Dar Hnini

Dar Hnini is like a beautiful oasis and was one of the highlights of our trip through Morocco. The incredibly friendly staff, the beautiful rooms and the stunning grounds with palm and fruit trees were truly exceptional. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. A unique and unforgettable experience!

Not enough stars to capture the beauty and hospitality of this oasis. The staff were an absolute delight, the accommodations were extraordinary, and the manicured private gardens and pools attract an abundance of wonderful birds. Wish we could have stayed longer!

If there’s one place in Morocco that captures the true spirit of Moroccan hospitality, it’s Dar Hnini in the Draa Valley. My husband Dean and I were welcomed by Yousef and Mohammad — two people whose kindness is completely genuine and immediately puts you at ease. We went from travelers to family in a matter of minutes. The highlight of our stay was the magical dinner Abraham and staff prepared for us — a romantic Moroccan picnic set up under the night sky, adorned with traditional rugs, cushions, lanterns, and a feast of incredible food. It was one of the most romantic and memorable meals of our lives. We followed dinner with a Hammam with Sarah, who made us feel completely pampered and at peace. Pure bliss. Our room was an experience in itself — visually stunning with the most beautiful Moroccan details, and filled with gorgeous natural aromas that made it feel like a sanctuary. Dar Hanini is more than a hotel — it’s an experience that stays with you. We left a little piece of our hearts here. 10/10, without a single hesitation. 🇲🇦❤️

We stayed at this small boutique property in the middle of the Draa Valley surrounded by palm groves and it felt like a peaceful oasis in the middle of nowhere. The hotel is made up of a handful of private villas set inside beautiful gardens with orange and lemon trees, a turtle pond, and a central courtyard with a pool and Berber-style tent where we were welcomed with tea. Each villa sits in its own little garden compound which made the stay feel very private and relaxing. Our daughters had their own villa and we had ours, both very comfortable and nicely designed in traditional Moroccan style. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. Service was excellent. The only area that could improve is the food, which was decent but didn’t quite match the beauty of the property. If you have kids make a stop prior to pickup snacks.
