The service was seamless from the initial contact. The team was very responsive and friendly. Our guide was warm and friendly and quite knowledgeable about the history of Zanzibar. Overall, they made our trip extremely memorable.

If you're going to Zanzibar, you HAVE to book with Coastline Tours and Travel! 1000/10 experience. Mo is a master planner who was always there when we needed him and always answer every question that I had. He always made sure we were good and never needed anything. Our driver Hamza kept us laughing and was always on time, and our guide Othman was so knowledgeable and made us feel so safe (huge for non-swimmers!). Eddy captured the most breathtaking photos and videos that we will cherish forever. They started as our guides, but they ended the trip as family. All thanks to them, we have moments turned into memories for life.Best trip ever! 🇹🇿✨

Excellent service at a reasonable cost - Before my trip the company messaged me on WhatsApp tp confirm the booking which was great because then I had a point of contact. The driver was friendly and professional, the vehicle was in good condition. Everything worked as I hoped it would and was hassle free.

Driver arrived over an hour late and only after I called the company. obtaining cell service or WiFi in the airport was difficult. The driver was polite and apologized and the vehicle a very nice van. In the end being stranded for over an hour in a foreign airport is not why you prepay for the service

We used this company for our transfers to and from the airport - both were at odd hours. Didn’t have any issues- driver was on time and very kind.

Could not find driver so after 45 minutes got another ride. Not clear in mixup however they did refund our money. Thank you for quickly refunding.

Transfer was good it’s exactly what you expect. Nothing extra special. It was over priced, on my way back to the airport I got a taxi (they all have the same type of vehicle, so it’s not like you’re getting a bigger vehicle by going through this booking) they charged me $45! So to get charged $60 for two people was overpriced. Also the option I picked was “airport to/from hotel” for me that sounds like round trip, apparently it wasn’t. So be careful. If I had the chance to do it all over again, I would just get a taxi at the airport.

This company also offers day and half day tours that are worth considering given their professionalism (our schedule was already booked out but will keep them in mind for our next trip).

Driver was waiting for us as arranged at the airport. The vehicle was very comfortable and in excellent condition. Khalid was very polite and informative, as we transferred from the airport to Nungwi area. We will use this company again!

As a woman traveling alone I felt safe with the airport pick up which was as 11:00 PM at night to my resort an hour away. The driver was kind and nice and was on time. They made the experience feel seamless. I liked their services so much that I booked them for a private tour of the city during my stay in Zanzibar.

Definitely easy pickup. As promised, once I exited the airport my driver had my name on a board, and it was about 15 minutes to my hotel in Stone Town. Easy to book, and this is a great option after a long flight

It can be a bit scary for a solo traveller coming into a strange country. My taxi driver was there waiting for me to take me to my hotel. On the way he pointed out various places and gave me some tips on a variety of excursions I could do. His knowledge was excellent and it was as if I had a private tour guide. I can highly recommend this group - they are reliable and the drivers are top notch. I’ve booked various trips with them during my stay and especially to solo travellers …you are in safe hands 😊

Clean car, friendly driver, service minded. Because of a small misunderstanding the driver was not at the enterance waiting for us, but that was solved quickly by very services minded drivers avaiting the passengers to be picked up

We booked this for our transfer from Zanzibar airport to our hotel in Nungwi. Our driver was waiting for us with a sign when we arrived and he was very nice. The car had air con and was very comfortable. We recommend this service.

I was a solo traveler to Zanzibar and my hotel’s airport shuttle service never responded to my request for pick up so I began to panic. I looked around on the different sites and I found Coastline Tours. The reviews seemed reliable so I went with them. I booked them last minute (like the same day I was arriving) and they picked me up on time even though my flight was delayed. Top highlights: - Abdul is very responsive. - Service is on time. - Very safe. My flight coming into Zanzibar and leaving were at 10 PM and 6 AM respectively, which meant I was picked up both times when it was dark outside. I was greeted at the airport with my name on a sign and then we went to the van. The van was air conditioned and there was water. The wifi was not working for me at the time but we tried to connect multiple times. I used my service instead. The ride was smooth and I made it to my hotel and airport safely. I also used Abdul and his team at Coastline Tours to do a tour a stone town. This was due to their team being more responsive than the Riu excursion service. We took a walking tour around stone town and stopped for lunch before completing the tour and being dropped back off to the hotel. The tour was informative. My drop off at the airport needed to be at 4 AM since my flight left at 6 AM. Khaleed (another driver of Coastline) was there waiting for me. I was really grateful because I knew a 2:30 AM hotel pickup was early but I needed it because of my flight time. If you are looking for an airport transfer look no further.

Abdul arrived on time and was very nice. He gave me a little tour abs history of the island as he drove me to the destination. We communicated via email even before I arrived to make sure I knew he’d be waiting for me when I landed. Book this one!

Abdul is a very safe driver. The streets of Zanzibar can be very hectic yet I always felt safe with him. He knows his way around town and even diverted our path once to save time based on traffic. He is punctual, kind, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him as a source of travel within any part of the island.

We used Coastline services for our airport to hotel transfer and back again. Abdula, our driver, is a gem of a person. He was absolutely great. We needed to pick up local SIM cards on the way to the hotel and it was early. But he was so helpful in finding the SIM cards and even negotiated the price for us! Same on the journey back. We needed a quick detour and he was more than happy to accommodate. His driving style was very safe. And is a great conversationalist too. And will give you great insights into Zanzibar and the culture and what to do and what to avoid. Highly recommend using their service. They are quick to respond on WhatsApp.

I went to TripAdvisor looking for Airport transfer to our hotel because we were going to arrive at night, flight scheduled 21:15. I choose this company based on few reviews. Sent request on email, received quotation with payment link, had my doubts before paying ( what if it’s a scam), paid anyway 😅. Our connecting flight from Kenya 🇰🇪 got delayed for about 1 hr 30 minutes 🙆🏽‍♀️. I then sent Abdul email cos I didn’t have his contact number, telling him about the delay. When we arrived in Zanzibar I saw his reply that we mustn’t worry they will wait for us. Arrived, delayed again for another Hour or so cos we had to take PCR test on arrival plus VISA info. Yooooo…… 🙆🏽‍♀️🙆🏽‍♀️🙆🏽‍♀️. When we finally finished at about 11:30pm, two cars were waiting for us. What a relief. Transferred us to our hotel which is 1 hour 10 minutes. Arrived safely. I 100% recommend this company. They took care of my family arriving in Zanzibar for the first time. GOD bleed you guys

I booked coastlines tours via Viator for my airport pick up in Zanzibar, on Nov 3rd. I was a little apprehensive about booking a private vehicle since this was my first solo trip and the hotel was 1hr 20mins away from the airport. My driver Abdul was very welcoming I felt comfortable and safe in his company. On our way to the hotel he stopped and brought mangoes and coconut for me. Which he did not have to do. It was very much appreciated. He is good at explaining the rich history of Tanzania to me. I would recommend him anytime to friend and family who are traveling to Tanzania in the future.
