We went early with our guide Abraham and ended up having all 4 cenotes to ourselves. Each cenote was different and so beautiful. He took great pix for us while we swam. The lunch at the restaurant was delicious. Izamal was unique, and a chance to climb up the ruins and explore. The van was very nice and comfortable.

Abraham was our guide for the day. His English was great & enjoyed teaching us some Spanish. He was very knowledgeable about the Mayan history & the activities around Mérida. We arrived at the Cenotes early & actually got to enjoy them to ourselves for a while. The lunch was really good & very abundant! Our visit to Izamal was nice although very hot by early afternoon. Drive home was comfortable! Very enjoyable day.
Wonderful outing to magical cenotes. We visited Santa Barbara park and were able to swim in four cenotes. Everything was well organized. We were also able to visit the three culture city of Izamal
Had a fantastic day! Efrain our driver and guide of the area was lovely and helpful! The Cenotes were beautiful and we had fun cycling between them. Lunch was great trying the local cuisine and we loved the visit to Izamal to finish the tour.
We had a great trip with our guide, who was informative and made the day relaxed and enjoyable. Santa Barbara cenotes were really cool and we had a good amount of time to spend at each one. The trip to Izamal was an interesting and pretty town, and a great end to the day.
The cenotes have been on my bucket list for a while now and when presented with a long weekend we decided to make it happen. We were a group of 8 consisting of family and friends of ages 15-55. If I’m being honest I have never seen so much happiness on the faces of a travel group than on this journey. Everyone was excited and in awe at each of the 4 cenotes. They were all magical. I did quite a bit of research in advance and really wanted to hit the very best ones we could but found it impossible to know which ones would really be the best by looking at a computer screen. I have to say choosing to visit the 4 Santa Barbara cenotes was the beat decision I could have made. Each are very different but very close in proximity to each other which makes it easy to have an incredible and diverse experience in a short time. Julian our tour guide was also fantastic. He was friendly, patient and informative. In short, do not hesitate to book this excursion. You won’t regret it.
Getting to the cenotes early avoided the crowds, the food at the cenotes was excellent, and Izamal beautiful. Our guide was kind and knowledgeable. Overall an incredibly positive experience and I would recommend to anyone.
We enjoy a lot this amazing trip. We've passed a great day. It was a good experience to swing into the cenotes and also we've known Izamal
Freddy is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. We will use Guias de Yucatan for future trips. The cenotes are beautiful and the early morning ing departure time allowed us to enjoy without the crowds.
This trip was amazing. Our tour guide David was knowledgeable and fun. He shared information in both Spanish and English while our amazing driver got us to our destinations. This is the second trip I have used Guias de Yucatan and I will keep going back to them because they are professional and personable.
Loved the cenotes, had a great guide, met fun people. Going early made it much better, no crowds. I would recommend this trip definitely.
David was knowledgeable and friendly guide. Had a lot of interesting things to share re: Mayan mathematics and culture. Swimming in Cenotes was lovely - he got us there right on time before it got crowded. Climbing Izamal pyramid was a fun challenge. Fascinating to hear about local plants and ants! Just ask if you want to stop to take photos along the way. Wonderful tour!
This was a beautiful tour of the Cenotes and Izamal! We were the first and only tour group in the Cenotes until our last… so TAKE THE EARLIEST booking… it is worth the earlier rise! The food is great and are very big portions! Our guide was wonderful in watching our belongings as we swam at each Cenote… which allowed us to take pics! The town of Izamal was quaint with a brief, but steep, climb to the pyramid top! Ended with a stroll through the city and a different flavor to ice cream: maize!
The tour was great as well as the guide and driver. Very informative and attentive to our group. We definitely recommend this tour.
This tour was fabulous! Our tour guide, Delio, was wonderful and very informative. He took great care of us during our trip and was very friendly.
Freddy was an amazing guide! My husband and I went on this tour for our honeymoon, and we had an incredible time. We left early from Merida and were the first people to arrive at the cenotes, and got to experience them without a crowd, and even were the first to have lunch at the delicious restaurant. The lunch that was given to us was seriously a highlight for us, specially the sopa de lima with the empanadas de chaya y queso. I would definitely recommend this tour to our friends and family.
This was an amazing tour! It was like the Disneyland of cenotes! I hadn't realized that all four cenotes are part of one "resort" area. You arrive, change into a bathing suit and then you can either bike, walk or take a ride to the first cenote. Then after each cenote you bike, walk or ride to the next one. It was SO fun! We biked in between the cenotes and it was a blast! Then we had lunch at the restaurant which is right there. Then we headed to Izmal, which is a magical town. Our guide, Sammy was very helpful and kept the car air conditioned and brought it right to wherever we were so we could jump in and get cool. We also really enjoyed getting to climb up the Mayan ruins in Izmal!
This was a fantastic tour. Our tour guide Freddy took 4 of us around to the Santa Barbara cenotes and Izamal. He did a great job explaining the history of these places and the Mayan culture. We are so glad we booked this tour because the early start allowed us to be in the cenotes without a crowd of people. We highly recommend booking this if you want to see these sites.
Teddy was an excellent tour guide who gave us the best services during the tour! He was very knowledgeable about the sites he took us to, and his descriptions were very informative. I learned a lot about Mayan history. The weather was very hot and humid but he waited for us patiently as we went to see the scenes. He deserves a big tip!
The cenotes of Santa Barbara are a must! We visited all 4 cenotes and the food was great. We stoped at Isamal and another small pueblito. Our guide was incredible very knowledgeable about Mayan history and the modern Mayan and Yucatán people/area. We had a great time with my parents.
Freddy is a great guide. He's super knowledgeable and friendly. The cenotes he took us to were amazing and each one was a different type. We loved that the tour departed early since it meant that we were the first ones in the cenotes. We had them all to ourselves! Izamal is a very pretty town to end the tour on. I would definitely recommend this tour and Guias de Yucatan.
We had an amazing experience with Freddy and Guias de Yucatan. The tour leaves early so we were the first ones in the cenotes. It was like having our own private cenotes the entire time. Freddy is a great and knowledgeable guide. He answered all our questions and provided great information on Merida, the Yucatan, the cenotes and Izamal. I definitely recommend taking this tour with Guias de Yucatan when you're in Merida.
It was lovely to swim the Cenotes and see Izamal. Enjoyed David’s skillful guiding and stories. It was a lovely tour!
My wife and I went with one other couple to 4 Cenotes, it was our first time and it did not disappoint. We had a blast, bring swim shoes and googles. Worth every cent, don't forget to tip your tour guide/driver.
The cenotes of Santa Barbara were simply amazing. Each of the cenotes were different. Cenote #1 was almost entirely domed with little sunlight entering, #2 was an amazing cavern filled with stalagtites, and #4 was the largest fully open to the sky -- looking like a natural lazy river. The guide, Delio, was a big part of our enjoyment. His knowledge and passion for the Mayan culture is obvious and inspiring. What a gentle, kind soul he is, and he's very funny too! We plan on returning to the Yucatan to ride el Tren Maya and visit additional Mayan sites and hope that Delio will be our companion.
Everything perfect, the guide, the transportation, we had the cenotes practically to ourselves, the food, the magical town, everything excellent
I just loved in one place 4 cenotes that surprise you when entering for its features, it is a nice place where you enjoy the freezing water and be in contact with nature, additional the children's area is very nice and fun and the restaurant of the best for its season
Excellent Service, amazing tour, our guide gave us a lot of interesting information. I would definitely return to another tour with this agency!! Thank you very much.
Excellent service, very friendly people who made this experience amazing. The Guide is a very prepared person who always made us feel super good about everything, we did not lack anything!!!
Merida is a beautiful destination, complete, excellent food, beautiful and interesting city, incredible cenotes, magical villages nearby, only the heat is a challenge, recommended to visit in winter or autumn.
It was a very fatherly experience! The cenotes are beautiful and we were the first to arrive at the place then all the cenotes touched us alone!! Izamal also very nice, although I wish we had more time there, I feel that a hr was very fast that you have to do everything running. Highly recommended, good guide:)
We recommend! The guide Delio very friendly, charismatic and intelligent, informed us of everything. Excellent service, arrived punctual from the beginning, until the end of the tour, we were fulfilled with everything mentioned and everything was excellent
I was looking for several services and no other tour agency convinced me until I found them and I was fascinated with the low prices and their super friendly treatment are very good people with a good atmosphere both on the trip and on the tour and very beautiful to the cenotes that take you if you have the opportunity to travel with them do not miss it
The tour was great, the guide Carlos Pacheco was super friendly and attentive. It allowed me to spend as much time as I wanted in the cenotes without rushing, just like in Izamal. We had a very pleasant conversation and the overall experience was the best. The cenotes, especially the last one, very beautiful!
Muy buen tour. El guia Kumen ( guias de Yucatán) fue muy amable, la actividad se desarrollo en el tiempo previsto. En Izamal no esperaba ver ruinas sin embargo si las hay y fueron visitadas, todo muy bien.
Very good service, the guides were super friendly, keep trying, the tours were really entertaining and everything was super well explained and the cenotes they took us to were super pretty and clean, 100% recommended
Excellent tour, I loved it very much, I will definitely repeat it again, plus the guide was super cool, for the price I feel it is too worth it.
A very complete tour, we were the first to arrive at the cenotes and enjoy them almost privately, the food is good and to finish the guide explained to us about the history of the magical town of Izamal and we enjoyed a 100% Yucatecan marquesita
I had a lot of fun, it was a pretty incredible experience, the guide was always attentive to the needs of the group, there was no rush, I highly recommend it.
