Explore one of the most impressive cities of the Mayan civilization, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Walk among ancient temples like the Pyramid of the Magician, the Nunnery Quadrangle, and the Governor's Palace, while an expert guide shares the secrets of their architecture, astronomy, and symbolism. Admire the perfection of its stone carvings and learn why Uxmal is considered a jewel of the Puuc style.
After exploring the archaeological site of Uxmal, continue your experience with a guided tour of Hacienda Mucuyché, a 17th-century historic gem surrounded by nature and cenotes. Located in the heart of Yucatán, this former henequen hacienda has been restored to its colonial splendor. Learn about its history, gardens, and architecture while you learn about the golden age of "green gold." The tour includes exclusive access to two impressive cenotes: the Carlota Cenote, with turquoise waters and surrounded by vegetation, and an artificial canal that connects to a second underground cenote, ideal for swimming and cooling off after the cultural tour. This experience combines history, adventure, and natural beauty, and is the perfect complement to an unforgettable day after visiting Uxmal.
Incredible. This was the best tour I have been on and I have been on a lot. Ricardo is super knowledgeable and a great guide for the Mayan ruins. The entire trip was so perfected coordinated by Ricardo and Cesar. Will definitely recommend them and book again with them.
It was just so perfect from the start to finish. Ricardo and Cesar coordinated everything so well. It was so relaxing and fun at the same time. Ricardo was incredibly knowledgeable about the Mayan ruins and the history of the Puuc valley. Will definitely go on another trip with them. Highly recommend!
If the means of transport had been different this tour would have been relatively good. Namely, at the agreed time a large car appeared, with two rows of seats behind the driver, which was already full so that I was literally "SQUEEZED" in the last row. At the moment I didn't know how to react - because I wanted to immediately cancel the tour but I didn't know if I could get a refund. I am 175 cm tall and someone taller than me wouldn't even be able to sit in that seat. Only on the way back the guide (who otherwise did his job well) offered to switch seats. I warn potential interested parties in this tour about this terrible situation and recommend that they contact the guide in advance and ask about the means of transport. All in all, this is literally a disgrace and a robbery of tourists - the tour cost around 150 eur and was actually torture.
Visiting Uxmal was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Yucatán. The place itself is absolutely stunning, but what made the experience special was how well everything was organized. The atmosphere throughout the tour was relaxed and enjoyable, and the guide shared fascinating stories about the Mayan culture that really brought the site to life. It didn’t feel like a typical rushed tour, which I really appreciated. You could tell there was attention to detail, from the timing to the way the visit was planned to avoid the busiest moments. I left feeling like I truly experienced something authentic. I would definitely recommend it.
This is a full day experience and the absolute highlight of our trip to Merida. Ricardo was an excellent guide and was very knowledgeable about the Uxmal archeological site. The hacienda visit was interesting, but the best part of the afternoon was swimming in the Cenotes under the hacienda. Truly incredible experience. Be aware that there is an additional cost of $55 pp to visit the hacienda/cenotes - seemed expensive but it really was unforgettable. Thank you Ricardo and Ignacio for guiding us through the day! Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a towel and bathing suit!
The company’s car was clean and comfortable for the hour plus trip. Ricardo our guide at Uxmal was very informative and really helped us understand both the archeological site and the Mayan culture we were seeing expressed through these massive pyramids and buildings. The two cenotes we swam in are described by some as some of the most beautiful in the Yucatán. The guide there was really amazing. Worth every penny!
Our guide, Ricardo, was very knowledgeable and friendly! Caesar, our driver, made safety a priority and the car was comfortable and clean. Uxmal is a phenomenal ruin site to visit and the combination with Mucuyché Hacienda and Cenote was perfect! If you only have time to do one ruin and cenote during your visit in the Yucatan, this is the tour for you! Highly recommend this tour!
I had an amazing time on this tour. My guide Ricardo was so knowledgeable about Mayan history and archeology of the whole Yucatecan region. He explained what was special about the Uxmal site specifically and how it fit into the larger context of Mayan history. Uxmal was remarkably uncrowded. It makes it so much easier to imagine what the site could have been like in its glory days. The pyramids are absolutely beautiful, and all of my photos from this visit are amazing. The cenote at Hacienda Mucuyche is unlike anything I have seen before. I am endlessly grateful for the opportunity to experience this wonder. The tour operator Nojoch Tours was very proactive with their communication. I appreciated receiving all confirmations in advance. A special shout out to our driver as well - super safe the entire time. Merida has a lot to offer to the curious traveler, but this tour was my favorite out of all. I will definitely be interested in other Nojoch tours when I return the Yucatan. Thank you for the amazing time.
Amazing trip, Ricardo and his partner were very good. They were attentive, patient, and they gave an exceptional tour. The Uxmal site is a must-see, and in my opinion, this is worth acclaiming as one of the seven wonders of the world - just amazing. Then the Mucuyche cenotes are breathtaking. Overall, this is a great tour and worth every penny. Thanks to Nojoch tours, m- An interesting fact is that this is a very affordable tour compared to the crowded large group tours. Ricardo and partner treated us like royalty, and the respect was very much appreciated. At the end, they never asked for a review, which is why I'm taking time to write this review, because others need to know about their great service.
We were definitely a little skeptical about booking with this company due to the price and lack of reviews... BUT!!!!!!! JUST DO IT!!!!!! This experience was 10x better than going to Chichen Itza! Uxmal is truly a magical city brought to life by our fantastic tour guide Richardo. Our driver was so friendly and considerate as well as safe! Our adventure into Mucuyche was indescribable. The cenotes were unworldly. Please. If you want to experience Mayan culture, please book this tour!!!!! 10/10 no doubt.
This was an AWSOME trip, we love every minute of it. Our tour guide Ricardo was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. The experience was beyond belief. If you want to experience the Mayan culture this is a trip you want to go on, highly recommended!
I had the best day with Ricardo and Cesar. They were wonderful and drove me to amazing places. I would 100% recommend this tour! I can’t thank you guys enough for the amazing experience! 🫶🏻
Everything was amazing. The service was friendly and willing throughout. Very pleasant experience and each of the places we visit
The tourist guide very attentive, with good explanation of the place and very good atmosphere to explore and meet.
The tour was perfectly organized as the transport was comfortable and punctual the guide made the visit to Uxmal much more interesting with all the information we gave us later we visited the cenotes of the hacienda, which were simply spectacular very well kept perfect for swimming and relaxing. At all times the professionalism and details were noticed. I definitely recommend it for those looking for a complete and well organized experience in Yucatan.
We did the tour to Uxmal and Hacienda Mucuyché and it was the best part of our trip in Yucatan. From the start everything was very organized, communication was fast and clear, which gave us a lot of confidence. Transportation was comfortable and the group small, which made the experience much more personalized and relaxed. Uxmal is simply stunning, much less crowded than other sites and with incredible energy. Then we went to the cenotes of the hacienda and it was something spectacular, especially the canal type cenote, definitely something unique. Our guide was very friendly, always attentive and with very good vibe, you can see that he likes what he does and that he knows the area very well. We definitely recommend this tour if you are looking for something authentic, well organized and excellent service. We'd do it again without thinking.
Excellent service!! Very punctual and very enjoyable coexistence. They fulfilled everything offered and with very good disposition. I very much appreciate the attention received.
Excellent experience! We liked Uxmal even better than Chichen Itza, and the cenotes of Hacienda Macuyché are the best. The tour is private so the guide is dedicated. Ricardo gave us excellent explanations and interesting data all very professional. Both the guide and driver were friendly and attentive. Super recommended!
