Full Day Private Hidden Beach Escape

Very low value for money Guide seems unhappy to be there, does not speak unless spoken too, agenda of the day is unclear and the start was very chaotic. The second part of the day consisting of walking along kendwa and nungwi beaches. The overall experience felt very cheap and unprepared.

For us personally, the most interesting part of the day was the very beginning when we went snorkeling. That was amazing, although there were a ton of other boats out at the same time, so it wasn't a private experience at all. But the fish were amazing, and my guide Mzii, was very helpful. However, it made me nervous that I wasn't offered a life jacket or fins. I'm not a great swimmer and the water was choppy, so I was nervous. Thankfully, I did well (much to my surprise, honestly). We also enjoyed feeding the turtles at the "aquarium", which is not an aquarium in the Western sense. But it felt a bit exploitative, and I questioned the ethicality of being in the water with the turtles. There wasn't much else to the rest of the day, and lunch was not included. There was never anything private except the transfers and the boat ride. The beaches are all very crowded. But our guides were lovely and we really enjoyed them, and the views were beautiful.

Our friends’ day out with Becka turned into one of our favorite Zanzibar memories. Snorkeling near Mnemba felt like swimming in an aquarium and we even spotted dolphins. Feeding turtles at Baraka was unexpectedly fun and exploring the Nungwi village added a cool local touch. Ending the day chilling on Kendwa Beach was perfect.

Our family had an unforgettable day on the Hidden Beach Escape with Minazi Tour and Safari Co. Ltd. Becka organized everything perfectly. From the scenic drive to the secluded beach to the warm hospitality and great local insights, every detail was handled with care. Becka made our day smooth, relaxing, and truly memorable.

The trip was excellent - full of memories to reflect back on in the coming years. The excursions started with Beke picking me up at 6:00am at the recommendation of the Captain of the dolphin trip. It turned out to be an excellent recommendation because we were in the water before so many other boats and I had a chance to see multiple sightings of dolphins. I had a ln opportunity to snorkel in the beautiful Indian Ocean but declined - I just wasn’t feeling getting wet. But the entire experience was surreal- out on the water (Indian Ocean) in a fast boat, watching for Dolphins. From there we visited a few beaches which were beautiful - white sand and gorgeous water. The beach was one of the most beautiful I’ve experienced. We finished up our day at the turtle conservation where I had a chance tho declined to swim with the turtles. I did feed them and learned some interesting tidbits about them. The guide, Dukee, was excellent. After the final excursion, Beke dropped me at a local restaurant which was fabulous. I am vegetarian tho the offerings were extensive - fish and chicken entrees, wraps, smoothies, grilled vegetables, etc. I had the vegetable wrap with fries, and a tropical juice. The food was prepared from scratch - I could tell. I don’t know the last time I had fresh French fries from freshly cut potatoes. The taste was excellent and portion size more than sufficient. I actually took a to go bag. The price was very reasonable. My meal with the juice was right at $8.00 US. Beke, the owner, was incredibly flexible throughout the trip. I am a fickle client. Beke communicated with me throughout the excursions, ensuring that my experience was tailored to meet my expectations. I so appreciated his flexibility. He was personable, professional and made me feel safe as a solo traveler. I would highly recommend this company for excursions. Cheers, Beke!

Beka was amazing!! Could not of asked for a better experience. An amazing tour guide and driver and we left some items in the car and he made the journey back to give it to us without any problem at all. Absolutely highly highly recommend wish I could do it again!

Such a great day. Beka was very warm and friendly. Swimming with dolphins looked so unreal. Be ready to wake early in the morning but you wont be disappointed. The beaches we've visited were amazing. We would definitely recommend this tour.

What a fun day out! the absolute highlight was swimming with the turtles at the aquarium. What a pleasant and unexpected surprise. We had fun the whole day - the snorkeling was incredible, swimming with dolphins is always an adventure and, as mentioned above, swimming with the turtles was an absolute treat. There is nothing better like chasing dolphins early in the morning. Truly a dream. The captain was great along with his son who was the tour guide.

It was an interesting day due to a proper organisation. Everything was done as promised. We booked them afterwards to get from the hotel to the airport, because they were reliable and honest. But don‘t expect lonely beaches or silent places. A lot of tourists were fascinated by the idea of swimming with the dolphins and booked a boat at the same time. This I would never do again. I was really scared about the wonderful creatures. There are hundreds of boats out there really chasing the dolphins. I would skip that part. Snorkeling was nice. Eventhough worthy to see was the protecting area for the turtles.

Amazing 10/10 our guide Beka was amazing gave us as much time as we wanted at the beaches and the sea turtles noting was rushed at all I recommend not wearing a green swimsuit to the aquarium as the turtles will think it is food lol 😂 what an amazing day and experience. you also have to be a half decent swimmer to swim with the dolphins as there are a lot of boats and other guides trying to follow the dolphins you are hopping in and our of the boat. There was a lot more people there than I wanted as I felt a little bad chasing the dolphins around I find any tour you do will be like this as it is just how it is unfortunately but this was noting to do with Beka or the tour this is just the tourism itself. Beka showed us the fish market and a couple of other things that was great he was very knowledgeable and anything we wanted to see he was more than happy to help 10/10 service. Best part of the trip was definitely the natural aquarium

Indeed, upon arrival at the hotel Beka and Amour come looking for you and with his sympathy, asks you your needs and shows you the traditional side of Zanzibar. The excursion to the island is magnificent, we were able to see lots of dolphins. Then swimming with the turtles was magnificent. I highly recommend

Trip advisor review Our driver Beka was punctual, friendly, and very safe. He aimed to please and tailored the tour activities according to our preferences. His suggestion for a 6 am start so we could swim along dolphins with fewer people was great. Instead of buying lunch he suggested that we request a breakfast box from our hotel and we ate it leisurely on Kendwa Beach. The car was clean with A/C and working seatbelts. Thanks for a memorable tour.

It was a very fun and time managed tour. We started early and managed to see the dolphins, didn't swim as it wasn't safe with a lot of boats in the area. We asked to leave the crowd and do the snorkelling earlier, so managed to see a lot of the snorkelling area and ecosystem before the rest of the crowd arrived. Afterwards we went to see the aquarium with the turtles, it was all fun and games until one decided my leg was a nice lunch time snack! One down from the bucket list! Beka, our lovely driver, then took us to Nungwi and Kendwa. We opted not to have lunch there and eat at our hotel afterwards in any event, but the offer was made to suggest some nice place. Special remark to Beka as he got us sweet corn on the cob from a local market as we drove back to the hotel. 5/5 experience :)

We had w great experience! The driver Beka was helpful and very polite. He contact us the day before so we could prepare already. On the trip he told us about the Island and the fisherman’s village. He showed us around. Next time we will choose again for Beka!

We booked up to do this tour after seeing many good reviews and we were not disappointed. It was arranged for us to be picked up earlier than planned so we could have more of a chance of seeing the dolphins and it certainly paid off. We were able to swim with the dolphins and enjoyed the weather fishes at the reef too. We were then taken to the turtle caves were we could swim with the turtles and feed them. After a look at the fish markets we had time to chill on the lovely Kendwa beach were we were given plenty of time to relax and do our own thing. Beka was very informative as was Mzii and our boat captain done a wonderful job of finding the dolphins for us. Highly recommend , an amazing experience.

Beka, the driver, was punctual for the pickup. We were provided with a full-day timetable for our itinerary. The dolphin tour and snorkeling experience were incredible, and Baraka Aquarium was a highlight—I'd love to spend an entire day there. Beka also recommended some great and affordable restaurants for lunch. He was very friendly and attentive, making sure to take care of his guests. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Beka our tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. We did everything we wanted to do see dolphins, see sea turtles, spice farm, beach, and my favorite the sunset drum boat tour. I don’t think our trip would have been as great if it wasn’t for all his help. He understood what we wanted out of this trip and delivered.

Beka was an amazing guide. We left at 6am to get to go swim with the dolphins and swim with turtles. Getting to see more of Zanzibar was great.

We started off early in the morning, leaving the hotel at 6.00. According to the captain that was to be able see the dolphins. They scatter later dies to the crowds. After getting on a boat and having an adventourous trip over the barrier reef we we able to spot them. The day continued with snorkeling in the shallow waters next to the Mnenba island. The driver then took us through nice villages on Zanzibar to different beaches and to the "natural aquarium" where we were able to see, feed and swim with turtles, which was a lovely experience. All in all, a great day. I'd like to specifically thank the driver, who was knowledgeable and happy to accommodate us and not rush us in any way. If a anything, be prepared for getting up early in the morning, eating something beforehand and getting splashed with water. Start in your swimsuits and/or clothes you don't mind getting wet. Ensure that your sensitive electronic is tucked away safely in splash-resistant backpacks.

We had an amazing time on the tour. Got to swim with dolphins, did some snorkeling after and hang out at the beach. Also got to feed some turtles at the aquarium. Such a great experience! My tour guide Mr Beka was punctual and very resourceful . He had a very clean car with great AC. Definitely recommend

Unbelievable. It was like 10h, as he suggested eating on a super cool beach, there were 2 restaurants and we chose the baraka. Typical food very good, and lobster from 9 dollars. The experience with the dolphins was great, I had them less than half a meter, and the turtles a show. Although he did not get a guide in Spanish, we did not lack anything. Very attentive and a very pleasant trip. It communicates in advance by WhatsApp.

Very nice driver, I can only recommend. Only on the beaches I would have liked a little more time, but I also have to say that my hotel was at the other end of Zanzibar and we already had a round trip time of over 3 hours to the beaches. Had it been closer, we probably could have spent more time on the beaches.

Alles in allen ganz ok. Der Fahrer für uns von A nach B. Leider keine Infos zu Land und Leute. Hatte eher was von Taxi. Geplant war Start 9 Uhr, aber der Fahrer bestand auf 6 Uhr Abfahrt, wegen der Delphine. Wir waren dann ca. 8 Uhr bei den Booten. Es ging schnell raus auf dem Auto ab ins Boot ohne Komentar. Die Bootsfahrt war ok. Delphine haben wir nach einiger Zeit kurz gesehen. Hier hätte man auch schnorcheln können. Zurück im Wagen ging es dann ca. 9:39 Uhr zum versteckten Strand, der leider keiner war, sondern ein großer Strand mit vielen Hotels. Hier waren wir dann etwas Essen und bummeln. Nach ca. 2 Stunden ging es zu Aquarium. Hier konnten wir Schildkröten füttern oder mit ihnen schwimmen. Der Zoo nebenan kostet extra. Nun war die Tour auch vorbei und wir fuhren zurück ins Hotel. Ca. 14:30 Uhr waren wir wieder dort. Soweit ok aber recht teuer für Fahrten von A nach B.

Very good trip. The guide was really nice. Take us on a relaxing boat trip. There we saw dolphins and then snorkeled. Lots of great fish. On a sandbank nearby we got very good fruit. Then we drove to Kendwa Beach. It was a great beach. Little bullshit from sellers on this beach. When we finished there, we drove to the turtles. These were big. Very fun feeding them. Fight great trip and can recommend this one.
