Run away from this organizer ! we booked the tour 10 days before, the organizer never booked our flight ticket, when we arrived at the airport nothing was ready and the guide wasn't even here. If you book this tour with this organizer you will regret it trust me.

Godfrey and his team were great. We originally wanted a selous day trip however he organised for an alternative to mikumi as selous was no longer available, he was very prompt and helped out on short notice. It was so engaging and we got straight into the action - when we landed within 30 minutes we had seen elephants and even a couple of lions on the hunt. We saw baboons, leapords, giraffes, hippos etc :) special shout out to Alex our tour guide who was very knowledgeable and also Abraham our driver who picked us up from our hotel and back with no issues.

Nobody picked me up - was waiting tmat 05.00 in the dark and they just didnt came. The next morning 05.00 same game - just nobody came!

WARNING - do not book with this company. We paid over $1100 for this safari, transferred the money as requested by Godfrey only to be informed the evening before our supposed safari that it was cancelled. Then the responses to our messages reduced and we requested a full refund given there was no more time left in our holiday. Despite so many promises of a full refund by Godfrey, we have not received anything refunded to our account. Completely scammed and it’s now over 6 weeks later. Heartbreaking as this was meant to be a special holiday for my family. Please don’t anyone else be fooled into booking any trip with Godfrey and Experience Zanzibar Tours. We managed to successfully book a safari with Njema Holidays and had such an amazing safari and perfect customer service for every part of that booking process and on the day and highly recommend them if you actually want to go on a safari that you’ve paid for.

Our safari was canceled two separate times : November 30th and December 2nd. After the second time, we requested a refund.

The one day safari was incredible and so worth it. Considering it was one day - we saw so many incredible animals and views. Our tour guide was wonderful as well and very informative talking about the animals which I loved. The overall experience was fantastic and very well organised. I genuinely felt like I was in a movie 🤩

The whole organisation and communication were perfect. The kind driver came to our hotel to pick us up to the airport. All was easy. In the park we saw all the animals and felt safe and the informations given by the guide were very helpful. Perfect lunch. I recommend 100% !!!!

We had the best time today, a dream come true! Our driver Eric made sure to take us to the special spots before everyone else and our guide Collin knew so much about all the animals. The way he talked about them was very entertaining. We would book this tour again, it was incredible!

Amazing! If this is your first time in East Africa, this is a must-do. It is easily one of the highlights of my time in Zanzibar. I was a bit nervous, but the company confirmed the booking via WhatsApp, the airport pickup was prompt, and the safari itself was unbelievable. I didn’t know what to anticipate, so I was surprised that the plane landed us in the middle of the park. There is no airport to speak of, but I immediately saw an elephant! Tips: (1) If you are tall, be sure to be one of the first people on the plane by lining up right away. You’ll want an exit seat and there is no assigned seating. Otherwise you’ll be very uncomfortable in the right seating. (2) The plane ride is only 45 minutes, but it can be very hot. You won’t regret a personal fan. (3) You’ll be hungry because chances are you won’t eat breakfast before the 6am pickup. Lunch isn’t until 12:30. Plan ahead and you won’t be stuck with the one (terrible) cafe at the airport. A sandwich and chips would have been clutch. Water was provided, but if you freeze a bottle of water the night before you’ll be happy you did. (4) The provided lunch is buffet style and we found it quite good. I did fine as a vegetarian. (5) This is the time for a good camera if you’re in the market for one. Be sure to bring a backup battery for your cell phone if you’re using it for photos because you’ll be on it nonstop all day. Enjoy!

The whole experience was amazing. The guides were talented and made sure we had a good time. We saw all the animals i wanted to see, and the lunch was great. Overall i would definitly recomend this trip. Getting so close to the lions was the highlight for me.

Booked the tour for the 6th of September and literally on the day, about 1 am, got a text saying the plane was fully booked on the 6th and 7th. I was given an alternate date of the 8th. On the 7th I didn’t receive any information on wether we were going on the tour the next day. I had to text the people late afternoon only to get a reply at 7pm after I texted, the second time, asking for my money back if the tour was not going ahead. The whole thing was such a huge inconvenience as we had to change our holiday plans to accommodate the new date and the guys didn’t even apologise or acknowledge the inconvenience this whole thing caused. I wish I could give zero stars because I got nothing but a massive headache from these guys and how unprofessional they are. I would say stay away from these guys as there’s no guarantee you’ll actually go on the tour on the dates you booked and the customer service is horrible.

Have seen a lot of animals. Drivers was very kind. Nice expierance. Mikumi is a park where u can easily see much more in 1 day.

This trip was amazing! Everything was very organized from transfer pick up to flight to Mikumi, lunch and back! Our tour guide Nixon was sooo awesome and knowledgeable and we saw so many animals!

Wonderful day out exploring the national park. Saw loads of animals, had a delicious locally prepared lunch and got educated in the different animals that live in the area. The whole thing was very well organized and every one was extremely professional.

10/10 Wonderful experience! Highly recommend if you are looking to see wildlife up close. The drivers will allow you to take pictures and see the animals in their natural habitat! The food for lunch is also amazing!

10/10 Great experience with very friendly staff. Immediately we saw animals as soon as we landed. The drive allows you to take pics from the car of animals and the animals can get very close to the car. This adventure I recommend for groups, couples, and single travelers! Make sure to bring a good camera or cellphone to capture some pictures and videos!

Everything went as arrenged, transfer from hotel back to hotrl, flight and our guide he knows where animals direction . I real recommend this trip to all...

All was good the driver wait for us in the lobby hotel in time in the airport many agents help us to do check in and at the arrival the cars was Ready to go. All was simple and good organization

My daughter and I had a wonderful time in Mikumi National Park. We woke up very early to get to the airport on time, and we flew to the mainland in a small airplane. Once we stepped off the airplane, I was amazed to see how breathtakingly beautiful it looked there.

Excursion nobody to meet us at the airport in addition we learned that it is cancel refund in 3 to 5 days get up early for nothing on vacation while I paid 1000 euros plus the taxi round trip frankly tooadvisor good to cash the money may not serious

The safari day was great and everything went very well. We were very well taken care of from the hotel departure in the morning until the return in the evening. The safari was amazing! We were able to see many animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras and baboons thanks to our guide who was fantastic and very dedicated. Thank you!

Picked up from the hotel on time and brought to the airport where everything went smoothly.Afterwards we flew with a small plane and were after an hour in Mikumi National Park where the guides were already waiting for us with the cars. It was always divided into groups of 6 our guide was Benson. With him we spent the whole day we saw many animals to which Benson gave us a lot of information in English as most of the group understood English but also offered to speak in German. Also, everything was thought of in the car there were drinks such as water and Coke for lunch we went to a camp where already a lunch buffet with plenty of choice was waiting for us.After the break we continued. When the safari ended we were taken back to the planes and back to the hotel

Bonsoir J'avais réservé un safari au parc Mikumi le 3/12 Le prestataire n'est pas venu me chercher, j'ai attendu 1h30 car il n'avait pas prévenu que le safari était post posé au 4/12 Le 4/12 le prestataire à envoyé 1 message à 2h30 la nuit pour dire que le tour était annulé....et que je serai remboursé !

The trip was great. From the pick-up from the hotel in Zanzibar, to the flight, safari, food and the transfer back to the hotel, everything was well organized. At first we weren't sure whether a day trip was even worth it. However, we were able to spot the first animals relatively quickly. As the day went on, there were more and more... giraffes, loads of elephants with their offspring, lions with little Simbas :P, zebras, hippos and much more. So all in all, a great tour and highly recommended if you don't have too many days on the island and still need time for other activities.

The entire tour was very well organized. As a tourist you don't have to worry about anything. Our driver drove us from the hotel to the airport on time. After that everything was also well organized. The landing by plane in the middle of Mikumi Park was really breathtaking. We were able to see a lot of animals on the safari, many thanks to our tour guide and the best driver :-) we even got to see a leopard (rare)

Very poor organization. Departure at 5 a.m. from our hotel, arrival at 5:45 a.m. the airport for a plane at 8 a.m. Not to mention that our departure was supposed to be at 5:30 a.m. and it was brought forward :::)). And then delivered to ourselves. Really disappointed given the price

Everything very well organized from the pick-up in the hotel to the flight in Cessna and to the indispensable Mustapha our guide that led us to see lions, elephants, zebras, gnus, giraffes, antelopes, hippopotams, monkeys, crocodiles, buffaloes, crabs and a myriad of birds of all colors....imperdible

Fantastic day. Perfect organization, no waiting between taxi, plane and 4x4. To do absolutely even for a day, you are given the opportunity to discover the main animals in their natural environment, the seaside Zanzibar contrast and the mikumi national park is great. Thanks again to Victor our guide for his energy and good mood. No hesitation!!!

We stayed in this park only one day (excursion purchased in Zanzibar by Nipotino) and I think it is one of the best memories that my wife and I have of our honeymoon. We saw hundreds of zebras and wildebeest, giraffes, impalas, elephants, hippos, warthogs and just before leaving a pack of lions!!!!!! If you are in Zanzibar I strongly recommend doing this excursion!

We had a great day in the Mikumi reserve! We came across a guide who was very pleasant and passionate about animals, he made us wander all over the reserve to show us as many animals as possible. I recommend!!

A breathtaking and unforgettable day with my daughter. We were able to admire elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, hypopothames very close.

Just hammer. Our guide took us to the interesting places and gave a lot of valuable additional information. The group size in the car (6) was ideal. In the end then from the car virtually directly into the plane was also great. This was a beautiful safari trip which is definitely recommended
