Doing a day tour to Plitvice Lakes was the best decision we made. The park itself is purely magical, but having Biljana As our guide elevated the entire experience. Right from the start, she was so friendly , warm, highly organized, and full of great energy.

Very convenient for people not driving. Also flexible arrangements to ensure all participants were safely picked up and returned.
When i booked itinformed that we would stay at the park until 4pm. At 3 pm we had to leave before get to the end of the walk . The guide took us with the bus on the road! Terrible hurry like it.
This natural wonder is amazing. The trip went smoothly and was very enjoyable. A good walk of approximately 8-9km, included a boat ride across one of the lakes and a 'train ride' home.
So beautiful and well worth going to! Nice walking pace that allows for plenty of picture taking and rest stops. So many waterfalls - each one unique. Make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes as recommenced. Bring water to drink along the way. Use toilets whenever you have a chance since not frequent.
Gorgeous place to visit, loved that we could do it on our own without having to stay with the group.
Great way to get to Plitvice without stressing about transportation! And it’s absolutely beautiful, definitely worth the time it takes to get there.
Very enjoyable. Easy to book. Great experience. Hassle free and no need to stand in queue to get tickets
What a great experience. We couldn’t believe how beautiful it was everywhere you looked. The waterfalls were awesome.
Met ys close to the cruise ship. Kept in touch throughout the day via a WhatsApp group chat. Good guidance. Allowed a stop en route to get food cheaper. We had spare time so took us to Zadar old town before we had to get back to our ship
Basically a bus ride to and from Plitvic Lakes. The pick up point in Zadar wasn’t determined until the day before but it worked well for us. The cash only park entrance fees were 2 EUR more than direct from the park itself. If I would have known which entrance we were going to, I would have bought online. The operator basically requires the use of WhatsApp which caused some problems. The operator indicated they would compensate us for the cost in dealing with the problem but that never happened. Not the worst but not the best either.
A well organised and friendly trip. Park was very busy but that is no fault of the organisers. I wish the stop at the shop had lasted an extra five minutes as with toilet queues there wasn’t much time.
Our day at Plitvice was fantastic. The bus trip was comfortable and our guide Karlo was informative. We did the 'C' route walk which was comfortable. Karlo was extremely patient with the 3 people who completely ignored all instructions and return times to the bus. Well done Karlo and the rest of us who made it back in time. Highly recommend this tour.
ABSOLUTE SCAM! we ended up paying £300! from TUI cruise £200 taxi (tui excursion about the same) and £100 for ticket entry to see absolute scrap NOT WORTH IT! We been around the world niagra, Asia and seen much better waterfalls, lakes for a fraction of the price! DO NOT DO IT SAVE YOUR MONEY
Nice tour where you could walk with the guide or go at your own pace. The guide sent out information ahead of needing it. There was time to do quite a bit of the park.
I was stung by a wasp on the coach. Disgusted that neither the English speaking tour guide nor the bus driver had a first aid kit! Please think twice before booking children and frail people on this trip. My partner asked for some assistance as my hand was swollen and I was worried about the sting.
It takes 2 hours to go to Plitvice but trip is planned good. Its given enough time to walk around park.
Stunning scenery, never seen so many waterfalls on one place and water was crystal clear with view of all the fish. Our tour guide, Karlo showed good humour and offered communication via WhatsApp alongside the use of this to provide guidance should you got lost (which we did and received guidance). Take food and water as these are expensive there and also a long wait until you can buy at the ferry port.
Stunning scenery! Never seen so many waterfalls in one place and the water is more clear than anything you've seen. Our tour guide Karlo, showed humour and was contablctable throughout should we have got lost (which we did and was able to receive guidance from WhatsApp).
Absolutely stunning place! Every corner you turned you were met with stunning views! Would highly recommend visiting here! Karlos was a great tour guide, loved the WhatsApp group and the information he provides was brilliant!
The trip was well organised. The shop/cafe stop before arriving at the national park is a great opportunity to buy strudel, sausage rolls etc and even at the park there are sandwiches and burgers so food and drink isn't a problem. Our guide was very knowledgeable and he updated us during the whole trip. We took the 8km route and don't regret it. So pretty.
Really incredible tour with our tour guide Karlo who was so informative and made sure we fully experienced Plitvice. Had an incredible day at the park and got to meet new people on the tour, took so many pictures and the views were incredible. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. The price was very reasonable also.
Definitely a location to visit when in Croatia. Views are unbelievable and will have lasting memories for life. We did the C route and is challenging and would say it’s worth it, if you can manage it. Restaurant near car park entrance 1 is not the best and would suggest a picnic to eat with a view.
Great day and really informative guide - it’s an 8k walk (you can do 4 but obvs see less) but wow, well worth it
Great trip -bit chaotic at beginning figuring out which bus to get on but it all works out ok-park is amazing-bit of a wait for the water ferry but no real issues-fair old walk but good paths and stunning scenery. Our guide on and driver on day were great.Inevitably (like all tours) there are always a couple of people that think it acceptable to add 20 /30 mins to return time to keep the other 98% of people waiting so please do them the courtesy of adhering to what the guide tells you re timings.
The view was amazing. The guide was very helpful and polite. All the information were very interesting. The park was stunning and the water is really blue!!!
The tour was well organized and well conducted. The guide put everyone on a common what's app group so updates happened seamlessly. The park itself was quite beautiful. We opted for route C which was the longer route but other than a lot more walking we didn't really see anything different. It was more of the same. So I think route B is adequate to see what the park has to offer.
We followed the 8km route C. Viewed spectacular waterfalls around every corner. Crystal clear turquoise water. An easy walk, not too difficult. Be prepared for a long queue at the boats. One of the top 5 beautiful places that we have visited.
Amazing: + Nature + Trip Organisation + Panoramic View + Food stop + WhatsApp Tour and Tipps + Self Guided Tour + Group Experience
Very professional, flexible, and helpful people! Everything was organised so nicely. They really know the area in and out!
This is a big group tour. Expect to take a big bus to the park and expect to wait for stragglers to depart. In the park you are free to move at your own pace. In addition to the transportation fee, you pay separately for park entrance; 21 euros at the time of writing this, per person. So, given the size of the group, this was a very expensive bus ride. The park is beautiful and meets high expectations. The C route (8km walking) takes about 2-1/2 hours, with plenty of photos along the way.
Plivice Lakes are brilliant. Fantastic views. Routes are well signed and you get very close to the falls. The walks, boat and bus trips make it a varied and interesting experience. Pity about the coach trip to the falls. Couldn't admire the Croatian countryside as window blocked with condensation. Driver said it's that kind of bus! Fortunately got a spare seat with a clear window on the way back.
Absolutely fantastic. We bought the trip from the staff in the agency, perfectly communicated. They are very transparent and give you warnings about some tourist traps in Zadar and explain to you everything that you need to know. The park itself is beautiful and relaxing. Thank you elegance tours for making it so easy with everything.
The tour of Plitvice lakes was OK and the weather was great - sunny but cool. The guide was friendly, gave clear instructions and did a good job taking us on an alternative route when we were informed that a boardwalk we were planning to take has just been closed for safety reasons. It seems the tour only takes visitors to the lower lakes only. I chose this tour because my plan was to travel to Zagreb and it was mentioned that that my luggage could be kept on the vehicle, and I could be dropped at the bus station. I therefore booked my bus ticket for 5.15 pm as the website stated that departure of the tour from Plitvice Lakes was at 4 pm. On arrival at Plitvice, I was surprised to be told by the guide that departure was at 2 pm and that apparently the 4 pm departure was seasonal. The website also mentioned 4 hours tour plus 2 extra hours. This was not the case. The bus stop is actually just opposite the entrance and when the tour driver showed me the bus stop at 2 pm, he informed me that there is a left luggage facility near the entrance. This turned out to be correct and free. I therefore talked to reception, left my luggage and re-entered the park and visited the upper lakes on my own rather than hang around idly for 3 hours. I had to rush at times to make sure I do not miss the bus, but it was very much worth it. The other, slight, inconvenience was that although the meeting point was in Zadar old town very close to where I was staying, we walked a good 15 minutes well outside the old town to catch the coach for the tour and I had to carry my luggage all the distance. Had I been aware of all these factors, I would have looked at all tours, irrespective of left luggage facility on the vehicle, before making a choice. Overall, the guide was fine, Plitvice is very beautiful and unique, but the duration of the tour was 4 hours instead of the 6 hours mentioned.
Very nice trip and very professional guide. I suggest to try when visiting Croatia. Easily to get from Zadar. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Very well arranged tour, guide Karlo was very nice and kept pace with each member of the group. Kind also to offer taking pictures. The timing and tour hours were also well managed. Recommend taking path C to all visitors, covers all aspects of the park and not so difficult.
Very well organized! Bus was clean and ride was smooth. It was easy to navigate plitvice, learn about it, get great photos and overall, get the most out of a short 4h in the park :)
Excellent services and need to more time to really enjoy all. Best to book a night stay thought falls are not spectacular like Nigara Falls in America but is a good hike out.
Views were good, although the worst tour guide He brought his girlfriend with him and talked with her all the, not much information and came very late to pick us up- would never take this trip again
Well organised tour with beautiful views! Karlo was an amazing and friendly tour guide. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Zadar or nearby areas :)
The arrangements made to visit the park were great but we had a very bad experience with our return transportation. We had selected pick-up/drop-off at our hotel and the pick-up went fine. On the return, the bus pulled over somewhere (I don’t even know where) and we were told everyone had to get off the bus (no warning that this would happen). We and a few others who were also supposed to be dropped off at their hotel were all confused as to what was happening. Eventually the guide told us to walk over to where there were some vans nearby and his colleague would help us. He pointed to an area with multiple vans and groups of people and no clear contact person and then left us. We walked over and it was extremely disorganized and uncertain. The van drivers weren’t sure who they were driving and did not speak English. They spoke amongst themselves for a while trying to figure out what to do with us and other groups of people. Eventually, they crammed us into one van in which one person didn’t even have a seat and had to sit on the floor! The van was in very bad condition - struggling to start and stop. It did not feel safe. The van was making random stops, dropping people off at restaurants. Eventually the driver stopped somewhere and indicated it was our stop. We were dropped off and had no clue where we were. Thankfully, a friendly couple was able to direct us towards our hotel and we walked to finally make it there. An upsetting end to what was otherwise a great day.
We almost cancelled because it was raining and cold. So glad we didn't. We took routw C. It's not a tough climb and beautiful ❤️
Plitvice is a beautiful destination no question! The crowds being brought in by bus loads spoils the experience. What we did not like is that the tour says max 25 but when you get there there are 2 full bus loads on same group tour We were asked to be there by 7:10, were told we’d be in the park by 10:00. We didn’t get in until after 11 am. We were supposed to have plenty of time, but the truth is we walked faster than the average and still didn’t have time to actually sit down and enjoy a picnic lunch. Largely because the crowds made it impossible to move fast. Elegance also charged us for our Plitvice entry tickets at €35 per adult then bought student ticket and gave them to us. This seemed just wrong! I had also written to Elegance ahead about the lunch and received zero reply in advance. Just be aware of what you are getting when you book this tour.
Hello, I’m reaching out for a refund for a tour i took yesterday. I spent $100 on what was sold to me as a guided and informed tour. I got neither of those. At no point was the timing of bus departures to get to the lot and time needed to get back to physically get back to the bus made clear. After letting the driver know that we were 15 minutes away, he told me he couldn’t wait and left both my and my partner to find another way home. It cost $32 euro to get a flexi bus back- cost over an extra hour of our time. I received half the service purchased best. At no point did i ever receive information on the lakes or any part of a tour. This was a misleading advertisement for a trip which would have been cheaper if i had just purchased flexible passes instead. I don’t know what kind of company would leave two people in an unknown country with limited cellular service to figure it out on their own. That’s why people book with tour companies in the first place. I would like atleast a partial to full refund to cover the cost of the extra expenses it cost me to get home. Attached below is my bus pass tickets. Thanks, Zackary Meyerle
Was told that the bus would pick us up at 7.20 and it arrived at 7.40. Had pre-booked tickets but sat on the bus for 40 minutes waiting for the guide to collect the tickets. It says the tour starts at 10am but didn’t start until 10.45. A lot of time spent waiting around
The trip was organised very well. We met with hosts and had a short walk to our coach. The travel was timely, about 2 hours to the destination with a short stop at a small convenience store. When we arrived, we waited on the air conditioned coach for 15 minutes for our tickets to arrive, then the tour guide took us straight into the park, explained the routes and where toilets were. We did route C which was approximately 8.5km. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. The route was very obvious and frequently signposted. We went in the middle of August and the walkways were very narrow, which made overtaking groups difficult. It was a constant single file stream of far too many people. We constantly had to stop for everyone in front of us to take selfies. We queued for the boat which took far too long. Others were getting agitated in the heat and pushing in to get ahead. The density of people thinned out after the boat trip. The 'panoramic' bus back to the starting point was much easier and took us back to a short walk from the start. We then boarded our coach and returned to Zadar. I have no doubt this trip would be better out of season and much more serene when there are less people in the park.
I highly recommend seeing this national park it was beautiful! The directions from the guide were clear. Some things I wish I would’ve known before going: there is food in the park including sandwiches and drinks. The bus has no wifi or phone chargers but does have air conditioning. Finally I feel as though additional time would have been helpful I felt as though my partner and I walked fast and didn’t stop much and by taking route C we where worried we wouldn’t make it back to the bus in time and some people where late coming back to the bus. The transport time for the “train” which is really a bus was very long we waited for over 40 minutes in order to get back. Overall we had a great day and really recommend.
The description says that there will be 25 people… we were 56! the tour guide was overwhelmed. We waited 40min for the boat and since we only had 5 hours to complete the C route we had to rush and made it a bit late to the bus. The time spent in the park was not enough and the guide didn’t help us to much. I do not recommend this tour … apparently there are buses that can take you directly to the parc.
The park is amazing, it’s a real gem of nature. The transportation was ok but the driver picked me up 40 mins late.
Great tour! It was worth the money, the guide Karlo was kind and knowlegdeable. You can choose to go with him or own your own, we went together with him because he also was doing route C. I would recommend this tour for sure!
