Step into everyday island life on the Zanzibar Traditions & People Tour, a full-day cultural experience connecting you with local communities and sustainable initiatives. Begin in the village of Muyuni, where welcoming residents offer insight into rural Zanzibari life and customs passed down through generations. Walk through the village, engage with locals, and, if open, visit the local school to understand its role within the community. Continue to Mwani Zanzibar in Paje, a pioneering seaweed centre supporting female farmers through sustainable production and environmental care. The tour concludes with a stop at the iconic Rock Restaurant, dramatically set on a rocky outcrop in the Indian Ocean. Though visited for photos only, it provides a memorable finale to a day rich in culture, people, and place.
