This tour starts at 07:00 a.m. It is estimated 45 minutes to leave Merida, then we stop at a self-service store so they can buy water and snacks for the road, at 08:00 a.m. we are on our way to the first destination that is Valladolid, which is 2 hours walk away.

This cenote is located inside a hacienda, has a tropical atmosphere, here you have 1 hour to swim and then we move to the hacienda restaurant to eat a delicious Buffet included with a drink (flavored water).
Enjoy the visit to this beautiful and colonial magical town. The stay is 1 hour and a half, in the company of the guide discover the most important places such as the Cathedral, the convent, the museum, the friars' causeway and the Choco Story store; You will have free time to visit the main square and take photos at the letters of Valladolid.
We finish the tour at the same meeting point where we pass you in the morning. Between 06:00 and 06:30 p.m. The return journey time to Merida is 2 and a half hours from Valladolid.

Pablo was our guide, he was attentive and professional. The van was clean with working A.C. The cenotes visit was the highlight of this trip, they were different one from the other so we had a different experience at each place. Not much to do in Valladolid, but we still enjoyed the stroll on its streets and the ice cream.

It was great! The guide was super friendly and helpful. He shared a lot of historic information about the areas we visited. It was nice to have some free time in the town so that everyone could do what they wanted. The cenotes were lots of fun and we were given the perfect amount of time to visit each. There was also barely any waiting time between activities. Overall everything was very well organized. Would definitely recommend!

Guide: Tony This trip was awesome. I just want to say Tony being late by 30mins was fine, we didn’t miss anything and most of us came back to the bus early. Tony is by far a great guide, especially for me because I was the only English speaking person on the tour and he made sure I was involved with conversations and helped me with anything I needed. Overall, good sites, flexible itinerary, good guide, and communicative operator. Guide: Saul was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. He spoke of little known sites, helped set up the breakfast, and worked with the group to flex the itinerary. Size: Although the tour allowed up to 20, we had 5 total which allowed for flexibility in our schedule and timely site visits. Sites: We enjoyed the cenotes and Valladolid site visits. Suytan cenote is a beautiful cave cenote, this is where you get the best photos. Oxman cenote is where you have the most fun if you dont want to have your phone around. Valladolid was an excellent small town to pickup trinkets and see an older cathedral and town square. Lunch: Oxman Cenote buffet was cool that it was added but the food did not taste well. We did go later so maybe we just got the cooled down batch. Schedule: it was a 10 hour event due to the smaller group, as opposed to the 12 hour advertised. We did deviate by skipping the Merida snack run and instead went to a good truck stop for breakfast tacos, coffee, and snacks. We also went out of order of the itinerary but with the consent of the small group. Communication: They setup a detailed WhatsApp group that communicated meetup specifics the day before. I prefer this as opposed to using the Tripadvisor platform.
The tour guides were extremely helpful and kind! I would definitely book with them if I ever go back to Merida!

Good experience - I would have preferred a guided tour of Valladolid aa opposed to being given time to explore on our own which cannot always be best utilised. I also was the only English speaking person in a largely Spanish group … making it challenging at times.

I had never been to a Cenote so going to two was a treat. One was underground with a single opening in the top of the cave. The other more open with tree roots dangling down and activities like a roap swing to jump in from. That one also had other on-site activities like an outside pool and hammocks. The dinner buffet was good! I'm not a shopper, so the time in Valledolid was not my favorite but there is a pretty central park for people watch. Our guide, Mauricio gave us a good history lesson about the area
Tony was our guide and he was so wonderful! It was a nice blend of historical information but also lots of time exploring and time to ourselves to relax in the cenotes and in the cute town of Valladolid! Tony was very caring and knowledgeable and we had a great trip! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Colibri. I chose this company due to the reviews and they were willing to do a trip with even just one guest. It was perfect! During this day trip to the cenotes and Valladolid, I felt like I was traveling with friends--although we were two solo travelers and Alberto, our driver and tour guide, who had just met that morning. Throughout the day, Alberto shared lots of information about the Yucatan's history, traditions, and food. At each stop, we went at a leisurely pace, as there were only two of us, and Alberto constantly pointed out curiosities along the way. I definitely will book another excursion with Colibri on any future trip to Merida, and would welcome having Alberto as my guide.

From the reservation incredible, I did have changes and they did not hesitate to support me, Ale and Andrea super in reservation, Jorge (DiCaprio) tour guide 2 times with the super human being and attentive, the other 2 tours also super friendly, but he did make the difference in service, clean and new units, food in pleasant places !!! Super grateful!!! I will definitely return

First of all, the start of the trip was punctual, we left at a good time, and the tours established in the Valladolid tour were also fulfilled, my favorite part was the third cenote, it was green, the water 💧 felt very nice, because it was warm and not cold. I wanted to be at that cenote longer. Likewise, the food was very good. The tour in general was very good, and I recommend it. I will continue to request more tours from this agency. 10 out of 10. 💕
