Stonetown Private Half-day Walking Tour

Ali was an incredible guide! We used him for the full day in Stonetown and he was so knowledgeable - would definitely recommend this experience!

We met our guide at a small hotel in old Stone Down because this was where we stored bags on our way to the airport. Charisma was there promptly and made sure to ask what we wanted to accomplish with our limited time. His historical knowledge was excellent. He also took it upon himself to arrange taxi service to the airport and offered porter services of our purchases and with our luggage. Very considerate and professional!

We had a fabulous day in Stonetown with Charisma tour. We were a group of 8, including elderly people and young children. Our guide was kind, patient, flexible and highly informative. He stayed with us much longer than the tour had planned for and made sure we had a unique experience. Warmly recommended if you are in Zanzibar

Informative walking tour of Stone Town. Our guide Ameena was vey knowledgeable and explained everything during our tour every step of the way! She was very flexible with what we were interested in and hit all of the highlights. Our driver Rashid was also great and very comfortable ride back and forth to our hotel on the beach. If you are looking for an authentic tour of Stone Tiwn I highly recommend this one!

Good to explore the Zanzibar stonetown, you will see the amazing building with and hear amazing history of the zanzibar island

Honestly you can do this on your own! You can see Freddy Mercury home and the Slave trade museum on your own and just walk around the town. No tour guide needed.

A great tour of this lovely town, the guide contacted us the day before and was on time, not a rushed walk and informative with lots of local knowledge, you could also adapt if you wanted to do your own stop.

Embarking on the half-day walking tour of Stone Town was like stepping back in time. The rich tapestry of history, culture, and architecture that Stone Town offers is unparalleled, and experiencing it on foot is the best way to soak it all in.

We did a 2-day visit to Stone Town, Memba with swimming & dolphins + sunset on a Dhow in Nungwi with a wonderful Zanzibarite guide, of exemplary kindness and intelligence, who speaks French perfectly and which explains in detail the life of the Zanzibari people with their traditions. He is very educational, of exemplary patience and takes great care with his customers. I recommend it to you with your eyes closed. Charisma is for me the best guide to Zanzibar. He is always there to help us across the country, he finds us taxis and the best prices for activities on the island.
