Both drivers were very attentive and helpful! One thing I would suggest improving is the pick up directions. The driver is waiting at arrivals with a sign with your name, but that was not indicated so was a little confusing.
Our driver met us in the airport, as directed. He was courteous, professional and friendly. During the trip, he provided history, practical advice and guidance for his beautiful city.

Booked airport pickup and return with Merida Elite before our trip to Merida. Highly recommend this for travelers coming into the city. Upon our arrival our driver was waiting by the exit doors to the parking lot with our name and we were driven to our destination in the city easily and without any hassle. The same for the pickup for departure. Our driver showed up 10 minutes early to our Airbnb to take us back to the airport with an easy drop off. No hassles, air-conditioned vans with plenty of room, and both of our drivers were very nice and helpful. The pricing is very reasonable and we were so glad that we chose this service since it took away any stress of finding a taxi. The company was very quick to answer my questions via email and they provide very good information for the service overall.

Alex had a large printed sign with my name on it at the airport. We get to my AIRB&B and we could not get access. Alex waited and walked with us. We were able to talk with an expat about locating our house to no avail. The expat invited us insider and we thanked Alex profusely. Little did I know that Alex drove off with my purse/passport. I was ONLY able to track him down because of VIATOR!! I called Viator, they contacted Alex, and he came to our (new) hotel three times so that he could hand me the purse in person.

The transportation was impeccable. It was our first time to Merida and our Spanish is rudimentary so we treated ourselves to a custom pick-up at the airport. We got clear directions where to go, and sure enough, they had a little sign with our name on it. They handled our bag, rode us in air-conditioned comfort. We did the pick up from the hotel and they were prompt at 4 a.m. as well. Absolutely recommend for the peace of mind; enjoy your vacation from the moment you grab your luggage at the airport :)
I used Merida Elite for round-trip transfer from Merida airport to my Merida hotel. Everything went completely smoothly; my flight in was long delayed but their driver was waiting for me, and the driver was at the arranged time on the way back. Both were friendly and helpful. What impressed me most was the company's professonalism and communication. I had questions before arrival that they answered promptly and clearly, and when I needed to reschedule my return the process was totally smooth and their clear confirmations were reassuring. I recommend them highly.

Driver was on time and waiting with my name on a sign board. The vehicle was clean but nothing special. The reason for only 4 stars is that the ride was advertised to include free cold bottles of water (or soda) and none was on board.
I had a flight change and called to notify Viator and they amended the reservation. When I arrived at my destination, there was no one to pick me up. I called repeatedly and no one answered the phone. I had to arrange a taxi.

We booked a round trip from Merida airport to our centro located hotel. Confirmations were received and at arrival, we got a phone call confirming where to meet our driver. We then needed to alter our departure schedule and it was easily done, with a text confirmation. The drivers were courteous, and drove safely through the challenging streets of central Merida. We could have saved a few pesos with a taxi, but a pre-planned and ready-to-go transfer was worth it.
