Aaron was an amazing tour guide!! He tailored it to what we hadn't already seen and showed us a super great restaurant / Museum that we enjoyed for dinner that evening.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our historic tour with Aaron. It was a perfect start for our time in Merida and a great way to get a lay of the land. We learned a lot about the history of the city and its key landmarks and we enjoyed getting a feel for the neighborhoods as we explored together. He also shared lots of wonderful local recommendations (for restaurants, shopping, beach, cenotes, etc.) that helped us plan out the rest of our time in Merida. He went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed his city as much as he does. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our tour with Aaron. He was kind, patient and very knowledgable. He was open to suggestions and we really appreciated his recommendations. Highly recommend
Aaron was punctual. The walking tour was very comfortable. He gave us great insights to a number of stops on the tour. He was also very flexible offering us several options as how to proceed with the tour. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.
Our guide Alvaro was amazing, knowledgeable and very passionate. He gave us a great tour of Merida provided us with great recommendations
Ivan was an incredible tour guide. Very knowledgeable and very informative. He was also very nice. He answered all of our questions and took his time to teach us about the history of Merida.
Our work group enjoyed the tour as we learned the history and culture of Merida. Our guide was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. We were, however, disappointed that we were able to go into only one historical sight.
First visit to Merida. Booked a tour of the highlights of city center of Merida. We had an excellent experience with our guide. We enjoyed the government palace and the university. Our guide shared great restaurant recommendations and night life options for tourists. The cathedral was beautiful to visit also.
The food tour in Mérida was great! Our guide Luisa took us to a market to taste some fruits we’ve never seen before, they were really good. We also had the best taco’s ever and a refreshing drink. Luisa told us a lot about local food and preparation. Highly recommended. Thank you!
Asked for flexibility on tour date as another event we attended was way behind schedule. After all, it’s Mexico so just relax and enjoy the beautiful country. Operator refused all options to reschedule or work with us at all. Other tours simply made accommodations ñ, but not this tour! Do yourself a favor, just book another tour just in case you need some scheduling flexibility!!
Louisa our guide was knowledgeable and terrific. She gave a great walking tour. Highly recommend her and the tour. Go early as it gets really hot as the it gets later.
The tour was super informative and fun, the tour guide Luisa was very approachable, fun and helpful with everything. She was making sure that the information were detailed but not too much time consuming and kept us in shade whenever she could, since it was an unbearably hot day. It was much more than we have expected and we always have high expectations. :)
Luisa was great! I learnt a lot about the area, fun facts and history. Highly recommend. Wasn’t too long, about 1.5 hours. Really concise and interesting.
I am very glad I took part in this tour. I gained some new knowledge, time passed by very fast. I would definitely recommend! Luisa was an amazing guide!
- really great tour by luisa! She gave really interesting stories and historical information about Merida - answered various questions - very friendly
Ivan was a wonderful and very knowledgeable guide. We learned a lot about Merida and the history of the Yucatan /Mayan people on the tour. Really enjoyed it!
My wife and I really enjoyed the walking tour! Luisa was really informative and even gave us tips for taking the busses around the city
This tour guide is no longer doing business in Mérida - I showed up and the person was not there. It was very disappointing since I booked and received a confirmation along with several reminders.
Antonio was an excellent tour guide! You can tell he is passionate about Merida. We took this tour our first day in town and it was very helpful in orienting ourselves to the city. I like the combination of a walking overview and then seeing the rest of the city from the comfort of a carriage. Highly recommended!
Antonio was great! Good way to learn about the city and the history. Would recommend to anyone in Merida. Don’t skip it!!
Really loved the tour! Antonio explained a lot and is a good storyteller. Afterwards he even took us to the market to taste some local food
Areli was a great tour guide and obviously very much in love with her city! She gave us a lot of information about Merida and showed us all the best parts; she was great!
Very good tour with a great local guide. Started off with a tour of the historic buildings and some context about the history before leading us through the markets which was an amazing experience and recommended for all who come here. Our guide gave us some valuable personal insights into this beautiful city and also some great restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend this tour.
Gabriel was sooo knowlagable of the history of Merida. His tour was first class. He also provided restaurant recommendations that I used . . . they were great.
Our guide Areli was very knowledgeable, courteous and answered every question we had. She added information that made the tour very interesting and informative. We learned much about Merida and the Yucatan. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a brief but comprehensive overview of the Yucatan capital.
What a great experience. Our guide was Areli, she was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great tour. She gave us a vey nice tour, visiting and understanding more about Merida and its importance in history.
Learning the history and seeing the Colonial buildings of Merida along with witnessing the process of making Cochinita Pibil were the the the highlights that made it outstanding for us. Gabriel was great!
The guide was late. He was not knowledgeable and did not really have an agenda. His English was not very good. I would not recommend this tour to anyone and request a price adjustment. Victoria Burt
The guide makes all the difference! Fernando not only was extremely knowledgeable but shared with enthusiasm. He encouraged questions. Got many special suggestions for making the most of our trip
Amazing history and cultural details. Kept us in the shade where possible and very friendly! This was our first day here and a wonderful way to get oriented in the historic district.
Manuel was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a wealth of information and many recommendations for activities and restaurants.
This walking tour of the city was amazing! Our guide, Gabriel, was incredibly knowledgeable of the area and very very kind. The tour was not difficult, physically speaking. We only walked about 5 blocks total, but the history in Merida is densely packed ans we saw so much in the area. Gabriel taught us much about the culture and history of the city. He also had recommendation after recommendation for local places. And beyond that, he would tell us what paired we'll with local dishes. This is good with beer, that is good with coca cola, etc. We greatly enjoyed our time with Gabriel and the tour was fantastic!
This was one of the best walking tours I've ever been on! Gabriel is not only knowledgable, but adds a great personality that makes for a wonderful tour! He's easy to speak to and very fun! Great tour!
Great tour with of beautiful Merida! Manuel was very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed learning about the history of Merida.
Very knowledgeable guid ! We had fun time! Pretty nice Merida history introduction and cultural experience
Our guide was really good. I can’t remember her name, but it started w an A. She gave us a great intro to Merida’s history and architecture, was easy to understand and able to answer all our questions.
Gabriel was fantastic, he showed me all around the city! Art, history, food… the only thing that would have made the experience better would be if I had grabbed a bottle of water like they recommended at the beginning of the tour
Our guide Fernando was awesome and thought us so many cool stuff about the gorgeous city of Merida. He gave us great tips to make our stay even more fun. If you have a chance do this! Thank you Fernando
The walking tour with Gabriel was excellent. He provided an engaging education on the history of Merida, those who have occupied it and the relationship to various buildings. This was a great way to spend a couple of hours learning what makes Merida special from someone who clearly has a lot of passion and knowledge. Thank you Gabriel
Fernando was our guide today. Lovely to see how passionate he is to learn tourists something about Mérida. He kept his enthousiasm the whole tour, not easy to enternain a group of people in this heat! Fernando was thoughtful and always looked for a place in the shadow. His English was good. He talked about the history in an interesting way. Besides that he recommended us a lot of good places to drink/eat and to see art for free. Would reccomend!!
Our guide, Fernando, was absolutely fantastic! He was very knowledgeable, had a great sense of humour and did a great job keeping a very large group together and engaged. He seems like a genuinely nice, wholesome person. I would love to take his tour again.
Just know that this tour is more about a history summary and not so much about visiting too many sites.
Gabriel was friendly and knowledgeable. He told us so much about the history and culture of Yucatan.
We had an amazing merida tour with Gabriel. He told us all about the history of the city with some very original anecdotes. Very knowledgeable, also for our other Mexican related questions! Would absolutely recommend. Thank you Gabriel!
Gabriel was a great tour guide! He is very passionate about his city and knowledgeable. I enjoyed learning the history of Merida! Thanks for a great introduction to this beautiful city! 10/10 would recommend!
I was fortunate enough to be the only person to show up so I got a private tour from Fernando! He was great, very knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining and an all around super nice guy! The tour isn't too long, you walk a few blocks and you get recommendations for restaurants and entertainment in addition to quite a bit of historical facts.
Ivan was a fantastic and knowledgable host! He did a great job explaining the history of the city and recommended a few places to visit and eat. Highly recommend!
Something happened and the guide never showed up. Had to call them a couple of times to try to sort it out. Giving them two stars and not one for issuing a quick refund. Surprised as they had really good reviews but I guess just bad luck for us
Excellent tour! Ivan is very knowledgeable about Merida and his love for the city and it's history are clear. We did the English tour, which was great. Not only did we learn a great deal about the city, Ivan also explained things about places we didn't visit on the tour but should definitely check out during our stay, as well as restaurants and dishes to try. All the more valuable to take the tour at the beginning of your stay in Merida.
Ivan was a very interesting guide. We were only 2 french people and ivan did the visit in french. He said full stories about Merida and tips to help us in our trip. We recommend +++
