I can't tell you how happy I am to have chanced upon Haji on the beach outside my hotel in Matemwe. He is a beautiful and honest person, ready to share the culture and beauty of his country with us tourists, while showing absolute professionalism and at a very practical price. He helped us 100% plan a tailor-made excursion, devoting his entire day to our wishes and being extremely well prepared, unlike the manager of our own hotel who tried to rip us off and send us on the most expensive excursion basic and the most expensive. We started the tour with Ahdji by taking a small boat right in front of the hotel and snorkeling early in the morning, an amazing experience. We then swam with dolphins near Mnemba Island and took the road to Stone Town where we spent the rest of the day immersing ourselves in the colors of this amazing town. The driver was very professional and drove safely - which is not at all a guarantee on the island - and we were taken care of very well. Unfortunately, it was shortly before the end of our vacation, but we will be sure to book a tour with him the next time we are in Zanzibar again and, in the meantime, we can only wholeheartedly recommend him to other travelers! p.s. The music playlist for the car ride is worth mentioning - I discovered so many local artists who make exceptional songs!

Haji was recommended to us by a couple from the hotel. We contacted via WhatsApp and booked directly. Haji picked us up super punctually at the hotel and took us on a city tour of Stone Town. Afterwards we went on to a spice farm. We also got a guided tour there with a coconut tasting. The authentic lunch on the farm was great. Finally we visited the aquarium. We had the opportunity to swim with the turtles and feed them. The trip was great! We felt safe at all times and would book with him again.

Fully recommended. Haji picked us up on time at the hotel and transported us safely to Stone Town and back. On the way we have already learned a lot about the island and its inhabitants. The city tour was very informative and we were given enough time and space with baby for breaks and shopping stops. Everything was German-speaking and special requests were fulfilled ,wanted to visit a school class to drop off pens and small things, everything was implemented without long considering . ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect day at Stone Town & Spice Farm – highly recommended! We had a great private tour with our guide and can recommend him without restriction. The day started in Stone Town, where everything was explained to us beautifully and very vividly in German. We visited the most important historical places and received exciting background information. It was particularly pleasant that our questions were answered at all times and we never felt “passed through”. At our request, we then went through the traditional spice and fish market. There we were able to experience real, local life – authentic, original and absolutely impressive. Throughout the tour we were traveling with an air-conditioned vehicle, which was very pleasant in the temperatures. There were regular inquiries to see if everything was okay and we were always well supplied with water – really very attentive and professionally organised. A special highlight was the traditional local lunch we had wanted. We were taken to a beautiful location in the middle of a bush and jungle landscape – and the food surprised us absolutely positively. Authentic, fresh and incredibly delicious! After dinner we continued to a spice farm. This part of the tour was also very interesting and well designed. Overall, we were on the road from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. – an all-round successful day with perfect organization, a lot of knowledge, warmth and genuine hospitality. Absolutely recommend!

I came across Haji in a Facebook group when he was offering tours with a German speaking guide. We booked a one-day safari in Mikumi National Park through him. The trip was super great, everything was well organized and worked out great. We were picked up in the morning punctually by Haji at the hotel and taken to the airport. The safari guide also took great care of us and told us a lot about the park, the animals, but also the country and people. The driver also did a great job, so we could see everything we cared about that day (lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, elephants, monkeys, hyena, antelope, crocodile, hippos, div. Birds, Buffalo). Really great. We also booked a private Stone Town tour with a visit to Jozani National Park at Haji. Both were very nice and interesting. Finally we visited the Rock. That was also very impressive and must have been seen. We would always book tours with Haji. He is very friendly, reliable and does a great job.

We then scheduled several tours (Stone Town, Prison Island, Safari and Dolphin Tour). Haji was on time for pick up, super friendly and very flexible in the process of tours. He speaks German very well and has brought us closer to his country in his friendly and funny way. He always responded to our wishes - even small changes on our part he made immediately possible (we wanted to see "The Rock"; Haji immediately agreed to that). Great tour with Haji, we were picked up from the airport on time and went to a local small restaurant on the waterfront for breakfast. Great recommendation! Haji is a very attentive tour guide with a lot of detailed knowledge, who is also happy to make special requests possible. He showed us the historic Stonetown and guided us through the many alleys. In addition, we were provided with a lot of background knowledge and impressions about life on Zanzibar today. Stonetown is a must-see and must-see when you are on holiday in Zanzibar. My personal highlight was visiting Prison Island: I fell in love with the Aldabra giant schikd toads. Such fascinating animals! The boat trip there as well as the whole tour was organized by Haji very professionally, everything went smoothly. His car is well maintained and as clean as it comes directly from the car wash. The car journey was always an experience in itself due to the road conditions and the fast road users, but with Haji we felt in good hands in the car and safely transported.

We booked two tours with Haji. One of them was a private tour of Stone Town and Prison Island. Communication went smoothly in advance via WhatsApp and Haji responded very well to individual requests. We were able to book the visit to the aquarium without any problems. The tour itself was carried out by Haji's brother together with a rider. The former speaks very good German and was able to tell us a lot about the island of Zanzibar itself as well as the life, culture and history of the island. We also booked a one-day safari in Mikumi National Park. Haji himself took over the transfer to the airport. After a short flight to the mainland we were welcomed by Witness, our guide for the safari. Witness also speaks super German and was able to give us a lot of information about the national park and the animals living there. So they were two super organized trips that we can only recommend!

Besides Stone Town we also visited a spice farm and the aquarium with the water turtles. Here you can feed the turtles and swim with them. The day tour was very well organized and informative. We got Haji recommended by a couple at the hotel who have already booked their tours from Germany. We wrote Haji via WhatsApp (late evening) and also got a direct reply. We booked a safari to Mikumi National Park and guided a private day tour from Haji to Stown Town, spice farm and swimming with sea turtles. We had two unforgettable days thanks to Haji and all the contributors. In Mikumi National Park Haji was not there herself, however we had the German-speaking Witness here who spent the day with us and also spoke German very well. The private tour with Haji was very great, he speaks very good German is super nice and cared for everyone's well-being. He can explain everything in German and has an answer to every question. He has been with us almost 8h from picking up at the hotel to returning after the tour. He contributed for a wonderful time on Zanzibar and the day trip with him was a lot of fun for us. We got a good insight into the hustle and bustle of the old town by visiting various markets. A fish auction in particular was very exciting. Recently, we were able to view Old and New Town from the highest point.

The One Day Safari was fantastic and an unforgettable experience for us. We saw a lot of animals and our German speaking guide was great. Stone Town, a very old town with winding alleys and many small highlights (slave market, Freddy Mercury house, etc.) is not to be missed. Prison Island with its giant turtles was also great and interesting for us. Haji is a great, competent young man who told us a lot about people and country , thus bringing us closer to Zanzibar.
