Great tour, very knowledgeable tour guide and very friendly, takes his time to show you places you want to see. Would highly reccomend! 5 star, thanks alot mate
It was a pleasant experience and enjoyable experience. The tour guide has experience and knowledge
We have done Mikumi Safari, Salaam Cave, Mtende Beach, The Rock, Prison Island, Nakupenda Sand Bank with BBQ and Stone Town with Sefi from Paradisetourandsafari! From pick up and drop off from our hotel and arranging plane ride for the Safari then private boat t o Nakupende sand bank and BBQ nothing has been a hassle for him. We have had nothing to sort or worry about!!!
Our guide arrived at the hotel 15 mins late, wore a dirty company t-shirt with a hole under the arm, then promptly marched us to the starting point. He talked a bit about the history of Africa but was quite hard to understand. Two if the places we were supposed to visit ie House if Winders was under refurbishment and therefore closed. The Old Fort had been bought by a Dubai developer so was also closed. He gave us information about the different styles of doors and took us down the narrow streets where we found a man who was making pictures out of palm tree leaves which was very interesting. The tour only took a couple of hours and most of the info he gave us we could have read on the signs next to the buildings. I wouldn’t recommend this tour.
The tour guide was very flexible and helpful. The city tour itself went a bit quickly (I was a solo traveller, it might be different with a bigger group, and the tour did not include the Anglican Zanzibar Diocese), but then Boban helped organize a last minute snorkeling outing to Bawe Island, which was the highlight of my day!
Good tour guide, knowledge on Zanzibar history, a good visit
We also did the Spice Farm tour with lunch. Fantastic history tour with the most knowledgeable guide! The Stone Town tour was unforgettable with the guide -Salum Jumane! He knows his history and went out of his way to assist us in payment issues and even offered to pay with his own money! Totally honest and reliable, would highly recommended.
Would definitely recommend booking with paradise tours for your trip to zanzibar. The stone tour was incredible with our tour guide, he was very knowledgable about everything. We seen Freddy Mercurys house this tour was $10 each (which you pay yourself) but was worth it. Our guide curated a plan that suited us, after the stone town we then went on a sunset cruise which was amazing, the boat had a band playing traditional music with people dancing. The day was fantastic so I would highly recommend.
Learnt a lot, I enjoyed it. The tour guide was going a bit fast at the beginning but he was knowledgeable. For a 3hr tour it was worth it
It is good to have a guide for the tour because some place need local to guide. A little bit hot during midday but still nice to look around.
Good to have you to be guide on this tour. We have seen many places interesting. We recommend this tour with you. Thank you.
Great tour! We got to see all the important sites in Stone Town such as the old market and the Slave Trade Exhibition Site. Our guide even went the extra mile and took us up to a 360 viewpoint of Stone Town. All our questions were patiently answered. If you want to try local sugar cane juice, he knows the best places!
Ali the professional tour guide of Zanzibar is amazing. He guided us walked through all the heritage sites of stone town, explained all the histories to us very well. I would recommend to you when you visit Zanzibar.
I could get pick up from hotel + tour of Stone town even though I contacted paradise tours at the very last minute. Every one was very nice and helpful
We did 6 tours in total and we cannot fault any of them. Our trip wouldn’t have been as good as it was if it wasn’t for these tours. They were well organised, punctual, great value for money, informative and above all friendly & safe. He also arranged drivers for us on days we didn’t have tours with him, one day he even helped us organise a quad bike tour with another company. If you are ever on Zanzibar there is no better place for all of your tourism needs. 10/10 service.
Quite hard to understand the guides English. I was travelling alone and noone else on the tour.. I felt a bit uncomfortable with his personal questions by the end.
This was an interesting tour and a great introduction into the history of Zanzibar. Seif our guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable.A great tour of this interesting and historic area. Our guide took us round the main sights.
Thank you Seif for tta tour in Stone Town!We walk through the town, and Seif giving us all the important information. We just loved it!
Thank you Seif for that chilled tour. It was a walk starting by the water and moving slowly towards the market. He gave us a lot of information and had an answer for every question we asked. Only sometimes it was a bit difficult to understand. We can recommend him.
Very professional and best in town. Great experience. We spent more than 2 hours go8ng through stone town
Saif did an amazing job on the Stonetown and the Zanzibar Spice Tour. He was very patient and accommodating. I especially loved the Spice Tour because it gave me a lot of information on medicinal plants and herbs used to heal the body. Lunch was delicious and I can’t wait to take my sons next year.
Saif a great tour guide very knowledgeable & friendly. Highly recommend him when you visit Zanzibar to book your tours. Big thank you…!!
Seiph found us walking in Stone Town for a promenade and he offered to organize a tour, I asked him to give us his number so I could confirm later on WhatsApp with him He was really nice and showed us around in Prison Island, the tortoises (if you go at the right time you’ll be able to feed them), the old prison, a couple of dikdiks Then, when the tour of the Island was done we went diving and checking some coral reefs which was very cool as we were the only one the spots (but maybe it was just our lucky day) Finally we went back on the boat to go back to the hotel (just on time to see the sunset from the boat)
Seif was really friendly and we had a lot of fun! He spent the whole day with us and showed us the city centre, organized an ad hoc trip to Prison Island for us next to that also took us to all the shops we were looking for. We felt well taken care of and would definitely recommend!!
Seef was a wonderful tour guide, very honest and reliable. We did 2 tours with him the prison and nakupenda island as well as the dolphin tour. He picked us up from the hotel organises a boat and snacks . Then for the dolphin tour he organised a car to the kimkazi and a boat for the tour. Very honest and reliable 🙂
Friendly guide and very informative. Easy and quick arrangements made online and via Whatsapp directly with the guide.
We had Saif as our guide. He was well prepared and showed us patiently around in Stonetown where we saw a lot, and bypassed the spice market and the market. Super nice trip where we were picked up at our hotel and driven back.
A very interesting city because of its many invasions and therefore these different cultural aspects. Do not hesitate to visit the market of DARAJANI. Outing made with the excellent DALLAMAN guide that you can contact via WhatsApp: + 255710713436
