This tour is a must-do if you’re looking to see Zadar with a true VIP experience. Our tuk tuk driver picked us up right outside the cruise port and showed through the newer parts of town, stopping at few local landmarks and provided a great conversational history of the country, the town, and the landmarks. His pride in his county showed and that made us enjoy the tour even more. We chose to have him drop us in Old Town so that we could explore and take the cruise shuttle back to the ship. Our guide Zlatko was exceptional, articulate and fun to spend our morning with. Everyone should be as lucky to have him as we were! We highly recommend this Zadar tuk tuk tour!

Itinerary
Start of the trip from your location. We do the pick up at your address, within the city., or in Zadar Port
Panoramic ride through Arbanasi, old part of Zadar, and along the most popular local Beach - Kolovare.
The main entrance to the old town and the most impressive among the Zadar gates is the ornate City Gate (also called the Land Gate–Kopnena vrata in Croatian), on the southern side of the old town in the little Foša harbour. It was built by a Venetian architect Michele Sanmicheli, finished in 1543 and it is considered one of the finest monuments of the Renaissance in Dalmatia.
Drive along the Coast of Duke Trpimir and Zadar marina towards the Old Town.
The stories about the Zadar Sphinx, and the treasure buried under it, were the inspiration for numerous fantasies by generations of Zadar citizens.
Greeting to the Sun is located in the port of Zadar, in the west of the Zadar Peninsula, right next to the Sea Organ. Located in this ideal location, it offers a beautiful view of Zadar's islands and the sunset.
The Sea Organ has become a modern icon of the city – this is a unique architectural miracle built in the underwater part of the city quay. The currents of waves and their passage through musical pipes installed beneath the surface of the sea create an amazing sound, the so-called sea music, filling the large space of the seaside promenade. The same architect, Nikola Bašić, takes credit for the Greeting to the Sun, situated right at the top of Zadar peninsula. The Greeting to the Sun consists of three hundred multilayer glass plates installed at the same level as the stone paving of the quay in the shape of a circle 22 meters in diameter. It is conceived as a spatial installation in the shape of an amphitheater surrounded by stone blocks with a presentation of all Solar System planets and their orbits. According to the famous Alfred Hitchcock, this part of the Zadar quay provides a view of the most beautiful sunset in the world.
Orientation walk through Zadar Old town. Possible stop for photo shooting.
Located in front of the church of Saint Donat and the Archbishop´s Palace, it was the centre of the entire public life, the largest forum on the east coast. Roman era, built from the 1st century BC to the 3rd century AD

A great way to see the town. David was a fantastic guide. He even recommended a great place for lunch, which we loved!
Rocco was brilliant knowledgeable and helpful. Tour exceptional in beautiful Zadar. Don’t miss it. Karen and Bob
Make sure you confirm where the pick up point is. Our tickets said main port, we were at different port, so we had to take a taxi there. The Tuk Tuk driver was waiting at our port and not the one on our tickets. Had to call and he came over but 20 minutes later.
This was an awesome tour and we had a great Tour Guide. We went from one end to the other and everything in between it was a great tour and I highly recommend this to anybody that really wants to see the countryside.
This was a very quick overview of Zadar. We didn’t stop at that many sites. The TukTuk driver/guide was young. He had a picture book which he referred to quite often. He talked a lot about his schooling. Other tour guides I’ve had made sure that we took photos of the highlights, but this tour guide seemed in a rush. He drove very fast, and took the corners quickly, so make sure to hang on when he is driving. He was nice.
Knowledgable and friendly guide. We could ask any questions. We learnt a lot and really enjoyed
Awesome to see Zadar! Zlatko was our driver for the tour. Thank you Zlatko. He showed us the highlights of the port area, great way to see the area!
A quick tour of the area. Saw several area of Zadar as well as listen to the sea ocean. We chose to stay at Old Town.
There was thunderstorm, so you were able to reschedule for later in day with David, he was EXCELLENT guide. Will use this tour group again
The tour operator. Ask me to change the time of the original tour which I did. We went to several places, and then when we went to area of church of St. Donatus, which he talked from far away. And he talked about the forum for a minute, and then we were given a choice to stay there or go back to the ship, which was only an hour. And fifteen minutes into the tour. I kept saying I thought the tour was two hours and would he let me shop or walk around for fifteen minutes and they said no. He encourage people to stay and take an Uber back to the ship. But my husband and I went back to the ship and then looked up this tour, which is supposed to be up 22 hours. I would not recommend this tour unless you have the copy in detail of what they were supposed to do. Because they cheated us out of 30 minutes of this trip. So I consider it a complete waste of time. We also did not spend twenty minutes at the last two places.
Punctual, knowledgeable, fun
The tour guide was amazing but I had booked the tour months ahead and was not impressed that they changed the start time 4 times. I had booked for 9:30 and didn’t leave until 1:30. When I only had 1 day in port, it really messed with my plans.
Great tour around Zadar with an exceptional guide, Luka. Would have provided 5 stars if not for the fact that they appeared to have lost our reservation and we had to call the company and wait about 30 minutes past our original pick up time.
Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. A very safe driver. It was very hot so he made sure we had shade. We were able to stick our feet in the water at the sea organ. Would have annoyed taking a swim. Enjoyed the marker as well. An enjoyable way to see a lot and get around easily.
Lovely way of seeing Zadar ,guide had lots of information ..I was the only passenger so it was like a private tour .
An excellent experience. On time and very informative and knowledgable. Nice length of time for the tour
Great way to get to know the city. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable about what we were seeing he knew the side streets and ally ways and was able to show us a TON of history. He even recommended a great beach where we spent the afternoon after the tour ended.
Simon was a fantastic guide sharing a lot of information about Zadar and Croatia and could answer all our questions👏
We contacted Marin about booking and pick up . He was amazing and we were collected as planned. Luka our driver was fantastic, polite, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a lovely time as a family. My two children (9&7) thought it was creat fun. We covered the full city, learnt a lot and had a lot of laughs on the way. Couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you Luka and Marin.
It was really fun and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and great! The freedom to walk around certain areas was well planned.
We had a fantastic tour. It was a great way to get an overview of the town in a short time and still give enough time to look around on your own!
Great was to see the sights of Zadar. Informative, fun, definitely worth the $ for people with limited time!
Interesting tour. Driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable. Great way to see the sights of Zadar, Croatia
It was informative, fun and easy Our tour guide was fantastic and we enjoyed it very much. We met him right at port so no challenges there either., highly recommend
We had Luka as a guide and he was very kind and knowledgeable. He was a safe and patient driver and he put up with stupid questions from the other couple in the TukTuk.
Easy pick up from the port. I have mobility issues - the Tuk Tuk could accommodate my folding rollator. Laurence our guide was very friendly and informative. It was a hot day and we really welcomed the cool breeze whilst driving along.
Perfect for our last port às we just needed to be driven round and relax! Informative and à fun way to see zadar.
Great tour- plenty of time to see the highlights. We did this at the end of a 9 stop cruise and we were rather tired so this was the perfect way to see Zadar and learn a lot from our guide, Luca.
Our tour was very short and took us to only 2-3 small attractions. Our driver was very nice , but very difficult to hear because the tuk tuk engine was loud. Our back seat family didn’t hear anything. The first row (us) had to relay everything the driver told us about. For $68 per person, it was not worth it
This is a great way to see Zadar- Just 4 people in a covered eco car with a local guide/driver. We saw the main sights, heard the water organ and had time to explore on our own as well. We had the choice to return to the ship or stay in town - easy and delightful. HIghly recommend
Excellent tour with Luka who was very informative about the history of Zadar and the surrounding area. Many thanks for a great tour!
The Tuk Tuk tour was fantastic and the driver/tour guide- David was also fantastic. I highly recommend
Interesting your, informative driver. He was friendly and accommodating.
A tuk tuk tour of Zadar is absolutely the way to go. A great way to absorb the character of the city.
Good way to see the town. We had an excellent guide - Ivan - who was chatty and interesting about the history of the town and the best spots to see.
We had a short time period here so this was a perfect way to see the town. Our guide Marco was great and we had enough time at the various stops. Go early to beat the crowds. Make sure to go to the Sea Organ!
Great excursion to see Zadar. All the highlights included . Would definitely recommend this tour as it was extremely hot and we are senior citizens.
This was a great way to see Zadar when you only have limited time - we were only there for a couple of hours as it was a cruise stop. Communication with the company was great and a cruise port pick-up was not a problem organise. Rocco our driver of for the 2 hours was friendly and knowledgeable. Zadar is not huge so there is limited things to see but you would still struggle with just a couple of hours.
Driver was pleasant, but the description of the tour advertised as 90 to 120 minutes and we only had 60 minutes. Driver picked us up at 11:45 and finished tour at 12:45. Definitely NOT worth the money.
Excellent guide. Knowledgeable on the history of Xadar spoke perfect English. Be prepared to bounce over sleeping policeman.
It was a wonderful experience. Our driver, whose name I cannot recall, was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. The only downside was that the ride could be a little bumpy at times.
Good way to cover the towns highlights and limit walking. If want more time shopping and covering the old town, this may not be for you
Smooth and safe riding around zadar was very pleasant . The Driver knows exactly where he was going .
Sadly our Tuk Tuk trip was changed for a new time, it was ok with us. Then on morning of trip the excursion was cancelled at last minute due to technical difficulties. Had alternate option of shuttle bus into town and did the same tour, without commentary, at our own pace for 3 hours.
We both enjoyed the tour around Zadar and seeing the sights while on our cruise stop. Marin was very flexible in accommodation changes in times which was much appreciated
We booked this tour on February 9th for a May 9th excursion. Once we got there we received a message on WhatsApp to meet at 9:30 instead of 9:00. Once we went to our meeting spot, we were told that our booking wasnot caught by the tuck-tuck company. Needless to say they were not able to get us on the excursion and refunded our money. The point here is that we are on a cruise and reside in Canada. We are not coming back to Croatia and all the planning was for not. Not happy.
Our guide, Roko was the best. He was very respectful of our limited mobility and responsive to what we wanted to see. His way of sharing history was informative and entertaining. Despite wind and rain, Roko made sure we had a great tour of Zadar, Croatia.
A fabulous way to explore the town. The Tuk Tuk is very comfortable - blankets are provided if its a bit chilly and waterproof covers and sides if its wet. Seatbelts also in the Tuk Tuk. It was really informative and so much easier to see everything than if in a car or bus. The small group size (4 max to a Tuk Tuk) made it very easy to chat with and ask questions of the guide/driver - who was very friendly and welcoming. Zadar itself is very interesting with lots to see, great history and the sea organ is unbelievable - could have st there for many hours.
Our guide was Roco, we couldn't have asked for anyone better! We'd a slight hiccup as our original guide wasn't available for our booked slot but Roco rang to apologise and offered an alternative time later in the day, he came to collect where suited us and also dropped us at a spot we picked. Roco was such a nice lad to deal with, very kind, the 2 kids thought he was lovely! He is full of interesting facts and details that i dont think we'd have learned from anywhere else. We enjoyed every second of the tour and felt safe througout in the tuk tuk that was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Roco is a credit to your business and we'll most definitely be recommending the Tuk Tuk experience to anyone travelling to Zadar!
