Such a beautiful desert adventure! Our host was really friendly, funny, and welcoming. The price was great, and we felt very well taken care of. It was especially nice to see how well the camels are treated and to learn more about the local culture. Would definitely recommend! 🐪✨

I had such an amazing experience with Dar Toda! It is a memory I will hold close to my heart forever. From start to finish, the organization was flawless. Sleeping in a tent out in the desert was an experience that I will never forget! I have to give the biggest thank you to my phenomenal tour guide, Walid. Not only is he incredible at what he does, but his genuine kindness and radiant energy made my trip even better. We had a such a blast together. Everything was absolutely perfect. Do not hesitate to book this experience—you will be so grateful you did!
I cannot recommend this experience enough! It was an amazing time that I will never forget. Sleeping in a tent in the middle of the desert was magical. Truly an authentic experience. Shout out to Walid who made my trip unforgettable. He is very kind and caring and wants you to have the best time. Everything was perfect. Book this you will not regret it!!
I had an amazing time in the desert, my guides Walid and Abdou were lovely, always making sure we were alright and having a good time. I went alone but met some amazing, fellow solo traveling women, and had such an amazing experience wildcamping in the desert for two nights, seeing the beautiful and vivid stars, and even getting to meet some desert nomads selling their wares. Totally recommend
I had a really wonderful and authentic desert tour experience. As a solo traveler, I didn’t want to explore the Sahara alone, but Walid spontaneously organized a small group of four other solo-travelers around the same age —we were all on a similar wavelength, which made everything feel easygoing and harmonious from the start. We were accompanied by Abdellah, whose family has Amazigh roots for generations, which added a very special touch. Both guides were incredibly friendly, funny, and always open to any questions. I felt safe at all times and had a great time, with lots of beautiful photos and meaningful conversations. I chose the 4x4 tour since I preferred not to ride camels, but I can imagine the multi-day camel trekking tour being an even more special experience—especially for nature lovers with more time. Highly recommended!
It was amaaaazing, everyone very nice and the food incredible so delicious. It’s a perfect place to go with kids they had an unforgettable time Highly recommend ❤️
We had the most amazing desert experience, truly something we will never forget. Everything was perfectly organized and felt so special from beginning to end. The camel ride through the desert was magical, and the quad riding was such a fun and exciting experience. Sleeping in a tent in the middle of the desert was absolutely breathtaking – the peace, the stars, the whole atmosphere… just wow. A special thank you to our guide Wallid, who made the whole experience even better. He was so kind, helpful, and made us feel completely comfortable the entire time. We also stayed at Dar Toda Guesthouse, where we were welcomed by the sweetest family. Zarah, the mother, was incredibly warm and caring and it really felt like home. Their hospitality made this trip even more special. I would recommend this experience to everyone. It was truly perfect 🤍
We had a pleasant stay. Wallid took good care of us arranging pick-up, stay, hammam and 5 day desert tour. Family owned and authentic bussiness. The dessert tour 5 days was a unique experience and highly recommendable. Before you have plenty of worries but these guys take very good care of you including all extras and wishes. If youre brave enough then do a 3-5 day tour
I highly recommend this tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Morocco due to the uniqueness of the experience and the extremely kind, welcoming organizers of the trip. By spending two nights in the desert, we were able to see wonderful sunrises and sunsets and visit special places like Tamgroute. My friends and I would have loved to stay even longer and would choose Dar Toda again and again.
I booked the Private 2 Days Sahara Safari 4x4 with Soul of Nomads and it was the highlight of my Morocco trip. Walid, our guide, was professional, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. We stopped in Tamgroute to see the green pottery and ancient Koranic library, then continued through the Draa Valley and off-road into the desert. The 4x4 was comfortable, and Walid made the long drive enjoyable. At Erg Chigaga, I rode a camel at sunset, then arrived at a beautiful desert camp with great food, warm hospitality, and live Berber music around the fire. Sleeping under the stars was unforgettable. Walid even woke me early to catch the sunrise from a dune, which was breathtaking. Everything was perfectly organized and felt authentic, not touristy. Walid truly made the trip special. Highly recommend Soul of Nomads for anyone looking for a real Sahara experience.♥️
An absolutely unforgettable experience with Dartoda in Zagora, Morocco. I traveled all the way from Brazil to spend two days in the Sahara, and it was truly surreal, magical, and perfect from start to finish. The safari with Dartoda exceeded all expectations — breathtaking landscapes, impeccable organization, and an extremely professional, attentive, and trustworthy team. Every detail was carefully planned to make the experience unique, safe, and deeply memorable. Sleeping in the desert, watching the sunset over the dunes, and feeling the vastness of the Sahara is something that stays with you forever. I returned completely in love and already can’t wait to go back. I wholeheartedly recommend Dartoda to anyone looking for an authentic, profound, and transformative desert experience. They deliver far more than a tour — they deliver a dream come true.
it was an amazing experience!!! It was so great and fun:) It’s perfect for every age, young and old!! I would definitely recommend
Business travel to the desert, perfectly organized. Everything ran smoothly, the team was professional, and the experience felt efficient and well managed. Very satisfied
I had an incredible experience at Dar Toda; the family is exceptional and makes us feel right at home immediately. Zahra cooks extremely well; these are the best Moroccan dishes I have eaten! Ibrahim and Walid are always there to give advice! I also recommend going on an excursion with Walid into the desert! I 1000% recommend coming to stay at Dar Toda; the place is magnificent and welcoming! 🌞
I spent two nights camping in the wild with a friend of mine; it was the best experience of my life. Everything was just perfect: the sunrises, sunsets, sleeping under the stars, and cooking a tagine in the middle of the desert. A friend recommended that I contact Walid, and I am very grateful that I did. Walid is an incredible guide, always attentive, kind, and funny, but above all, he has become a true friend.
A magnificent experience in the Chigaga desert from Zagora with Walid, our super kind guide; everything was well organized. Thank you very much for the welcome at Dar Toda and this beautiful authentic adventure in the Sahara.
Magical visit, Walid our guide was extremely friendly and helpful, the trip was well organized from start to finish, I highly recommend it.
It was my first experience in the desert. I had wonderful days on my journey with Soul of Nomads. The best guide I've ever met. I then stayed at Dar Toda and continued to have some of the most enjoyable days there. I didn't expect to meet such sincere and kind-hearted people. Thank you all individually :)
Unforgettable desert experience with Walid. Sunset breathtaking over the dunes and beautiful comfortable bivouac. Experience to live!
direct contact with Dar Toda
We did the tour with Salah as a family (2 adults and 2 children 10 and 12 years). The organization worked great. Salah picked us up at the hotel in Zagora - the drive to the desert was already breathtaking, after some distance in the valley we went over the mountain massif and through small villages and places to the transition to the Erg Chigaga desert. The contrast to e.g. Marakech could not be greater. The beauty and hardness of the desert was so intense. Salah managed to show us the Big 3, we could see gazelles, antelopes and also ostriches. Riding camels creates an exciting impression of why these animals are so valuable. Climbing the great dune is a very special experience. Seeing the nomadic tents in the plains and understanding the environment people live in and defy the conditions is impressive. The camp is located away from other camps and is loving and cozy, even with sanitary tent. Tea and food are wonderful. The sunset and especially the sunrise are incredible. The return journey, again with many experiences, was a bit quieter in the jeep, we were still processing our experiences and experiences. Visiting the Koran school was very interesting. To experience the cooperative with ceramic production very intensively, especially for us Europeans. And that's why it's so important! We felt completely comfortable and take a very special experience with us!!! Salah is a very special person !!! You can feel his experience and his great love for this extreme and at the same time beautiful environment. Thank you dear Salah !!!! Time remains our absolute highlight from this Morocco trip.🙏🏼❤️
Super organization and incredible hospitality I can only recommend, the coordination between our accommodation and the organizers of the activity was nickel and the desert remains an unforgettable memory
Youssef is a great guide, we can highly recommend the tour (2 nights in the desert). The camp was very comfortable, the food excellent and the places visited were a highlight of our trip. The transport, collection and communication were also smooth. Very happy to come back!
Beautiful trip in the desert organized by Walid, a breathtaking setting, a very quiet camp with good meals and a super guide with a 4x4 to the proof, dunes, gazelles and wild ostriches, I recommend for people seeking calm
