the city! Highly recommend this tour.
Marta made Zaragoza so memorable for us! She was very knowledgeable of the city, tapas, and wines, and had us try things we would not have tried on our own. I have allergies and my boyfriend is picky, and she customized tapas selections for us that were outside our comfort zone, but we very much enjoyed. I wish we stayed for more than one night!
Marta was truly such a joy for us to spend the evening with. It was a random Thursday before a holiday weekend and it just ended up being us and Marta as they gear up for a busy few days. Marta was awesome to say the least. We learned so much about Zaragoza and it’s very interesting history. She entertained all our quirky history questions and took us to truly amazing tapas places. Everything we tried was delicious even those tapas that were outside of our normal “comfort zone.” Marta will not steer you wrong! So just trust and try! This was such a great way to learn about this beautiful city through a tour guide who you can tell is passionate about this area and is eager for us to gain that same appreciation. 100 stars for Marta! We highly encourage you to book this culinary experience.
We had a delightful evening with Marta who was very knowledgeable and made the evening fun. She gave us a history of Zaragoza and took us to a variety of tapas locations in the historic center of town. She enlightened us on the various vintages we tasted and had great tapas and wine pairings. Would highly recommend !!
We had a wonderful time with Marta. She told us the amazing history of Zaragoza and she took us to amazing places for tapas and wine. We learned a lot about the city, culture, and people. I highly recommend for anyone visiting the city.
This was such a highlight of our trip to Spain. Marta is a wonderful human and a terrific tour guide. Being hosted by her in Zaragoza was the best decision we made. Wonderful places, sensational tastes and quality wines. Tasted white Grenache for the first time and enjoyed rabbit tapa. And always there was a seat waiting for us at the best bars in town! Highly recommended.
Not only is Jorge knowledgeable but he loves Zaragoza and loves to share his passion. We went to Tapas Bars we never even saw as we explored the city on our own. The history of the city and the bars themselves was an added bonus.
Marta was a fantastic guide. She was knowledgeable about the history of Zaragoza and the wines of Spain. She paired the tapas and wines brilliantly. I highly recommend this tour.
Marta was an excellent guide. She provided great commentary on Zaragoza and more broadly Spanish history. Her locations for tapas and wine were perfect for our appetites and she was a wonderful conversationalist.
need an empty tummy. curiosity about Zaragoza - ask the guide (extremely knowledgeable). nice range of food/drink. fascinating places to visit
Marta our guide was lovely. Just 4 of us on the tour ( 2 couples), we had great fun. Tasted tapas we wouldn't have tried on our own and some nice wines. Bars were busy but we got a table at every one. Marta gave us great overview of the rich history of Zaragoza. Highly recommend this tour
Our tour guide Martha was so knowledgeable! We had so much fun ! Highly recommend this tour! Martha made the experience a highlight of our trip!
Super fun few hours enjoying tapas and wine while learning about the history of Aragon. Marta is a fantastic guide! Highly recommend this activity.
The tapas and wine tour in Zaragoza was so much fun! My sister and I absolutely loved our guide Marta. We were a little late to the meeting spot because it was Good Friday of Semana Santa (Holy Week) and the processions were in full force. Thankfully, Marta waited for us and was more than happy to accommodate our desire to watch the processions while also enjoying the tour. Learning about some of Zaragoza’s history was interesting and the wine and tapas were delicious. Best of all was Marta. We enjoyed our evening with her so much!!
Marta was wonderful! She shared relevant history about the city and region, and our tour was the highlight of our short stay in Zaragoza. We explored some fantastic tapas restaurants and enjoyed everything we tried. Her personality is easy and congenial - she was a joy to spend an evening with!
We met Marta outside of the central market and she shared interesting historical information about Spain and the city of Zaragoza. We then toured the market and headed up the street to our first destination. We enjoyed delicious wine and tapas at 4 separate restaurants. Marta was a delight. She gave us so much information but it was perfectly paired with excellent food and wine. We didn’t want to say goodbye to her at the end of the evening. She did an outstanding job. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.
Marta is a fantastic guide and so knowledgeable about Zaragoza and Spanish history. We visited four tapa bars and had lots of helpful details about local and region wine and food. It’s a really great way to orient yourself to the city, and we followed up her advice about historic places to visit the following day. Good recommendations were the Palacio de la ALJAFERÍA and Museo Pablo Gargallo. Thanks Marta
Marta, our tour guide, was very informed and very pleasant to talk to. She took us through the history of the city and we got to enjoy delicious tapas and wine. Would recommend!
The tour we did with Marta was absolutely fantastic! We learned so much about the city of Zaragoza and got to try many delicious tapas and wines. She was so knowledgable and friendly, it was like going out for an evening with a friend. We did the tour on our first evening in Zaragoza which was the best thing we could have done. Not only did we return to our favourite tapas bars we discovered during the tour, she also gave us tips on where to go for breakfast, lunch, where to buy artisanal products. Our entire 4-day stay in the city was incredibly delicious thanks to Marta. Highly recommend!
The market, hidden tower museum, wine and jamon cellar, the tapas, and the guides Jorge, Pablo and Marteen were knowledgeable and awesome.
Our guide, Marta, was excellent! As we walked through the town she gave us the history of the town and the wine industry of Zaragoza. The focus on the culture and history was an unexpected and delightful surprise. She expertly guided to four different bars where we sampled a variety of wines and tapas. Marta was a charming host and made the evening memorable.
My husband and I had a wonderful time! I think as we visited during the middle of summer that it was just the 2 of us on the tour. Marta was an exceptional host, she knew so much history of the city and was so nice! It really felt like she was a friend that was taking us out for the evening :) She took us to places we wouldn’t have known to visit, including this fascinating museum in an underground wine cellar dedicated to a tower that used to be standing in Zaragoza years ago. We tried different wines at each stop which were perfectly paired with the tapas, and she explained the particulars of the wine and the regions it was made and why it went well with each tapa. We loved El Tubo! So fun wandering around this area and we loved that each place we visited was a little different and they all had their own unique vibe. We tried once of the most exotic tapas of our lives - you’ll have to take this tour to find out as I don’t want to spoil the surprise! I would definitely recommend this tour, we really had a great night! 10/10
Great way to get to know the old town and the tapas bars. Plenty to eat and drink and our guide lived in Zaragoza so knew where all the best places were and was very friendly. We re-visited some of the tapas bars during our stay.
An excellent experience. Got some history of Zaragoza. A tour of the market. Very interesting stops for tapas with cultural information and history and fabulous tapas and wine. Overall a wonderful introduction for us to Zaragoza as it was our first evening there and we loved the overall feel of the places we went which we know we would have never discovered on our own, nor tasted the things we tried without our expert guide. Highly recommended.
We really lucked out and had the pleasure to take a tour of Zaragoza with our stellar guide, Jorge! He enlightened us with the history of the city and took us on a tour that left us feeling like we had an extra special insight into the food and wine of Aragon
Excellent guide. We received a great overview of Zaragoza including a stop at the local market. The restaurants chosen all had tasty tapas and wine. We saw beautiful spears of white asparagus at the market and our guide gave us a wonder recommendation to a restaurant that had white asparagus. I strongly recommend this tour, as a great way to get started with knowing the city and its history.
This was an incredible cultural experience! I am a non-drinker who partook on this special occasion with no regrets. We walked to four locations over the course of the tour, four places that I would never have otherwise discovered. I am unfamiliar with tapas which is why it was so helpful having a cultural guide. They were able to easily make adjustments to both the food and beverages based on the participants. The location that we met up at was central and easy to find. I would DEF do this again.
Jorge was very knowledgeable and interesting. Really enjoyed our time with him. Highly recommend the experience!
We had a great time touring thru town. We enjoyed 4 tapas dishes from 4 different bars and paired each one with local wines. Jorge was informative and friendly.
We had an amazing evening tasting local wines and tapas. Jorge was very knowledgeable and with short introduction to Zaragoza history it was a fantastic start to our holiday in this lovely city. We also dined in some of the places he recommended. I recommend this experience to anyone visiting Zaragoza. Thank you!
We visited Zaragoza during the Pilar Fiestas week. We had no idea that we were arriving during the biggest annual festival in Zaragoza. The city was alive and the streets were full of people from all over the world! Jorge, our tour guide, was the most wonderful tour guide we could ever ask for! He told us about the history of Zaragoza before we embarked on our food tour which was so informative! Jorge did a great job navigating us through the city despite the crowds and he clearly had wonderful connections at each establishment that we visited. He educated us on local wines and the tapas selections paired so perfect together! His background in history and gastronomy is a perfect combination as this was one of the best tours we have ever had! We highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed! Thank you, Jorge for making our visit to Zaragoza memorable!
This is not just a tour … this is the home of the guide. He knows the owners and the town. It’s a great way to get to know the heart of Zaragoza.
Had an absolutely wonderful time with Jorge! It ended up just being my partner and I going along with Jorge and without a doubt one of the best tours we've been on. He took us around old town Zaragoza and gave us a brief history as we moved from bar to bar tasting very different tapas and wines (so many delicious and different types). Plus on top of all of that, gave us a heap of recommendations for the rest of our holiday. Strongly recommend you do this tour!
Our guide was excellent. Great knowledge of wine, food, history and the area. Food and wine were both exceptional. A great experience
We had an amazing time on our tour! Highly recommend booking this if you are visiting Zaragoza for the first time, as you will learn where all the good spots are and also some of the city’s history. Javi was fantastic and tailored the experience to our personal preferences. Absolutely the best decision we made on our trip!
Jorge met us at the market. He gave us a great overvirw of the 2000 yr history of Zaragoza, and then off we went! For 3 hours he entertained us, informed us, fed and watered us. The best thing - it was just the 4 of us. Perfecr for winding through El Tubo and eating interesting tapas - i wont spoil the surprise bur its not all bread, cheese and ham!
Best tour to do in Zaragoza, Jorge was informative and personable. He was definitely the highlight of our trip with his knowledge of the city and kindness. Anyone that comes to Zaragoza should do this tour.
Jorge worked really hard to give us both a fabulous exploration and discovery of some tucked-away and famous tapas bars on this tour. He is passionate about Zaragoza and it shows in his interest and desire to show us the best of the city
Jorge was a fantastic guide, we learned so much history and tasted great tapas and wines. We would never have experienced Zaragoza the same without this tour. Highly recommended
Amazing! Jorge was pleasant, informative and knowledgeable of the gastronomy and the wines of the region. Born in Zaragoza, he has a true understanding of the area and its history. Great time walking around Zaragoza but I especially loved the walk through “El tubo”. If you’re thinking about booking it! DO IT! you won’t regret your time with Jorge and lovely Zaragoza! Hasta luego Jorge
We had a really lovely evening spent with a very knowledgeable guide and making some new friends while also getting a deeper insight into some of the food and wine of the local region. The wines that were selected were a lovely representation of local wine varieties, and the tapas that accompanied them were varies, tasty and excellent accompaniments to the wine. The locations that we visited also gave us a great insight into the local food and wine culture of Zaragoza. I'd absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city.
Great tour of Zaragoza Tapas bars and some history of the city. Walking tour lasting ~ 3 hours. Visited 4 spots tasting very unique Tapas as well as some very interesting and historical haunts. We had already spent a day wandering the city and missed all the locations Jorge took us to. Very enjoyable evening. Cost was ~ 200$ Canadian for 2 people.
Jorge was a great tour guide providing exceptional service touring a few of us to 4 places. We tasted great wines and delicious tapas. Definitely recommend his service to anyone who is looking for a tapas and wine tasting experience in Zaragoza.
Our host was amazing! He led us to places we would never have tried on our own and provided excellent information about Zaragoza, wine, and tapas!
