Zanzibar: Amazing White Sandbank & Snorkeling With Bbq Lunch

The driver came on time, a thin that I really appreciate. When we got there the manager waited with us until the whole group came for the activity. We had coffee with him. The boat trip was smooth, an amazing sandbank, not crowded at all. They cooked fish bbq for us, super tasty. After, we had the opportunity tu do snorkel next to another island. Amazing experience!!

Great day out from the start. We were met by our guide and made to feel welcome immediately. The boat ride was smooth and our guide and the crew were very knowledgeable. We went snorkeling and out to the sand bank for a BBQ lunch. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Nothing was to much trouble for any of the the crew.

Amazing experience from start to finish! It was such a special day, and Danny was the absolute best guide, friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. The sandbank was breathtaking, with crystal-clear water that felt peaceful and exclusive, without being overcrowded with tourists. We also went snorkeling at a private beach, which made the experience even more memorable. In total, we spent around five hours, including the snorkeling, and every minute was worth it. The food was absolutely delicious too! A huge thank you to Danny and the entire team for such a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Zanzibar, it’s perfect for all ages and well worth the cost.

This was a fantastic experience for us, we loved snorkeling and you have plenty of time to explore the coral reef! After snorkeling, you then get to eat lunch at the sandbank, the food was incredible (I am usually very fussy, but it was delicious!). The sea at the sandback is warm, and you get plenty of time to enjoy it before heading back. Our only advice would to be bring hats & suncream!! You have little protection from the sun and you are out for the majority of the day! This would be one of the first things we rebooked if we returned. Absolutely brilliant all round.

Fantastic experience, we enjoyed the full day and had a lot of fun. The barbecue lunch was excellent. Worth to book this. We book including a transfer from our hotel.

A beautiful excursion for snorkeling and swimming. First, we went to the sandbank to swim in the crystal-clear water. Lunch, prepared on-site by the crew, was served there as well. After that, we went to another island where you could snorkel at a coral reef. There was a lot to see. Many fish. After that, we headed back to Stone Town.

Top! Everything is arranged fantastically. Nice, kind people who made the excursion extra fun. The BBQ was really delicious and well taken care of. It all went at a relaxed pace, which we really needed today :)

Daniel was a very good host for the activity. Going to a sandbank that is not overcrowded with tourists was great! I highly recommend it! The BBQ on the sandbank was wonderful!

It was a great excursion with a well-organized team! From pickup to return transport to the hotel, everything was flawless. The price-performance ratio was excellent!!! Thanks also to the "team leader" from the Netherlands, who was also very friendly!

Today we went to the Nyanga Sandbank what an experience, Danny had everything super well arranged the staff was friendly and helpful despite the rain during the bbq we ate delicious food and then the dessert “the sun” that came through so we could all swim and enjoy the Sandbank that is slowly swallowed by the beautiful sea 🤗

We had a great day. We were picked up from the hotel on time and taken to the boat. The crew is super nice and we had as much time as we wanted to snorkel. Afterwards we went to the BBQ on a beautiful sandbar. The food was great and afterwards we were allowed to explore the sandbar and take photos. The return journey was also without problems. Big thanks to the friendly crew and to Mister Dani who took us through the traffic chaos in Stone Town with private driver to our transfer bus ;)

Super cool day / trip!! A warm welcome. Short mooring on sandbank after which we sail to coral place for snorkeling!! Amazing!! Plenty of time for snorkeling. Then on to Sandbank where a delicious BBQ was waiting!! Host and hostess super friendly and relaxed!! Very nice day...highly recommended!!! Hakuma Matata!!
