We needed a driver from the Airport to Stone Town. The driver picked us up on time at the airport and was holding a sign with my name. We communicated through the Viator app when I was not initially sure where to meet and there was a very quick response.
Great experience. The driver was there to greet us at the airport upon our arrival (even though our flight was delayed) and was very friendly and helpful with our bags. The ride was very comfortable, safe, water was provided and the AC worked. Overall, I would recommend. Thank you!
We used Zanspice Tours (via Viator) for airport transfers to/from Nungwi beach and they were great. Very nice vans, polite English speaking drivers, water available. We would definitely use again.
it was a very smooth and comfortable ride. even offered us water bottles at the start of the ride. this avoided any hassle to get a taxi and waiting for one after arriving at the airport. would recommend to others as well.
I booked the Zanzibar Airport Private Taxi Shuttle van few months before the trip, I continuously kept receiving reminders about the trip, I even messaged the service provider (Zanspice Tours) 48 hours before arrival giving them my flight details and asking them for the driver contact details, they responded (Everything is Fine). After I arrived Zanzibar Airport, I waited outside for 30 minutes looking for the driver with my name board with no luck, I eventually searched the booking App and tried to call some phone number but no response. Finally I used WhatsApp to message the tour operator and they responded saying the driver is on his way. The driver finally arrived 1 hour after the flight landed with sleepy eyes. Terrible Service, Don’t use this tour operator.

We hired this company to drive us from Zanzibar airport to Nungwi, we had a great experience and highly recommend this company. Our trip had a series of incidents that cause multiple reschedules to our original booking, our flight was delayed multiple times, one of our suitcases did not arrive with us and we had to wait for the next flight and all this time I communicated with the office and they were extremely accommodating, when we finally were able to leave the airport the driver was waiting for us. Also, I had a very bad fall at the airport and injured my leg and the driver took us to a pharmacy and was extremely helpful. We will use their services again.

I booked three times, and had the same driver each time! He was super informative about life and politics in Tanzania and Zanzibar! He remembered i was there to celebrate my birthday and picked me up with balloons in the van and a birthday song! He helped me bring my luggae in the airport after he saw how they were hounding me when he initially picked me up on arrival! Our driver was excellent . He gave us some history and culture during our drive .It was a Long ride and he drove very careful in spite of no traffic lights. He offered me and my friends beverages as well.

We had a fantastic service from Amaze Taxis while we were in Zanzibar and will absolutely use them again the next time we are lucky enough to be there! Before arriving in Zanzibar I had booked our transfers via email and paid via payment link. Then we had contact over whatsapp to confirm arrival times etc. Our driver always responded very quickly over whatsapp. We were transferred from the airport to our resort in Kizimkazi and our driver pointed out points of interest and gave us some history on the way. He then collected us 10 days later to transfer us to our hotel in Stone Town. He walked us to the hotel door and carried our heavy luggage for us. Finally he collected us from our Stone Town hotel to return us to the airport, again taking our luggage to his vehicle. The vehicle was clean and cool - appreciated in the hot, humid January weather. Excellent service all round and great value.
Absolutely perfect. Booked via WhatsApp, I was in connection with me when I landed. As I came out of the airport he was there, with umbrella in case of rain and water to drink.

Shortly after booking drive contacted us to change the fare for our ride. Unfortunately they wouldn't tell us what the new price was and kept saying "we'll figure it out when you arrive". When we insisted on knowing the price upfront they told us to contact Viator for any questions and stopped responding to our messages. Very shady. Viator in turn would point us to the driver. When we arrived at ZNZ the driver wasn't present, after waiting for sometime we booked another car instead and Viator eventually refunded our booking.

When we arrived in Zanzibar at the Airport we had the pleasure to got picked up from Zada ?! (i forgot the right name and how he he‘s written) from the Taxi-company as you can read above. He was very friendly and funny and he also checked us a snorkeling-trip which we enjoyed very much. He was always perfect in time. We can only reccomend him . We had a great experience using Affordable Taxi Service in Zanzibar. He was extremely friendly and professional. He made sure that we were comfortable and had a great time. There is wifi in the car was is extremely useful especially when you are travelling. Also provided water which was a nice touch. He truly added to our overall Zanzibar experience. He also took a lot of our photos, which were great. I would 100% recommend. Definitely will be using this service again the next time I come to Zanzibar.
We travelled twice with our taxi driver, who drove very responsibly, which is rare on Sansibar.We negociated a moderate price and received some discount on the second journey. He was very punctual and advised us on how long our trip would take. In Addition he organised a trip to a spice farm for us without any extra cost. A pleasant person,speaking good English.
