I really liked this tour. Croatia has great historical sites, and having a guide really helped me to understand the city of Zadar. It is totally worth the money to spend a couple of hours and learn something. We had a licensed guide, which means she has to know A Lot about the city and region, and was able to communicate with us. I mean from ancient Tome to present day! I used Zadar City Tours and highly recommend.

We had a great great 90 minute tour with Doria around the lovely city of Zadar. Doria was very well versed in all the sites and told us lots of interesting facts. She was particularly interesting when giving us a lot of background to the history of the city and of Croatia and indeed of old Yugoslavia. We really enjoyed the tour and would certainly recommend it to visit us to the city.

Our guide lives in Zadar, spoke excellent English, knows the history of the city and the country. I recommend it.

If you want Zadar to come alive you have to book Dorja. She was passionate, professional, considerate and 100% committed to her job. We felt blessed to have spent precious time in her company and cannot recommend her enough.

Original guide was ill so an associate took over. She was quietly spoken which made it difficult to hear on busy streets, but knowledgeable and informative.

Excellent insight into the history of Zadar from Roman times up to the most recent conflicts. Dorja was our tour guide and had an incredible amount of knowledge and perspective.

We have a fabulous tour through ZADAR CITY TOURS, specifically with Dorja as our guide. She was , friendly, professional, knowledgeable, funny and really informative. She has the perfect balance, informative but not to overwhemling, funny but not too funny. Specifically she gets a big shout out for doind our tour on her birthday. After she left us she had to go home and make one of two cakes for her birhtday, a traditional Croatian cake. She even sent me the recipe. Thanks for make our time in Zadar so special!

Brilliant tour highly recommended. Our tour guide met us promptly at the location given (land gate). She was friendly and informative throughout the entire tour. We learned a lot about the history of zadar and was taken into some shops for free samples of the local cheese and liquor. I would highly recommend!

The day of our tour with Dorja we had torrential rain with thunder and lightning but we weren't let down. Dorja showed up for us even though it was just myself and my girlfriend that booked that day. She was very professional and delivered all the interesting information of Zadar's Old Town and more very well even though it was definitely difficult with the heavy rain. Excellent sightseeing tour. Our guide Dorja was excellent. She was extremely knowledgeable and made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. We did the 90 minute tour which covered a lot and really gave us an understanding of the history (both ancient and modern ) of this beautiful city.

Dorja was a great! Our tour was in the old town and we met at the Sun Greeting on the coast. She was very knowledgeable about the history of Zadar and answered our questions openly. She also showed us local businesses like the Maraska Liquor and a cheese shop where we were able to taste tasted the locally produced items. It was a great tour and exactly what we were looking for in Zadar.

The walking tour was very enjoyable and informative. Dorja is very knowledgeable and gave us a much better understanding of the sights of the city than we could have gotten on our own. She also gave us great recommendations for other things to do and places to go to make the most of our short trip to the city.

Dorja had excellent English and knowledge of the city . Her style was lecturing rather than conversational but a lot of ground from churches to food to history was covered.

Our tour guide Danja was fabulous and very knowledgeable about Zadar. She shared many personal experiences and knowledge. The only issue we had with the tour is that is started 1/2 hour after scheduled. For some reason the tour guide was not notified by Viator that a tour was scheduled and thus we had to call the guide and wait for her to arrive. We do not feel this was a reflection on the tour guide but a “glitch” in the viator system.

We get the tour information from city tourist office. Our tour guide - Dorja is very friendly, informative and enthusiastic. We recommend to take the tour in late afternoon (i.e: 6PM) to avoid the heat and you will have great sunset and lighting show after the tour;). Dorja will give you 90min walking tour with full of information of the town and people of Zadar, if you are interested in history, it is the tour for you. I would personally wish if there were more stories than information. Overall, everything is great.

I was extremely happy that Dorja did the city tour with me even when I was the only tourist at that day. It felt like a friend guided me through Zadar. She has incredible knowledge about the history of Zadar. She gave me helpful tipps and answered all my many questions. The booking & communication with her was quick and easy. Beautiful town, the central street full of shops of all kinds. Prices a bit high x various things especially in food. A takeaway coffee in the paper cup 1.80.....deserves cmq. A visitor.
