A great resort, beautiful beach and pool, the hotel staff is very nice and will help with anything you need (I had a back ache and the manager had pain medication delivered to us from a local pharmacy - it really saved me). Highly recommended for families and singles looking for a serene and wonderful stay.
The most beautiful beach with such fine sand; there is a huge difference between high and low tide. It is fascinating to explore the marine life, especially the sea cucumbers that release a potent, sticky ink. You should wear water shoes due to sharp shells at low tide, though you can go barefoot at high tide. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It is great to be able to borrow a kayak for free to explore the area. There is a mangrove forest right nearby, home to fascinating mudskippers and crabs. Good sun loungers, a swimming pool, and a bar featuring happy hour and plenty of games. The room comes with a mosquito net around the bed for the night, a screen door, and insect spray—all big pluses. There is a seating area outside the ground-floor room. Friendly staff who take the time to chat bouth in bar, resturants and reception. Hajji is incredibly attentive and makes sire the sunbeds , cayacks are nice, pocks. fresh coconuts to the bar. A bit expencive food. The resturants naturlig needs to know at lunch wedder you want dinner at their place or not to calculate amount of personell on daily basis. They offer dinner at beach and have two resturants. We tried out different local places also in neigbourhood.
A day visit, lunch and sundowners to watch the beautiful sunset. Linda & Kennedy were very hospitable and Ali & Abu served us really well. Entrance cover 40$ for two, was used up on food and beverages. Comfortable place for an afternoon siesta before the beach comes alive with the cooling evening, gorgeous sunset, friendly dogs, horses, walkers and footballers. Thanks to the staff.

The most serene, peaceful and private resort with the bluest waters, most stunning sunsets, perfect shores and azure waves. Stayed in room C1 from the 25th till the 28th of March 2025. The food at Michamvi was beyond amazing and a key highlight. Every meal and drink ordered was prepared with excellence. The rooms are well equipped, clean and spacious with the most beautiful views. Tours and drivers are available at reception at a more reasonable price compare to other resorts. My partner and I had booked a sunset cruise departing from the resort itself including a spice and Stonetown tour with a driver taking us thereafter to the airport. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Shirley was extremely helpful and welcoming - ensuring that we were happy and ok at all times. A key highlight was our private and romantic supper which was set up on the beach with a bonfire the night before leaving. This is the perfect place to relax and detach while enjoying the best sunsets and views. Thanks Michamvi for a beautiful stay.
