⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful hotel with a very pleasant atmosphere. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the staff are friendly and always willing to help. The restaurant is also excellent – the food was delicious, the service professional, and the overall dining experience exceeded our expectations. The only small downside is that the hotel is located a bit farther from the center of Zaragoza, but if you're traveling by car or don't mind a short drive, it's not a problem at all. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend Hotel Plaza Diagonal to anyone visiting Zaragoza.

We were stopping here for one night after a late arriving flight with a toddler. We requested to upgrade the room to a suite with a baby cot. They gave us a cot, baby bath tub and changing mat. They also added additional beds in the lounge area of our suite. It was a welcome addition because we put our toddler to sleep in the cot in the bedroom and we slept separately in the lounge. Ana at the reception also helped order room service as we couldn't use the phone in our bedroom as the baby was asleep. Breakfast is standard buffet and it didn't disappoint. All in all very helpful staff and good room arrangement for us.
Great hotel, close to the major highway, cost about half of city average with huge rooms. Bathroom has a sizable bathtub, separate shower, bidé, etc. Quality work desk, huge tv, queen size beds. No street noise!
Jun 2026 - First time to stay in this hotel. Reception staff was professional. Room was spacious, but very hot. Good for winter, but not summertime. Housekeeper kept turning air conditioner off, so when we returned at the end of the day, the room was extremely hot. The bathroom, in particular, had light panels emitting so much heat, it can burn your scalp. No way to turn it down, only off. Generous parking that's free. Location is far from any tourist sites or restaurant establishments, except for Costco, which is 2-3 kms away. Breakfast is decent, but no choice for any special order, like sunny side up fried eggs or omelette. Scrambled eggs are mushy.
This was my first time staying at a hotel where the refrigerator was locked. The room had a coffee machine, but it was so dirty that it was completely unusable. While I understand that many European hotels do not provide electric kettles in the rooms, it was disappointing that the front desk did not have any available either. There wasn't even a single vending machine for water; I could purchase it at the dining room located on the Ground Floor (Floor 0). While this place might be okay for travelers who just need a place to sleep, it is highly discouraged for families. That said, the younger staff members were friendly.
