It was an amazing hotel with beautiful rooms, food and views. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating, recommending local cocktails and doing anything we needed. We travelled here from our wedding and it was the perfect honeymoon destination! Our room with pool and sea views was incredible and our massage on our private roof terrace was so relaxing! We Would definitely return.
Our honeymoon stay at Upendo Beach Boutique Hotel was truly exceptional. We stayed in our own private villa right on the beach, which was scrupulously clean, featured thoughtful eco-friendly amenities, and offered uninterrupted views of the ocean. What made our stay so memorable was the genuine warmth and professionalism of the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive - nothing ever felt like too much trouble. They went out of their way to make my husband's birthday special by setting up a beautiful dinner directly on the beach, complete with a cake. The food at the restaurant was delicious throughout our trip. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and we cannot recommend this property highly enough.
As a resident, lunch at Upendo is always a treat, so it was the ideal choice for a visiting foreign friend's birthday celebration. Even though we arrived early our outside ocean facing table with a fabulous view was ready, and we were warmly greeted by the Upendo team. Upendo has a hard to choose from fusion menu, focusing on fresh, seasonal local ingredients, with a regular consistency in plating. We chose a variety of seafood dishes between us, each one perfectly cooked, exquisitely plated and delicious. Lunch without the salted caramel cheesecake for dessert isn’t lunch … it’s a must! The serving team provided attentive, excellent service. A big thank you to Jamie, Saaleh and the Upendo team for making this a special occasion for my friends.
This place is amazing. The food is perfect. Good selection of wine, well made cocktails. They gave us a towel to use the pool. The music set the vibe.
Everything was great. I was the only person in the hotel at the time. The staff were very nice. A perfect blend of care accommodation, and letting me have my free time to relax the food was spectacular along with the views.
