Sevi Boutique Hotel

We have just returned home from an amazing 20-day trip to Zanzibar🌊☆⋆｡🪼𖦹°‧★🐚, a vacation that was definitely worth every moment! For our last seven days, we stayed at the SeVi Boutique Hotel in Tropical Garden Bungalow No. 6. The bungalow was very spacious and private, with a super comfortable large bed and a mini-fridge that kept our water cold. We also loved the turndown service every evening where they got the room and mosquito net ready for the night. The only small tweak would be making the outdoor shower a bit more private. The entire team, from reception and security to the restaurant staff, chefs, and spa team, was extremely service-minded, smiling, and friendly. Getting a huge hug from the staff when leaving really says it all! The location is breathtaking°:•.🐠*.🧜🏻‍♀️•🪸.•:°, offering incredible views of the Indian Ocean and Mnemba Island. Every day there are plenty of ocean activities nearby, from snorkeling and diving to sandbank visits and appreciating the stunning turquoise waters. (While dolphin safaris are offered, they felt a bit too much like "dolphin hunting," which is hard to control, so we preferred the other activities). The food was fantastic. Breakfast was delightful with delicious homemade bread, juice, and marmalade, more than enough to start the day. I love that they focus on seasonal ingredients, a practice the rest of the world could learn from! Just a small suggestion: the menu should update to reflect what is actually in season (for example, removing mango dishes when mangoes are out of season). That said, every meal was fresh, tasty, and beautifully prepared, huge kudos to the kitchen staff! My only constructive critique is the entrance at the front gate. It is quite uneven and almost dangerous, especially when arriving at night. Improving this would be a small investment that makes a much safer and better first impression to match the rest of the wonderful stay. Thank you all for a lovely week. I already miss the calming sound of the palm trees and the ocean waves until we meet again! NB: A special highlight was my birthday during our stay—the staff went above and beyond to make it unforgettable! They decorated our room beautifully with flowers and towel art, and celebrated her with singing and a delicious cake. It was a day she will cherish forever.

If I could leave 0 stars i would. Arrived to find a dead rat in the room. It had clearly been dead a few days so the room hadn't been cleaned and they have a rat problem! Staff very unhelpful in getting refund and manager nowhere to be seen. They simply offered us an upgraded room which would clearly not change the fact their hotel has a rat problem. Don't stay here! We left and stayed somewhere else. Man on reception thought he was doing as a favour by paying for the taxi- clearly that doesn't make up for a terrible experience. Choose another hotel from the numerous great ones on this coast.

Absolute paradise for a relaxing getaway! We had a fantastic stay at the SeVi Boutique Hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you are looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating vacation, this is the perfect place. Here is what made our stay so excellent: The Rooms: Beautiful, very comfortable, and wonderfully quiet. The Staff: Exceptionally nice, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. The Food: Absolutely top-tier culinary quality – it truly couldn't be better! The Activities: The ideal location for swimming, snorkeling, and exploring traditional villages and spice farms. Verdict: A highly recommended hidden gem for a perfect, relaxing holiday. We would love to come back!

Excellent Stay I had a wonderful stay at SeVi Boutique Hotel Zanzibar. Everything was excellent, from the beautiful location and relaxing atmosphere to the comfortable rooms and delicious food. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay, always making sure we felt welcome and comfortable. The service was excellent, and the whole experience was truly memorable. A beautiful boutique hotel with a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend SeVi Boutique Hotel Zanzibar and would definitely stay here again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
