Hisa, our driver and guide, was absolutely excellent. His knowledge and experience really shone through and made the whole day both fascinating and enjoyable. The private tour of Chichen Itza was superb, with plenty of interesting history and information explained in a clear and engaging way. We never felt rushed and were able to explore properly while learning so much more than we would have on our own. The cenote stop was fantastic and a real highlight of the trip — beautiful, refreshing and very well organised. We also really enjoyed the stop in the town centre, which gave us a chance to experience a bit of local culture and atmosphere. All four of us agreed that the entire day was excellent from start to finish. Hisa was friendly, professional, punctual and made us feel completely relaxed throughout. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

This was a fantastic trip. Julio and Alan were great guides for our trip to Tulum and the cenote. They picked it us up promptly and Julio gave us a great history of Tulum on the way. We arrived early beating the crowds and Julio took us around explaining the sites and the highlights. We then had some free time to explore and take more photos! We then headed to the Cenote Taak Bi Ha - truly magical - with a mask and a torch we explored the cave! This trip is a must do - Julio and Alan were fab!

A genuine highlight and delightful surprise of our trip to México was a day trip with Hisa as our guide, and Alan as driver. The two young gentlemen showed up on the dot with a spotlessly clean vehicle and big warm smiles to greet us. Their enthusiasm for the cultural history of México was most apparent and invigorating to hear. Their knowledge was most professional with just the right amount of information. Their bubbling energy was quite infectious and provided us with a wonderful day excursion. An additional highlight was having a lunch provided by a personal friend. Julio Martinez, also known as Julio Cesar, gave us one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. He is an amazing tour guide and driver who went above and beyond. Julio explained the history of Chichén Itzá, the people, the cenote, and the town in such an engaging and informative way. We learned so much in just one day. He is personable, super friendly, and truly took his time to make sure we were satisfied and able to enjoy every special moment. We genuinely enjoyed having him as our tour guide. This was truly one of the most memorable times with my family. We will definitely request Julio again when we come back to visit more cenotes. Jesus May was our guide for a private tour and he was AMAZING!! He knew so much history, answered all our questions, accompanied us on our own timeline, and never rushed. He even kept an eye on our kids if we ever looked away and took some photos and videos for us! He was a great driver, and we left feeling like we made a friend. Paul: had an amazing experience with Jesus as our tour guide as we dove into the history and cultural details of Chichen Itza. It took 2 hours and some change to leave from our hotel to the amazing pyramid. Edwardo gave a safe and pleasant drive to all the locations with zero issues. Jesus gave us excellent feedback and tips throughout the drive and made sure we were well in the knownledge required for the trip. As we headed to Cenote. We had an excellent lunch headed with a great dip in the water in the Cenote. Great laughs and memorable photos! Did a quick stop in the city to close the day out and made it back home by 6pm. I recommend Jesus and Edwardo anytime and over again to anyone!

Very happy with the experience! Smaller groups are the way to explore these beautiful sites. Got to Chechen Itza at the perfect time before large crowds. The Cenote experience not far from Chechen Itza was very relaxing! And Valladolid was a stunning town. Jesus and Eduardo were amazing guides and extremely informative. Highly recommended!!

Jesus was the driver and he was AMAZING!! Such an engaging tour guide, great guy, the Mayan ruins were absolutely incredible—we got to spend an hour all to ourselves to walk through the ruins—and we got a private cenote to swim in!! We beat the crowds, got access to great food, and saw once-in-a-lifetime sights!! An absolute must if you are a history, nature, or even thrill buff!

Great Tour! We booked a private tour with Mexico Highlights and Julio Martinez was our guide. We are a family of four (two adults and two children, 12 and 5). Booking was easy and we contacted the tour guide through WhatsApp to confirm hotel and pick up time. Julio picked us up at the lobby right on time. It took about an hour and half to get to Tulum from our resort (Moon Palace). Julio was very informative and educational about the Maya and Tulum, as both our driver and tour guide. Julio has a degree from the University in anthropology, so he was perfect as our guide. After a couple of hours in Tulum, we went to swim at a Cenote. The cenote was a sight to behold. Clear waters in a cave with light coming through the ceiling. We are offered to go into to town for shopping and lunch, but the kids were tired and we headed back to the resort. All in all a great time. It was nice to get off the resort and water slides and show the kids some local culture and rich history of the area. Thank you, Julio!

The tulum experience was wonderful! Alan took his time with us. Very knowledgeable. My husband and I really enjoyed the tour. He took the time to take photos of us. The cenote Takbi-ha wasn't crowded, and it was a great site to see. Afterwards we enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant and the food and drinks were delicious. Definitely would recommend!

Tulum ruins and cenote Takbi-Ha. Amazing, private tour with Hisael (Hisa). It is a nice half-day tour that includes a short drive to the Tulum ruins right on the coast and in the jungle. Hisa is extremely knowledgeable of the Mayan culture, and I very much appreciated the little chemistry/science tidbits about limestone/cement production! And amazing facts about architecture and art! The private tour is highly recommended. Hisa also takes amazing photographs! Another highlight is that you go at your own pace. You never feel rushed, and Hisa takes care of your tickets, etc. You bypass the big groups. We also recommend going to the local spot for tacos for lunch. A million thanks to Hisa for showing us the marvels of the Mayan culture!

Loved this tour, which was a perfect combination of learning about Mayan history and visiting a stunning archaeological site, then swimming in a cenote. Our guide Isael was deeply knowledgeable and shared information in a fun way, making the trip easy, thought-provoking and memorable. A wonderful day with a very savvy guide named Alan, who managed to avoid the ctowds st Tulum, gave a fascinating introduction to Maya culture and the role of the ceremonial structures, and took us to a great lunch at Akumal and a truly magical swim in a cenote in Tulum, it worked perfectly for a family group rangin in age from 3 to 75. We had an amazing morning touring Tulum with Julio. He is extremely knowledgeable about archaeology and gave us an excellent tour of the Mayan ruins. He then took us to downtown Tulum so we could explore the town a little bit, and he took us for an incredible lunch in Akumal—get the fish tacos! Would definitely recommend this tour and be sure to ask for Julio!

We had a private tour with Jessica and it was amazing. She took us to Tulum, Cenotes, and snorkeling with turtles. And we ended with a nice meal at a restaurant on the water. Jessica was very knowledgeable about all the sites. She joined us in the water and took us places we would never discover without her. She was warm and friendly and really gave us a fantastic day.
