Jaz Amaluna

We spent wonderful two weeks at the Jazz Amaluna. The hotel is new, very clean and absolutely beautiful. The service team was amazing and the food was rich in flavours and incredibly delicious - a true highlight for us. We can absoutely recommend this place and would love to come back.

My wife and I recently stayed at JAZ Amaluna in Zanzibar for 2 weeks, and we had an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful and extremely well maintained. The facilities are excellent, the rooms are comfortable, the pool areas are stunning, and the overall atmosphere of the resort made it the perfect place to relax and completely switch off. A very special mention must go to Aminah, who was exceptional throughout our stay. She was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. Every request was handled with such care and a genuine willingness to assist. Staff members like Aminah make a massive difference to a guest’s holiday experience, and she deserves special recognition for the outstanding service she provided. The hotel team as a whole was warm, welcoming and attentive, and we felt very well looked after during our entire stay. It is clear that a lot of effort goes into making guests feel comfortable and relaxed. My only small suggestions would be that the music around the main swimming pool could perhaps be turned down slightly at certain times, as the setting is so naturally peaceful, and that something be done to better manage the beach vendors/beach boys outside the resort area, as they can be quite persistent and it does affect the otherwise relaxing beach experience. That being said, these are only minor points in what was otherwise a fantastic holiday. We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend JAZ Amaluna to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Zanzibar.

Jaz Amaluna is an all inclusive resort, which I loved. The hospitality was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly warm, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. It was also my partner’s birthday during our stay, and the team surprised us with a beautiful birthday cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and the cake was absolutely delicious and fresh. We truly appreciated the effort they made to make the occasion special. I do have a few suggestions that I believe could make the experience even better. While I appreciate the variety on the menu and the effort to accommodate different guests, I would love to see more African and local cuisine incorporated into the menu. It would be a great way for guests to experience more of the local culture through food. A few other small improvements would be: * Providing fresh towels whenever the rooms are cleaned. * Ensuring there is always enough toilet paper, or providing an extra roll in the room. * Offering a wider selection of alcoholic beverages. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warmth and hospitality of the entire team. Thank you for making our stay memorable, and we hope to visit again in the future! ❤️

First time leaving a hotel review – and Jaz Amaluna in Zanzibar totally won me over. Beautiful nature, tasty food and the kindest people. The highlight was our animator, Issa, who constantly made sure every guest felt seen and included. So much energy and care – he really made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommend this place!
