⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Hotel Olea was excellent from start to finish. The property is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and professionally managed. What impressed us the most was the attention to detail—everything seemed thoughtfully planned, making the stay effortless and comfortable. The rooms were well-equipped with all the essentials you would expect from a premium hotel, including quality toiletries, a functional in-room safe, and other thoughtful amenities. The breakfast was varied, fresh, and satisfying, offering a great selection to start the day. What truly sets Hotel Olea apart is its experienced and guest-focused management. It’s the small touches that make a big difference, and you can feel that the hotel is run by a team that understands hospitality. Every aspect of the stay felt polished and well organized. The only small suggestion I would make is regarding room service. While I appreciate that the hotel offers room service—something that is not always common in Europe—I was a little surprised by the additional €5 room service charge. I would rather see this cost built into the menu prices than charged separately, as it creates a better overall guest experience. Overall, Hotel Olea delivers a complete hospitality experience through exceptional service, comfort, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Novalja and look forward to staying here again.

Me and my boyfriend rented electric bikes from the hotel, BEWARE! They didnt really check the bikes left out, one of them was 95% charged and we didnt sign anything so it meant that we went out completely trusting this hotel. We cycled all the way to Lun where both of our bikes were punctured at 65% battery. We were stressed out as we were so far away. The hotel ordered a 60 euro taxi which we had to pay for ourselves. We did not pay for the bikes in the end but it was not fair that that happened to us due to wear and tear of the bikes when we hardly rode them. The taxi driver also walked into the hotel after he dropped us off and parked his car there, we thought this may of been a con job to get money out of us knowing that the bikes were shoddy.

We unfortunately did not have the stay we had hoped for due to the atmosphere created by some guests during the festival period. However, I would especially like to highlight the outstanding customer service of Hotel Olea. The staff were exceptionally kind, professional and understanding throughout our stay. After we shared our feedback, the management responded incredibly quickly, sincerely apologised and handled our complaint with remarkable fairness and generosity. The way the hotel cared about its guests left a very positive impression. Thank you to the entire team for your professionalism.
