We traveled from the US to experience Chichen Itza, and Martin made our day truly unforgettable. His knowledge of Mayan culture and history is incredibly profound, and what made it even more special was the authenticity he brought to every explanation. Drawing from his own personal heritage, he shared stories that left our small group of four in genuine awe of this remarkable civilization and its lasting impact on Yucatan culture. Martin was remarkably patient throughout the tour, answering every question we had and taking time to explain details whenever anything was unclear. What initially seemed like an unconventional choice, his use of an "iPad" (laminated printed images), proved to be genuinely clever. While other guides' tablets struggled in the bright afternoon sun, Martin's laminated pictures remained perfectly clear and visible from a distance, giving us a real advantage in our experience. The tour covered all the essential sites beautifully, from the Cenote to the ball court and the iconic Great Pyramid, all timed perfectly so we didn't feel rushed or have excessive downtime. We would highly recommend Martin and his company to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of Mayan culture and explore Chichen Itza with an expert guide.

We had a great day on this tour. Got to Chichen Itza early to beat the crowds and the heat. Our tour guide, Henry, was brilliant, really engaging. We then went to the first cenote which was truly breathtaking - it’s a really slick set up with changing rooms, lockers and life jackets provided. Lunch was really delicious - we had cochinita pibil and thoroughly enjoyed. Best food we’ve had on a tour like this. Finally, we travelled to cenotes 2&3 which are in the same place, 10 mins walk between them. Really incredible to see so many different vibes of cenote, and a wonder of the world, all in one day. Great value for money. Definitely recommend!

We had a great time on this tour. Our driver, Sergio, was very professional, punctual and friendly. Communications were clear with Lakin Tours via WhatsApp, whilst the transportation on the day was smooth. The local lunch included in the price was also amazing.

We had an amazing experience on our trip to Chichén Itzá! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our guide, Martin, was truly exceptional—his knowledge, passion, and storytelling made the history come alive. He explained everything in a very engaging way and was always happy to answer all of our questions, which made the visit even more interesting. After the tour, our driver took us to some stunning cenotes—absolutely beautiful and a perfect way to cool off and relax. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at La Tía Poloc, which was a great addition to the day. Everything ran smoothly, we were provided with water throughout the trip, and all the details were clearly explained in advance. Highly recommended—this was a fantastic experience!

Great tour, with a perfect amount of time at each place. Lakin drive you to Chichen Itza and you have a separate tour guide onsite, and it was fantastic to get there ahead of the crowds and heat (although quite a bit of shade around the place as well as bathrooms). Lunch was a little underwhelming, but there was enough food, and the cenotes were a highlight - our driver Sergio was knowledgeable, polite and reliable. We'd recommend this tour again!

We had a great experience on this tour and would highly recommend it. Being such a small group (only three people) made it feel more personal and flexible. We arrived at Chichen Itza early, at the opening time (before the crowds), which made the visit more enjoyable. Enrique was an excellent guide—very professional and knowledgeable, explaining not just the main attraction but the entire site in an interesting way. Sergio, our driver, was also wonderful—kind, punctual, and well organized. He gave clear instructions throughout the day and showed us around the cenotes, making everything run smoothly. Lunch at a local restaurant was delicious, and we also tried out how to make tortillas. The tour was also very flexible, allowing us to finish a bit earlier when we didn’t need as much time at the cenotes. 10/10 experience!

This was an excellently planned tour. We were picked up and driven to Chichen-Itza (via the pickup of one other person), arriving before it had opened. This was perfect as it meant we were there before it was too hot and busy so we could get lots of good photos. Our tour guide Enrique was excellent. We then stopped off at 3 different Cenotes and a typical Mexican restaurant on our way back to our hotel. Our driver was friendly and would always let us know how long each part of the journey was. He also helped organise the Chichen-Itza tickets in advance so that we didn't have to queue on the day.

Wonderful, well organised tour of Chichen Itza and surrounding cenotes. Small number of people for this tour. Turned out to be a private tour for our small group of four people. Highly recommend. Lunch included and is at a local restaurant.

We had perfect day with this tour! Our guide Martin was very knowledgeable about chichen itza and had such a good way of communicated. We learned so much from him and he was very interesting to listen to and answered all our questions that we had during the tour. Our driver Sergio that was with us throughout the day was an excellent driver, and took very good care of us at the different cenotes. He was very informative and during our lunch we were even able to see how they made tortillas. This was the perfect way to see chichen itza and cenotes in a small group (we were only 4 people total). I would highly recommend this tour to my friends!

Well planned, transport was very good , going to Chichen itza in the morning is your best strategy in order to avoid the crowds and the heat. Followed by a beautiful cenote, then an authentic myan lunch. Great way to spend a day!

Prompt pickup at the hotel early This company contacted us the day before and offered to buy our skip the line tickets for the ruins , at the box office price which was handy Special thanks to Martín our top notch guide. His English was clear and he spoke with intelligence and passion about Chichen itza . The 3 cenotes were interesting and the lunch was fine also. We recommend this trip for a trouble free and pleasant day.

Excellent tour all around! They checked in with us the night before with all the information we needed for a smooth pick up. The driver was punctual and friendly. They purchased tickets (at the correct price) for Chichen Itxa entrance ahead of time. We were one of the first groups and making it nice for photos and to not be in the extreme heat. Our guide Enrique was great!! Perfect amount of history without inundating us. The driver was clear as he drove us to lunch and the cenotes, whenever we were done with one stop he was suddenly right there with a bottle of cold water. Normally don’t go for these early AM tours but 100% worth it for such a full day!!

Despite being a bit pricey this tour is definitely worth it. The early pick up meant we beat the crowds for most of Chichen Itza which was great. Enrico was a great guide with a lot of history knowledge. The cenotes are amazing and all unique. I’d recommend not looking at too many photos before you go so that you can get the wow factor like we did :)

We had an amazing tour at Chichen Itza and 3 cenotes with Lakintours. I first thought that it was a bit pricy but eventually looking back I think that it was totally worth it because everything was simply perfect. Communication to get things organised was super clear and fast, no hidden costs, full transparency. The tour is organised for small groups and I like it a lot (we were a group of 3). Our driver, Gustavo, was the sweetest person: he drives carefully, he was super caring and patient, nicely discussing about his region, and he was super punctual, which was highly appreciated when waiting at 6.55 to be picked up. The tour itself was awesome: we arrived at Chichen Itza before it opened, so we were among the first ones in. There was therefore no crowd and the temperature was still fine. I am very happy that we had a guide to explain us the ruins, we learned a lot. Then, the visit of the cenotes was also perfect, it was enough time to fully enjoy a bath in each of the cenotes and to take pictures. Lunch was incredible, we had a super nice meal with one drink included. Overall, it was a great experience and I can only recommend Lakintours for those who seek high quality, authentic (almost private) tour at Chichen Itza and 3 cenotes (Ik kil, Xkeken and Manula). Everything about this tour was wonderful. Our driver was amazing, the tour itself of Chichen Itza was informative and worth going early because there were not a lot of people and it wasn’t too hot. The three cenotes were incredible and the meal was delicious. We even got the chance to make our own tortillas! Overall, 10/10 experience and worth every penny and more.

We were a group of two adults and two teenagers, and we had an absolutely amazing experience! This was without a doubt the best tour we could have wished for, and we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to explore Chichén Itzá and the cenotes around Valladolid in a smooth, relaxed, and truly educational way. We were picked up early at our hotel and arrived right at 8:00 a.m. when Chichén Itzá opened. Thanks to our excellent driver, we passed through checkpoints effortlessly and were dropped off as close to the entrance as possible. Cold bottles of water were offered throughout the day, which was a very welcome and thoughtful touch. At the entrance, we were greeted by an outstanding guide who was Maya himself. He gave us a fascinating 1.5-hour tour of Chichén Itzá, and impressively, even our teenagers were fully engaged the entire time. His English was flawless and very easy to understand. After the guided tour, we had time to explore the site on our own before heading to the cenotes. On our way out, we clearly saw the huge advantage of starting early and having a private tour, as long lines of buses were waiting just to enter. We visited three beautiful cenotes and enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local spot. Everything was perfect. Our driver/guide was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. My son especially had a fantastic time with him, sitting in the front during the drive and chatting along the way. A huge thank you for an unforgettable experience – it was truly the perfect way to spend a day in and around Valladolid!

The driver was friendly and helpful and showed us where everything was and arranged a time to meet up. He gave us good information and recommendations. The guide who gave us a tour of Chichen Itza had excellent English and gave us lots of interesting and useful information about the site. The lunch location was excellent Mayan food. We were told it would be better to buy our tickets ahead of time but as we got there ahead of time, it wasn’t an issue.

Great trip, Sergio was our driver and was super friendly, a very careful driver and attentive. Henry was our guide at chichen itza and his knowledge was fascinating. The cenotes we're all different and the second one there were only 6 of us there, the other two a few more but not at all crowded. If you have your own padlock, no need to pay for a locker at the last two... The meal after the first cenote was tasty and we made our own tacos. Drink was included, so was 1 choice from the main course, only had to pay if you ordered extras. All in all a fun experience 😁

We went with an amazing guide to Chichen Itza who was a Mayan himself. He gave as any and all information and we also beat the tourist crowds. The Cenotes were all unique and beautiful too

We had an amazing time on our tour of Chichén Itza and three cenotes. Our tour arrived at chichen itza right when it opened allowing us to beat the crowd. It felt like we had the whole park to ourselves! The cenotes were incredible, one was open and deep with beautiful vegetation. The other two were in caves, one with breathtaking stalactites and very clear shallow water. Our lunch was delicious traditional Mayan cuisine in a cute tropical restaurant. We highly recommend this tour!!

Great pickup and drop off service. The car/van was clean and modern, very safe and smooth ride. The driver was very nice, the restaurant was very cute and felt like we were eating with the Mayas like they did ages ago. The food was great! Chichen itza and the cenotes were mind-blowing and our guide Henrique made it all even better, very knowledgeable, passionate about his culture and history and very engaging.

The Chichen Itza guide Enrique was fantastic, with such good knowledge and very clear excellent English. The 3 cenotes we visited were all very different and a great experience. Lunch was good. This was the perfect tour of Chichen Itza and cenotes. Getting to Chichen Itza as soon as it opened we missed lots of big tour groups that had just arrived when we got there. Our tour guide, Henry, was fantastic and had so much knowledge of Chichen Itza and Mayan culture. The cenotes visited were lovely, the lunch was delicious - we even got to have a go at making our own corn tortillas! Our tour guide for the day, Gustavo, was excellent. Overall, highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed. Also just to note that my husband and I both speak English only and both our tour guides spoke very good English which we were so grateful for.

The tour was fantastic. It was just two of us on the tour (my wife and I) and Martin was very passionate about explaining the cultural and historic legacy of the Mayan people. The cenotes were brilliant. Clean, safe and very fun. They were three very special cenotes to visit. Lunch was fantastic. A little hidden restaurant, literally in the wooded area next to the highway. The staff were friendly and they allowed us to help make the tortillas that we then ate, which was a lovely touch.

Perfect tour if you are staying in Vallodolid. We had a small group of 3 for our tour. We arrived at the entrance around 15 mins before opening at 7:45 and were able to get inside and see the sites before it became too hot. By the time we were leaving the place was packed with tour groups. The cenotes were fascinating and a great way to cool off after.

Perfect tour, groups can be from 2 to 6 people maximum, which makes it more intimate and less expensive. Our guide at Chichén Itzá was Mayan, which enhanced the local experience even more. The chosen cenotes are wonderful and the restaurant is authentic and very good. We absolutely recommend booking with this operator.

We had a great day! The day was supposed to be in a small group, but in the end, it was just the two of us with my husband. The driver is very kind and gives good advice. Thank you Martin, thank you for everything! Arriving at Chichen Itza, we had a guided tour of the site with Eyder Misael. He is a great guide, who took the time to tell us everything he knows about the site and to answer all our questions. At noon, we ate at a very good traditional restaurant, and the cenotes are very pretty to see as well. We therefore 100% recommend this excursion!

Incredible and very complete experience. The driver, Sergio, was calm, very attentive, and approachable. The restaurant is great, very authentic, and the food is delicious and traditional. It was a great idea to go early in the morning to see Chichen Itza to avoid the crowds and the heat. The cenotes: the first one is a bit too touristy (although very beautiful), the second two are more relaxed and genuine. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately our original tour with chitchen itza could not take place because it was unexpectedly closed. But the tour operator kept us well informed and we were able to easily convert it to only ek balam with an extra Cenote. We immediately arranged a full refund via Viator and then booked the new one with themselves (lakintours). It was a great tour! The guide was super friendly and had super much knowledge that she shared with us. We were nicely on time in Ek Balam so we could climb the big palace before the crowds out, which was very cool. The Cenotes were also super cool and two totally different, which made it extra fun. Definitely recommended!!

Excellent experience, we went to look very early for the driver, very friendly, and told us a lot about the cenotes, always available water, the best thing about the trip is chichen itza, there we were with another guide, that you must highlight his knowledge knew how to answer all our queries, the guide was Eyder Misael Dzib Yam, a very trained man, with very complete knowledge about the Mayan culture, a real history class, highly recommended.

This tour was just what we expected. Best of all: Small group and start well soon to get to Chchen Itza just before they open and be able to visit it without any crowding. When we finished the tour at 10:30 the place was already full of tourists. Then we visited 3 cenotes (1 open, 1 closed 1 semi open). Our driver (Sergio) was lovely and helped us a lot with some objects we forgot in the van.
